Lemon chiffon and smoked maple old fashioned
    Natalie R.

Hatch was such a fun place to visit! Bright and rustic with loads of goodies to take home with you. We stopped in for honey, tasting glasses, a cocktail mixer and some limoncello but also were intrigued by the drink menu. The staff here was happy to answer questions but still let you have your space to look around. We tried a couple of drinks and the lemon chiffon was a surprisingly yummy drink! I was even pleasantly surprised by the smoked maple old fashioned because it was so well balanced (I've had Old fashioneds in the past that were toooo heavy on the maple)! We're already looking forward to our next trip back to Door County just to visit Hatch again!

We decided to stop by while camping and wow i was so surprised by the amazing high quality cocktails!! I ordered the viking tears and it was absolutely delicious. Our group ordered a variety of cocktails and they were so good. I definitely want to come back so i can try all of them! Service was fast and there is plenty of seating. They also sell some merchandise which is nice and cocktail related mixers etc..

I'd recommend stopping by Hatch Distilling if you're in Door County to try out their drinks, both their spirits and the mead from their Mixed Meadia label. I was only able to stop for a short time so couldn't fully explore their cocktails, but the flight I had took me on a delightful range of flavors to give me a good sense of what they do and prompted me to get a few bottles to take home with me. On the mead side, the Vikings Blood & Honey and Lemon were my two favorites. Hatch has a large parking lot, a cool indoor seating with bar and variety of tables, and a nice patio (that I enjoyed). The bartender was helpful, and patient, as I tried to make the stressful decision of which items to select for my flight. There were more that I wanted to try than what I ended up trying, which is a good problem to have!

Hatch is the spot! Nestled up in Egg Harbor, better known as the Door County corridor, I've found myself at Hatch more than once now. Whenever passing by I pick up some of the good stuff they have. Hatch also serve drinks and provide tastings in their tasting room. They are just that, a tasting room and they only stay open until 6 pm despite being totally slammed with people inside and out. Their focus is on bottle sales, and they aren't a bar. Despite that difference they create some solid handcrafted cocktails from their reserve of delicious, created liquors! Worth a stop if you ever end up in the area!

On a recent family trip to Door County, I had the pleasure to stumble upon this amazing establishment! On our tour up the peninsula, we couldn't help but notice this modern, millenial-focused new build amongst the MANY older, historical looking buildings. Street or lot parking make this easily accessible, with indoor and outdoor patio seating. As a self-proclaimed city dweller, this spot is reminiscent of my favorite spots: modern finishes, craft cocktails, and hip bartenders. They distill a variety of spirits with something for everyone, utilizing local ingredients in their fun cocktails. Our servers were helpful in providing recommendations, offering small talk during drink prep, and quick to make our drinks. The prices are fair for the amount of work and style of cocktail, but might seem steep compared to other local spots BUT well worth the price. We had a variety of drinks during our stay, but I LOVED the Hibisky Old Fashioned, a fun play on the Whiskey Old Fashioned with some hibiscus syrup to balance out the spirit forward drink. My boyfriend doesn't love an Old Fashioned but loved this version. You can't go wrong with this joint, as it provides the perfect escape from all-day shopping on your Door Countt adventure. My only suggestion is to be open past 6pm...as it would be a great evening spot after dinner!

Love Hatch! We stop every time we are in Door County. Delicious drinks and I just wish they had some small plates so we could have a snack, too!

Was up in Door County this weekend with some buddies and we made an impromptu stop at Hatch Distilling. I'd never even heard of it before but am a huge fan now. Super cool place with a wide range of spirits. I ordered a cucumber gin cocktail that was superb. Dangerous drink in that it didn't even taste like booze! I wound up buying a bottle of their honey rum and also their gin. Just made my wife a gin and tonic with the latter and she loved it and thought the gin has a really good, unique taste. The staff was across the board really friendly and on top of things. This place is a winner!

We stopped into Hatch Distilling on whim while driving around Door County. After enjoying lots of local wineries, a distillery was a nice change of pace! I appreciated that they had a parking lot. The space itself was really nice. There was a beautiful patio and lots of indoor seating as well. We opted to sit inside due to the wind. First drink: Pumpkin juice. LOVED IT! This is my ideal fall drink. It was really smooth and not too sweet. Second drink: The Mounties old fashioned. Solid drink! It was smooth and had just the right amount of sweetness from the maple syrup. We had hoped to try the supper club old fashioned, but we wanted to sub bourbon for the brandy (not a big fan of brandy). The bartender said they wouldn't make any modifications to the drinks, which I thought was a little odd. All in all, this was a great find! We'll definitely return when we visit Door County again!

Absolutely phenomenal. I enjoyed this place so much I bought a t-shirt! The cocktails were delicious, but my favorite part was the flight. Such a great way to try a variety of the available liquors/liqueurs.

Cute place with lots of spirits available to purchase. Drinks are around $12. Not a ton of seating but tables are available to sit at.

Decent place, staff wasn't as friendly and helpful as other wineries. Good samples and fun merch.

Do you plan to not allow people all winter since it'll be freezing and snowing out? 25 percent capacity but don't allow anyone inside? How do you plan to keep a business opened?

Hello Heather. Thanks for your series of questions. We have allowed people indoors all season long and will definitely continue to do so during the winter with the expectation of "freezing and snowing". Yes, we are following Wisconsin mandates of… Read more

The food was…read moremostly good, the setting--we sat outside on their deck--is stunning, and the service was good. I was having lunch with my husband and a friend of ours. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos, my husband ordered the Whitefish Tacos, and my friend ordered two appetizers as her meal--the guac and the ceviche. She also ordered a cocktail--I think the margarita (I remember she said she wanted salt). My husband liked his tacos quite a bit, but one odd thing is that the lunches come with either fries or watermelon. As he isn't a watermelon fan, he got the fries, which is the odd thing is having fries with tacos. But as someone who is really picky about her fries, these were very good--fresh and hot. The Ahi Tacos were also very good. For $20, I would've like maybe more than two tacos, but since I ate a lot of his fries, I wasn't starving. And I do realize food prices have not been going down... My friend's guac was fine, but her ceviche was not ceviche. The first time it came out, it was green--it looked exactly like the guac, so she sent it back, explaining that one should be able to see the fish and it shouldn't be green (and she tasted it--whatever it was, it was not ceviche). The second time, it was certainly fish, but it was more like a fish salad, but it did not have the acid in it that one expects in ceviche, as that is what "cooks" the fish. She said it tasted it fine, but just not--yeah, I've said this a bunch--ceviche. Oh, and her cocktail was fine. We will definitely go back next time we're up that way. On a sunny day, it would be gorgeous. Our day was a bit iffy, and we were lucky--we got our bill just as it began to rain, so we were able to duck under the covered bar to settle up, have a brief convo with the bartender, and went downstairs to the Chocolate Chicken to get a piece of chocolate (my husband's and friend's chocolate was fine--I'm a pain in the neck, and I wanted darker chocolate with more pecans!) and wait out the rain.

In the past, we…read morealways visited a different local pizza place (not in Bailey's Harbor), but we need a change--and this was a really great change! They do not take reservations, but since we were there a full week before the 4th, we were able to get a table pretty quickly--even on a Saturday night. They have seating both outside and in--but it was chilly, so we sat inside. The dining room is light and bright, and one can see the water, though, it is an obstructed view--and really, were were there for the pizza. We first ordered the Simple Salad. The salad is really simple, but oh.my.god--the lemon parm dressing was SO GOOD--and I'm not so much a throw-a-ton-of-dressing-on-my-salad kind of person. We had leftover dressing and we took it back to cottage where we stay ("home" for the week). Our server also wrote down the ingredients so I can try and replicate it at home (the actual place where we live). We ordered the organic red sauce + mozzarella pizza and added roasted oyster mushrooms on half and castelvetrano olives on the whole thing. I mention this only because they didn't blink at all with our requests. In fact, they were great about that sort of thing. The first glass wine my server suggested I order, I didn't care for. She just got me a different glass of wine--and that was what we were charged for. More about that pizza--it was SO good. The olives added a nice salt, mushrooms were just perfect in that they provided that sort of meaty, non-meaty taste. Oh, and the crust--good god it was good. Not too thick or thin, dusted a bit with cornmeal on the bottom, light, but good chew. It was just perfect. Oh, and the water dispenser--on the bar, one serves themselves from a tap. They have three different kinds of water--still, sparkling, and one other that I cannot remember. Love that. The services was also, as I mention above, really attentive, but not pushy at all. I only have one suggestion for them. Many of the pizzas have sausage on them. We don't eat pork (not kosher, just appreciate the fact that they're smarter than the dog). It would be nice to have chicken as an option. We definitely visit them again when we're in Door Country again.

I visited this past weekend over the 4th and unfortunately had a really concerning experience with…read morewhat was supposed to be a gluten-free meal. I ordered the gluten-free Rosso pizza and specifically confirmed with my server that I was gluten free. At one point, the kitchen initially brought over my pizza, and when I double checked, they told me it was NOT gluten free. Their team then took it back to the kitchen to remake with a gluten free crust. After that, my dad and fiancé received their regular pizzas while mine took another 30 or so minutes to come out. They eventually stopped eating so I wouldn't have to eat my food alone, and by then their food was cold. There were also several other order issues during the meal, including the wrong salad being brought to our table after another long wait, which is not a huge deal (it was a holiday weekend and they were busy) but it felt like our entire order was miscommunicated. What led me to write this review is I'm quite certain that the "gluten-free" pizza I was ultimately served was not actually gluten free. For the next few days after eating it, I became very sick with symptoms consistent with gluten exposure, and it honestly impacted the remainder of my time in door county. What especially raised concern for me was that our server later sent us home with another gluten-free Rosso pizza as an apology for the wait times and order mix ups, and it looked dramatically different from the pizza I had just been served. The crust, texture, and overall appearance were completely different, which made me increasingly worried I had been served the wrong order. The "gluten free" pizza I had been served (in the image attached) looks identical to my dad's regular pizza (plate behind it) and nothing like the other GF pizza crusts in the reviews. I did notice this when our server finally brought over my pizza however she did confirm it was gluten-free. I understand restaurants get busy especially over holidays and mistakes happen, and I'm not trying to be harsh or accusatory. But for customers with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, this is a serious health issue, not a preference. I really hope the restaurant takes a closer look at its gluten-free procedures and communication between the kitchen and servers, because this experience was really disappointing. Inland also does not have an email posted on their website nor can you leave a message when calling, when I tried to discuss with them directly.
