What a nostalgic joy this is, as my son and his friends are skating to good music and lights. I can't say I'm going to rollerskate today or ever, but am older and the back hurts enough. Yet am grinning from ear to ear. The prices are family friendly, and the staff are friendly and professional. I feel my son and other young people are safe here. That alone is a relief, as teenagers can be interesting. I watched managements rapport with young people, and they are really nice to them. They keep this a safe and family friendly place. Also I learned this is family owned. Kudos to everyone here, as this is a must visit place if in the area. This could be the biggest rollerskate place in the region, and I encourage people from NOVA and the DMV to come here. They sell food, such as pizzas and other good items. The seating area is quite comfortable. A gem of Culpeper, and definitely give this place five stars, as it is a special place!

There was a period where they stopped classes because of some issue in the rink & that was a bummer for her, but they are back to it. She loves it. I didn't interact with any staff, so I can't speak on that. Please dress for winter when you go though. I couldn't feel my feet, hands, or nose by the time I left there, and I was wearing a jean jacket and leggings. I know better for next time. There's not much parking available on the side of the building, but there's plenty in the front. It's just a short walk to get to the entrance. I recommend this place for ice skating lessons. My daughter loves her instructor.

All of the 1-STAR reviewers were correct in saying that some of the ceiling tiles have water damage, tile fixtures are falling off, the facility is old, and it's dirty. Even with some of these expensive deal breakers for a place of business, the people who work here are very kind and welcoming. The man who told me to spit my gum out upon entering said it matter of factly. I didn't perceive it as yelling as other reviewers stated. After reading the board before paying to enter and meeting that man, my daughter even reminded me that I had to spit out my gum. The snack bar is busy since outside food/drink can't be brought in. Be ready to pay a lot to quench your thirst from skating. The music selections are awesome and ranges from 70s to current. All upbeat and fun! The 5 stars are well deserved for the huge smile this place gave my daughter and the confidence it gives her to roller skate. Considering many businesses that come to die here in Winchester, this roller skating rink has been able to hold its own for a long time.

In a world where trampoline parks charge $20+ a kid for an hour, this place feels like a miracle. It was pretty crowded, but they keep a good flow going on the floor, good music, and a great family friendly atmosphere. They have the little walker/roller carts for children to learn on, but fair warning they do run out so get there early or you might be waiting. You might think that with such a cheap entry fee they make up the money on concessions, but nope. A bottle of water is still only $1 here. Honestly, Bush Tabernacle seems like a community service project gone right and just what parents of cabin-fevered kids need in this area. I hadn't skated it like 20 years and somehow picked it right back up, and it was fun for me too. In addition to the skating rink, they also have a small free play game area where kids can take a break with Fortnite, Rocket League, etc., as well as two air hockey tables and a ping pong table. There's a large area with tables for renting out for parties, too. I was pleasantly surprised by this place, and the whole family wants to come back soon.

Built just in the 1980s, she's looking a little worse for the wear, with cracks in her beautiful paint, and the sad, sad, closed roller rink behind her looking like something from after the zombie apocalypse takes us all. If you have to go more than 15 minutes out of your way to see the skate, I'd recommend skipping it. It just makes me wish I was an eccentric millionaire so I could rescue beauties like this single, lone, rollerskate and collect them in a more high-traffic area where they could be appreciated.

I have a recorded phone call of her admitting to bullying my child, and the Coach Tiki Tikhonov did absolutely nothing about it, and allowed the TM to continue to coach and be involved with the team. Not only was the team horribly ran and coached, they did a bait and switch when they received the full season fees ($2850). The removed HALF the games and are refusing any refund. My child participated in 14 games and 22 practices. A total of 36 events, compared to paid for 118 events. My child utilized 30.5% of the paid for games and practices, resulting in a total obligation to Piedmont Hockey Club, LLC of $869.25. A remaining refund due is $1,980.75 and the executive director, Ron, as well as Coach Tiki are refusing to do what is right.
