If you care even slightly about your pets, stay far away! When I took my puppy in for a Lyme booster, they mistakenly attempted to administer a distemper vaccine, despite my explicit instructions that only the Lyme booster was needed. This should have been my first red flag to avoid this clinic entirely. The situation worsened when I brought my 9 1/2-year-old Newfoundland, who has had double knee surgery, hip dysplasia, and severe tendon laxity, to the clinic. Instead of assigning her to an experienced vet familiar with complex cases, the front office staff placed her with their newest veterinarian, Dr. Coscomb. While Dr. Coscomb was polite, she seemed unfamiliar with my dog's intricate condition and performed a superficial examination. The real issue lay with the disorganized and indifferent front office staff, including Maggie, Becky, and Ashley. The reception area was chaotic, and their outdated practice of not using computers for prescriptions only added to the inefficiency. I was unable to get any pain medication for my dog at the clinic, and Chewy ended up being far more helpful than this dismal office. In June, when my dog's condition worsened, I called the clinic in tears, hoping to adjust her medications for comfort. The office staff promised a callback that never came. Despite multiple follow-ups, they claimed to have contacted me, but I had no record of missed calls or messages. I had to drive three hours to pick up a prescription, only to find it incomplete because the vet failed to include the DEA number. This forced me to make another three-hour trip for a new prescription, highlighting their incompetence. Lauren Felix, the HR Manager, was shockingly rude and uncooperative. She exhibited classic narcissistic behavior, deflecting responsibility and gaslighting me, showing more concern for her own ego than for addressing my dog's suffering. They blamed me for choosing a distant vet based on false ratings, which only added to their egregious lack of empathy. The clinic's incessant excuse-making is nauseating. They tried to shift the blame onto me for the supposed mistake of choosing them. Their conduct has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by lies, hostility, and a blatant disregard for animal welfare. They even had the audacity to send a certified letter terminating our vet-client relationship, accusing me of poor communication, despite their own failings--ironically hilarious, given that I had already made it clear that their establishment was a complete disaster and I would never tolerate their incompetence again. This clinic should have its license revoked for its appalling practices. If you value your pet's health, mental well-being, and money, avoid this clinic like the plague. Report their blatant lies and poor practices to the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and other regulatory agencies. The shop is clean, they abide by the current COVID-19 sanitizing directions, they take great care of our puppies, and I would go nowhere else. The communication between the staff and the client is fantastic. They always called to confirm appointments, they go the extra mile when it comes to the pups, they are less expensive than other people, and do 100% better job. I cannot complement them enough.

It took 24 hours for him to even show any sign of life. I waited 2 days before writing this because I was so angry. They have accommodations for dogs of all sizes. They have some farm animals that our dog Elvis loves it there. Donna sends me an update and pictures of my furbaby everytime he is there. Over the years, Dr. Bender has saved my dog on multiple occasions and helped make sure he had the best life possible! Until recently, Dr. Bender has been the sole veterinarian there and works 6 days a week without a break. She is dedicated to what she does and does it well. My dog and I recently meant her new partner Dr. Kelsey and she is great as well! The entire time I have taken my dog there, Dr. Bender, Dr. Kelsey, and their AMAZING vet tech/support staff (shout out to Ashley, Lora, Hannah, Julie, Amber & Chelsea) have answered all my questions (trust me, there were many) and concerns and made sure my dog was seen whenever he needed to. I know he was not their only patient and it had to have been difficult to squeeze him in, but they never made me feel like I was wasting their time. And on one of the worst days of my life, when I had to say goodbye to my beloved pup, they went above and beyond and made sure it was a peaceful, comforting experience. In this time, I've trained and boarded my own dogs with her on many occasions. Sandra is extremely knowledgeable and always has the dogs' best interests at heart. Over the years, she's taken foster dogs from shelters and private individuals to give them a new lease on life through training and placement, she's established herself as a trainer of solid, amazing service dogs, and she's helped countless pets and their owners. She's helped the local 4H dog program, trained many new handlers for their debuts in various dog sports, and cheered on those who trained with her throughout their dog sport experiences. Sandra is honest, sometimes bluntly so, and some people take offense to it - but it's necessary when working with dogs, especially dogs that are reactive or aggressive. She's also an excellent problem solver, tailoring her program and approach to the needs of each individual dog. Sandra brings not only her lifetime of experience (she grew up in a dog sport home), her own continuing training and seminar attendance with others to further her knowledge, and ha willingness to adapt her approach to the individual dog that you won't find with any big box store, training chain, or less experienced trainers in this area.
