Donna and her partner are amazing. The kennel does not smell like a kennel it so clean. She has spots that are big and have cots for your fur baby. They have accommodations for dogs of all sizes. They have some farm animals that our dog Elvis loves it there. Donna sends me an update and pictures of my furbaby everytime he is there. That gives me and my husband peace of mind. As I have to go to Cleveland Ohio mayo clinic in Cleveland so having to deal with health issues is enough worry. Donna makes my worry much less about my furbaby Elvis.! Donna and your partner thank you, you are both the best and Elvis loves coming to you's. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our furbaby Elvis. All I can say is "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!" The campground we stayed at said we could not leave our dog alone, not even in the camper. She does well in the camper and mostly sleeps when we're gone. She's content. However, the campground said we couldn't even leave her in the camper. We had made reservations for 2 day cruises. Fortunately, Donna and Art were there. They accepted Blueberry and kept her for day boarding for 2 days. We were able to attend both cruises, and Blueberry was just fine. The kennel building on the farm was nice and clean, and Blueberry enjoyed the smells of the farm when Donna took her out for walks. Great experience for us! read more

They boarded our Aussie last weekend for three nights. The kennels were very clean and the dog could go outside. Our dog was fine when we picked him up, not stressed or acting out. We'd go back. Well priced also. read more

We are thrilled that Donna and Art have decided to create and operate Funny Farm Kennels. My husband and I had a large family trip planned for a few weeks out of the country and we were very concerned about our options for care for our spoiled, yellow lab Chief. When we came up to Clayton in early May we checked out the Funny Farm facility (and its operators!) and was very impressed. As a result we boarded Chief there. We were a bit nervous because of the length of time we would be away but Donna kept us apprised of Chief's status with pics and periodic text updates - which put our minds at ease. They kept him exercised and also applied ointments and meds as needed for a prior wound. When we picked him up his wounds were fully healed, ears were white and clean, and Chief acted like we had never left - a true testament to a great experience.
