The beautiful view from the patio.

We happened to find Furnace Street Distillery when we went to the farmers market. They were closed, but it looked so nice that we went back a few days later. The beverages were excellent! Hand crafted with loving care. What a view this place has! I saw a bald eagle flying over the lake and there was a fun band playing live! The food truck out back was excellent!

June 20, 2022. A great surprise at the old Trick Dog location in elberta. A distillery with a beautiful view! I am no judge of the quality of spirits but the owners and staff have put together a dreamy drink menu of product manufactured on site. Beautiful prep of all the cocktails in distinctive glasses and perfect cocktail snob garnish. Really interesting concept and not your typical moonshine slurpy bullshit. My wife had their old fashioned and I had something with bourbon and chili pepper infused... something. Anyway, it is a great drink menu and they also have charcuterie packages although we did not sample this trip. Staff was charming and eager and obviously well trained. The view over Betsy Bay is flawless and they had ample seating but I do believe by July that they will be packed every evening. A great new addition.

What a drink, what a view!

I was so impressed with all of the cocktails I sampled here! Genuinely some of the best drinks I've ever had. Wreckage of your Presence will be haunting me till I can visit again! Do yourself a favor and stop in to enjoy both the scenery and a drink!

Bartenders were helpful and made a perfect Old Fashioned for my wife and a lovely bourbon on the rocks for me.

My party suggested we stick around for dinner too, which I wasn't going to object to. I wasn't surprised to hear that we'd have a 35-minute wait on a Saturday. The staff was very accommodating and offered an empty room upstairs to wait and pass the time with some games. We asked if we could order some cocktails, and luckily the answer was yes. We placed an order with the hostess, and she brought those upstairs. Later, when there was a Shirley Temple spill, staff was gracious and whipped up another drink right away. Hospitality deserves five stars alone. What else deserves five stars? The cocktails of course. I had two "hotties," which were perfect with the wintry weather...and smart thinking. Who really wants a cold drink in January? The menu is simple, and much of the food is locally-sourced (huzzah). I vegetarian-ized the Christmas Dinner pizza, and it needed the saltiness/fatiness of the sausage. Still, I'll give points for creativity. Four stars. I get destination vibes from this spot, and I know I'll need to return in the summer months for the most optimal experience...but I was overall impressed with my winter trip. Five stars for Iron Fish Distillery!

We only ordered a couple non alcoholic drinks and an appetizer called summer gratin which included a blended dip of zucchini, summer squash, tomatoes, onions, seasoning, parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, and served with toasted pita. This was a nice unique dish and the pita chips were phenomenal. The non alcoholic drink called cantaloupe crush was very refreshing. I always love visiting this distillery when in the area.

My husband and I stopped in and were immediately greeted at the front door by a lovely woman who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She walked us through the tasting experience, pointed out the restrooms, and truly set the tone for such a warm and inviting visit. When we made our way to the tasting bar, we were greeted by a wonderful man who was funny, engaging, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He explained each spirit so well and made the tasting experience genuinely fun. Come to find out -- the two people taking such great care of us were the owners! Their hospitality and customer service were exceptional and made the experience feel personal and memorable. And the spirits? Absolutely phenomenal. We ended up leaving with six bottles because everything was that good. This was hands-down one of the best experiences of our entire trip. Highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near the area!

My husband, who favors sweet beverages, or at least today he does... Insisted that the lemoncello was so delicious from his sampling that they brought him a 3 ounce pour and I swear to you it taste like Lemon Pledge mixed with sugar water. Then he got some cream situation. The lemoncello crema. Before I even drink it, I took a with, and it smelled like breastmilk vomit. Straight baby spit up. My friend tells me that my review is truthful, but kind of mean. But I have had four drinks here and they were all kind of gross. We will probably come back tomorrow. I'm gonna go try the horseradish vodka. Maybe that will be better.
