We've gone to Jessie's for years. We actually drive up from Syracuse, because we prefer her grooming. She's a great groomer, running a hectic busy business. I have 2 dogs, and admittedly this guy is awesome. He's also not good at not barking. But most importantly, he's my best friend and Jessie knows this and treats him as such. I see bad reviews here, but none that have to do with GROOMING. But look at Mr. Pickles! He is so handsome! He is a good boy (I can pretend). He just doesn't like your dogs. read more

Jessie was absolutely wonderful with mickey she did such a great job I will definitely be using her for all my grooming services. I recommend her 10 outta 10 for sure the best hands down. The last two times we've taken our dog here, we've picked him covered in pee. Rachel, rudely suggested that since I did not arrive 15 minutes upon completion of his groom (I work full time and came within 45 minutes of notification) he peed all over himself. Now let me back up. Our dog has been getting groomed with numerous groomers across multiple states, ranging from large companies to small, privately owned businesses for approximately 6 years now. He has never peed on himself while waiting to be picked up (and he has gone a whole lot longer than 45 minutes waiting before). Also, I ensured he used the bathroom upon arrival before dropping him off so it isn't like he went in with a full bladder. After Rachel retrieved and what seemed like dumped a bucket of water on him in attempt to rinse him off, she walked him out to me. I asked politely if she should dry him off really quick and we would be on our way. However, after another rude comment about how I took too long to arrive, she jerked at his collar ripping it off of his head and dragged him back to be hastily dried whereI could hear the comments continue. She brought him back out semi-dry and still wreaking of urine and we left. I understand everyone is busy, and everyone has their days. But as someone who is paying for a service (that isn't cheap), I wont tolerate disrespect. Not sure why the last two times he has been here, he comes home soiled in urine. Was going to try this groomer, based on reviews and wanting to spend money locally, however, will not be utilizing them for the simple fact of bad business practices! If you make an appointment, be prepared to book at least 1 month out (no problem, which is what we did)... the issue I have is that they DO NOT provide a courtesy appointment reminder call prior to appointment date unless you have asked them to, according to person who answered the phone today. Their reason stated is because "they are too busy, they have 100's of clients " ... I totally agree it's my responsibility to remember the appointment. I did put it in my phones calendar, but unfortunately it did not remind as I had set it up to... BUT in my opinion, the business could have provided a routine courtesy reminder for their businesses sake, as well as mine, a "valued" customer. I received no such call because I was unaware I needed to request a reminder call. They apparently are NOT too busy when it comes to charging a $60 no show fee for missing the appointment today!!! AND still made NO attempt to reconcile the appointment. That's an example of poor customer service! YES, that's how I was reminded of my dogs grooming appointment today, the text message notification that I had just been charged for missing the appointment! I get it, I agreed to the charge if i no showed, which is why they had my account info!!! But believe me I never intended to miss the appointment and the response I was given when I called, confirmed that I will not be using their services in the future. Again, my issue is your bad business practice of having immediate time available to charge me a no show fee! BUT you have NO time to provide a friendly appointment reminder call !?!? Wish this didn't happen, guess we will continue to take our dogs to PETCO! Never missed an appointment there, probably because they have basic systems in place to retain customers! read more

The girls did a fantastic job with Linus! I had heard great things about Jessie's Pet Spa for a long time and finally decided to give them a try after my attempts to groom my dog did not go so well. I was very impressed; I mean it in the best way when I say that I didn't even recognize Linus when they brought him out. Plus, whatever shampoo/scent they used on him smelled great and lasted for days. I just made an appointment for my other dog as well. read more
