If I could give zero stars, I would. I traveled from Tuscaloosa, AL to Fultondale, AL for my God-daughter's 9th birthday party. The party was supposed to start at 3 pm, but when I arrived at 3:30 pm, nothing had even begun. My sister and her guests were seated in the corner where we waited for over an hour. When we finally got into the room after 4:30 pm, nothing was ready! We had to decorate the room ourselves around the guests, and the pizza took another 30 minutes to arrive after requesting it from the manager. My daughter had turned in one of her Nike Panda Dunks for skates, but shortly after, she decided not to skate anymore. When she went to retrieve her shoe, the one they gave her was worn-out and dirty, and when they brought a second one, it was the wrong size. I went to the front to find the correct shoe, and they couldn't locate it. I waited an hour while they searched, and even the security guard got involved, asking me questions. When I pointed out the employee who took the shoe, she seemed clueless and disappeared after a brief attempt to help. The security guard informed me that they spoke with the owner, and his solution was to keep the other shoe and give his staff until the end of the night to find the missing one. I explained that we were headed to another event, and my daughter couldn't leave without shoes. The owner refused to accommodate us, stating I was being rude for not accepting his suggestion. He hung up on me after saying that was all he had to offer. At that point, I lost my patience. The owner took no responsibility for his staff's mistake, nor did he try to see things from my perspective. The manager made me go outside to talk, and I told her I'd be filing a police report since my property had effectively been stolen. Meanwhile, the employee who disappeared came back with her colleagues, and they took a break while the rest of the staff searched for the shoe. One of them apologized, but when I tried to ask questions, another employee rudely interrupted and rolled his eyes at me, saying, "It's not her fault, didn't we refund your party?" He clearly hadn't even spoken to me before that, as it wasn't my daughter's birthday party. It turns out, they had refunded another party because they had been waiting just as long as us without receiving pizza, drinks, or even a greeting. The entire situation was chaotic. After the police left and I realized I wasn't getting anywhere, I gave my address in the hopes that the owner would send a check if the shoe wasn't found. With all the stores closed, I couldn't buy new shoes for my daughter, so my sister gave her own shoes to my daughter so we could still attend our dinner plans. Thirty minutes after leaving, the manager called to say the owner had decided that if I bought new shoes, I could return the next day for reimbursement. I had suggested that earlier, but the owner dismissed it. I ended up having to stay the night in Fultondale to avoid driving an hour back and forth again. The manager was incredibly apologetic the next day, and they reimbursed me, but the entire ordeal was a massive inconvenience. The staff did their best, but the owner was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. If it weren't for the manager, Caliegh B., who fought hard to resolve the issue, I doubt I would have received my money back. I will never return to this establishment. And, yes, we missed the entire party while I stood around for over an hour waiting for them to search for the shoe. All the other guests had left by the time it was over. read more

My family has been traveling for a few weeks. We couldn't decide on where to go for our summer trip so we decided to see how many skate rinks we could skate at before returning home. So far we are day 5 and have skated at 5 different rinks. #11 rinks since NYE! This rink has the best floor of all of them!! It is so easy to skate on it. Nice and smooth but not overly slippery. The floor is clearly marked for newbies to know the area they should stay in without getting in the way of the more advanced skaters. We certainly aren't advanced skaters and hate feeling like we are holding people back. This place is great!! The music was awesome. We watch regulars helping new skaters with points and advice. Overall this has been our favorite rink yet!!! read more

If you can't go during free skate I wouldn't waste my money. Last summer it was $7.00 to skate plus a piece of pizza and drink 10-3pm. I came today at 12:30 no lunch cost $7 to skate and $3.00 skate rental. We came 3 times a week last year but that is a no for this summer....plus we had to ask that they play something other than elevator music and to turn it up. This would not be one of my skate centers of choice. My girls attended a birthday party on a Saturday. We were to be in the dreary small party room before skating to eat. They were behind an hour before the pizza came out. So why did the drinks come out even later. Not so good experience for me and I am looking for a place to host my child's skate party. This of course would not be it. After eating the kids were allowed to skate. Which was fun! The music was kid friendly! They charge $7 for the pvc skate helpers and you get $2 back upon returning it. Overall the experience was mediocre. They do offer skating lessons! read more

They didn't have enough skates at all & the costumer services was bad. I wouldn't come back to this place at all.

Horrible! They don't have enough line skates and they don't refund the full. I paid $32 and I only got refunded $10 for two people.

I was greeted by the rudest woman in the world at this skate center. I ask about a 2.00 off coupon I had found online but could not print out due to bad printer nd she started screaming and telling me how stupid I was for not knowing how to work a printer. She charged me 30.00 per child. I don't know if that's correct or not. We just pulled in and decided to skate. No wonder she wouldn't honor the coupon with her at the desk they probably don't make much money. read more

Terrible experience. Staff was rude and petty and treated everyone like children. I am a skilled skater and never fell or compromised the balance of anyone else and the manager pulled me aside and told me I had to slow down. When I asked what the "speed limit" was they said I had to skate slow enough to match everyone else's speed, which is ridiculous. Not a fun atmosphere, they were constantly reprimanding people from the announcement booth instead of just letting everyone have fun. I went with two other girls and we are all in our late twenties and respectful people, and they treated us like we were stupid. Bathrooms are never clean either. Don't waste your time, you would have more fun skating in a driveway than at this place. read more

Very clean, welcoming staff, safe environment, and a wide range of skater skills (from first-timers to pros). Not the most modern feel (if anything it's a definite throwback to the roller skating hay-day) but does not give off the skeevy feel at all! read more

This skating rink has gotten very racist over the past years with multiple new owners and what not. The girl who works up front with black hair was kicking black people out from left to right. The food is nasty the chips for nachos are stale and the cheese taste burnt, the pizza be cold, and they have an outdated menu some of the stuff they say they serve they DON'T! Me and my family were very unpleased and worst of all they BANNED rap music! Most of the time we were there they played country and watch me whip and nae nae (which they played numerous times before we walked out) if you want to have a FUNtime then dont go to fun time they are boring and will make you also want to write and honest review about this skating rink. #LAMETIME read more

Definitely not worth the money. It used to be fun but now it's really lame because of the new owners. They won't even play rap music because it "starts fights" or whatever. And the music they do play is either too slow or just terrible. I recommend you go to another skating rink :) read more

Very unprofessional! I paid for a package that included 3 large pizzas and drinks and skating for 1-20 guest! "Reserved"! The party was supposed to be from 2:45-3:45. I got there at 2:30! 1st problem they sent me back and forward to a room that was locked and they kept telling me it was unlock! So 2nd problem. No one came in the room to ask us anything. 3rd problem I had to go and ask for the pizza to be sent out at 3:00! 4th problem they sent 2 pizzas at 3:45,and didn't send no drinks. 4:00 finally got the drinks but still missing a pizza and then I got told you only have a little time left in the room! What? I haven't even got a chance to fed the kids i had with me bc you all haven't sent out the 3rd pizza! 5th problem they didn't send no plates or napkins out which was included in the package deal! 6th problem I had kids that wasn't able to sit down and eat bc we got put out of the room. I complained and they treated it as a normal issue. You want believe this but they sent out the 3rd pizza at 5:00! Kids were skating and i didn't even bother to find the ones who didn't eat!
