You can double the entry fee and people will still come if the rides are operational. Unfortunately if these don't get fixed, I fear this place may shut down eventually. Pro tip: Bring your own stick, string, hook (paperclip) and hot dogs to catch the crawdads. And Ask for discounts when making reservations.

Before we were about to give up on our dream venue, Elise thankfully took our call. From our very first conversation, she immediately put us at ease and reassured us that we could absolutely create something beautiful within our budget. She was intentional from the beginning, taking the time to genuinely get to know us--our personalities and preferences--before diving into the planning process. Because of that, every idea she presented felt thoughtful, personal, and curated to who we are as a couple. Throughout the year of planning, Elise was attentive, patient, and a joy to collaborate with. There were many times when she'd proactively suggest ways to stay within budget, even when it meant prioritizing us over her own bottom line. That level of integrity and care speaks volumes about her character. On the day of the wedding, I was stressed and anxious (as many brides are!), but having Elise at my side helped me find a sense of calm. She has this grounding presence that lets you know that everything is under control. Somehow, she managed to greet guests as they arrived, oversee every moving part of the event, and still remain by my side whenever I needed her. There were countless "save-the-day" moments. One that stands out: minutes before walking down the aisle, I was frantically trying to handwrite my typed vows onto notecards, hands shaking and overwhelmed. Out of nowhere, Elise stepped in and told us there was a printer on the property and promptly took care of the situation, thoughtfully printing my vows in index-card format so I didn't have to hold a big piece of paper at the altar. It wasn't until the wedding day itself that I fully realized just how much coordination she and her team had handled behind the scenes. She had even thought of small but meaningful touches, like IV hydration packets for our guests. Throughout the evening, I kept thinking, "Wow, Elise really pulled all of this off." Friends and family told us that it was the most beautifully organized and seamlessly executed wedding they had ever attended. Many also commented how stressful it must have been for my husband and me to plan a wedding of such scale and beauty, and I'd laugh and say, "Not at all--that was all Elise!". We gave her a vision, and she handled the rest! Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives, filled with joy and memories we'll cherish forever. My husband and I are big foodies and our biggest priority was having good food - Elegant Occasions exceeded our expectations in every way. My husband is extremely picky and has never liked the food at any of the weddings he has been to. With Elegant Occasions, not only do they have a vast variety of menus to choose from, but every item we tried was delicious. My husband loved the food and I, to this day, find myself craving our wedding dishes and wish to travel back in time just to enjoy the foods again. To break everything down, they served pre-ceremony fruit waters. Throughout cocktail hour, the staff passed tray appetizers which were all delicious and received so many compliments from all of our guests. We had stuffed mushrooms, a canape, shrimp, and bruschetta. We were busy taking bridal party photos so the staff coming to serve us where we were was life saving! I looked forward to the mushrooms all day long and I was so grateful to be able to eat a bunch. Again, we still receive compliments about the appetizers to this day. For the reception, we had buffet style which was beautifully set up and quite organized for 100 people. We had the chef slicing and serving tri tip and it just elevated the vibe and made it feel so much more luxurious. I can't say enough how tasty the entrees were. They also set out a fruit and vegetable assortment and self serve drink station - everyone was so well fed and there was plenty of food to go around. Truly, I wish I was a guest at our wedding. The food was so memorable. Other than the food, my personal biggest priority was being as stress free as possible. I cannot commend Gina enough for the support and guidance she gave us. We had several meetings where she helped us plan our wedding from decor to timeline and so much more. I had a day-of coordinator but I do feel that Gina was my biggest support. She has been in the business for over 35 years and has helped with over 8,000 weddings so her guidance and experience was much appreciated. She even suggested some decor changes that honestly made everything look much more seamless. About 90% of our decor was done by elegant occasions and it was just so beautiful.
