Just an update that the business has still failed to make this right. They'll call and say that they're gonna get back to me and make it right, just enough to give me hope it'll get fixed. Then silence and never heard from again. I've called and called and called and always get told there's no manager available and they'll call me back. I've been into the store, I'm given the same runaround of "I'm new and can't help but I'll leave your number". Never hear another word from them. They dragged it out long enough making me think they'd fix the problem, so that I could not file anything with my credit card for fraud. Very disappointed in the amount of money I had spent there the last couple years and the amount of money I spent on this couch to have been scammed in this shady dealing with them. read more

My recliner that was purchased at this store a year ago broke almost immediately. They ordered a replacement part that took months to come in then I had to replace it myself as they offer zero customer service. The replacement part broke immediately so they offered to replace the chair. That was over three months ago. They have never called me with an update, the lack of professionalism and customer service is hard to believe. Do not spend your hard earned money with these rip off artists. read more

I would not recommend them to anyone. Don't expect actual warranty coverage. I bought 2 mattresses with 10 year warranties and after 3 months of regular use they had extreme indentations in the mattresses. It's been about 3 months since they came to take measurements and pictures, about 10 phone calls later I've gotten the run around with no response on warranty coverage. Steve who is charge of the follow up has been dodging my calls for months. This place has Garbage products and extremely unprofessional employees . I would not recommend them to anyone. !! read more

Worst customer service EVER!! I ordered a couch, loveseat and ottoman. I was told it would be ordered and I would get it within 6-8 weeks. I called many times with only a few return calls. I called at week 9 and they said they can't get ahold of the manufacturer so I should just come get my refund! WHAT?? I spent so much time picking the colors and style out and was angry! I got there, assuming they would make it up to me. Pete was so rude and never said sorry or anything! He was very rude and short and refunded my money with no appology! I think the service and prices here are Great!! They deliver local for only $10. Wow!! They have very nice delivery men who take the time to set up your furniture for you. They can save you a lot of money by ordering furniture from Ashley's ect. much cheaper than any box office stores. George and his son Steve are very nice to do business with and they back up their products. If you are not happy with your furniture they will gladly work with you or fix a repair. If you see something you like write it down and take it over to them, 99% of the time they will be able to purchase through their warehouse at half the price. I have bought two beds, a "tempurpedic" mattress which turned out to be a huge disappointment & NOT a Tempurpedic at all, it was just a big piece of dense cheap sponge, I also purchased a couch from this place. They all broke within 3 months. Cheap and not sturdy at all! The couches looked nice but were way overpriced for being made of cardboard and cheap plywood and cheap sponge for the cushions. I would NEVER buy furniture from this place again!! What a complete waste of money! Silly me for trying to be thrifty. Guess we do get what we pay for. This furniture is absolute garbage and literally will be before you have it a year. Forget the idea of purchasing here especially if you have kids or pets or any type of active lives. I could of went elsewhere paid a little more and still had my furniture. Now I am back to square one needing to furnish my new home! What a disappointment! read more

This place is great! Go in and talk to them before you ever by furniture at a big box store. They are usually half the price of some of the other furniture stores in Redding. Paid for a a dining room set that took longer then what we were told to get. When it finally showed up the wood table top was severely scratched and 2 of the 4 chairs wood base broke that night. We also picked out a couch set the same day we purchased the dining set. It has been 6 months and we still haven't had our dining set fixed nor our couches. They have no communication whatsoever. We are the ones that have had to call every month just for them to lie to us over and over. First off I want to say this was my first experience buying furniture I'm glad it was here. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name that helped me but it has been a few months since I got my stuff from there, maybe Steve, anyway. I was going from store to store around Redding trying to find some furniture that spoke to me. I wanted something different and unique. I walked in to see a GORGEOUS Victorian style couch and chaise lounge in a cream color and had to have it. Issue for me is I have Pure white walls in my house and the cream color of this couch and my walls it would have been completely lost. He even helped my mom take apart a display bed to take the white sheet to see how much of the couch would be lost with a white background. Ridiculous I know but really had me leave towards the grey one they could order online for me. Terrified to buy something I wasn't able to see in person, I went for it and it was the best decision ever. The same guy that helped me out buying the cough is the same one who delivered it which was awesome. Arrived in Flawless condition and couldn't be happier ! read more

My husband and I ordered a large custom sofa with a "Cuddler" and a matching oversized chair in a material that was in stock.. Also with this sofa we had it upgraded to a Duck Down overlay on the foam. We were told that it would be 6 weeks to complete. Well, after many phone calls and complaints to them asking where our furniture was, we were told that that there were problems caused by an employee in the Redding Furniture 86.. I told him that it was not our problem and we thought we were being more than patient after 5 months! This man really seemed like it was not his problem! How he got to be the Manager of a people related sales business was beyond us. I'd really like to give you all his name but seriously, he probably knows who this is and wouldn't trust that there wouldnt be problems!. He was very rude with us throughout this whole ordeal. I asked him to please not take it out on us because our order (which by the way totaled over $5000) was messed up.. So, a month later we got the call saying we were set for delivery. When we got it, the sofa was as hard as a board. So back again the cushions went to manufacturer. 3 weeks later they brought them back but guess what, they didn't fit the sofa. By now, my husband was livid and the attitude of the manager was appalling. I asked him where was customer service in all this? None of this was our fault!So, finally after 2 more weeks we got our cushions (minus the Duck Down). When we brought it to the managers attention he said he would send us a check! Well, should've known his integrity by now as we never got it.. This whole process took 7 months We had checked out Ashley Furniture as well and the reason we picked this place was because the original manager we had dealt with was so nice and knowledgeable as well as seemed so honest! NEVER BUY FURNITURE HERE!!! The worst experience in buying furniture I have ever experienced. Horrible customer service!!! We ordered couches in June, 2016 and were told it would come in 6-8 weeks. 10 weeks later, no couches. We have called at least 10 times and inquired about when we would get our couches. Many times, we were told they needed to call manufacturer and then get back to us. Only once did we receive a call back. We finally went down to the store and were informed they were struggling getting a hold of the manufacturer and had no idea when we would receive our couches. Pete, one of the employees/owners, showed absolutely no signs of sympathy for our problem. He simply told us to look for another couch or he could give us our money back. I wasn't expecting any free stuff, but maybe throw out an. "I'm sorry". But, not Pete.... He never said sorry or showed any signs of any empathy for me and my wife. I was shocked. I asked for my money back and he did not hesitate to grant my wish. He said our money should be back in our account by Monday. Let us hope????? NEVER BUY FURNITURE HERE!!! read more
