Now comes the "UNETHICAL BRIBERY" from Carmona's. Tuesday March 24, 2026 Carmona's sent a service technician to replace the parts on our washer and dryer. The dryer parts were replaced and during my discussion with "Chris" the service tech we did decide to try less soap in the washing machine and see if it stops the noise before tearing it apart and replacing parts. The following day, I washed a light load and when I went to dry them, the dryer was making the same horrible noise after having the parts replaced. I reached out to the service tech and sent him a video of the dryer, making the horrible noise, even with nothing in the dryer. Because this has been an issue since day one when we bought them, and we have been given the biggest run around and lied to now for 4 months. I requested that we returned the washer and dryer and buy a different brand (speed Queen). I just want a working washer and dryer!!!! Thursday March 26, 2026 Lewis Chuck, who sold me the washer and dryer called and offered to give us $1200.00 for the new set we just paid $2216.75 for! In return, we return the washer, dryer, pedestals. *PLUS!!! LEWIS TOLD ME, "YOU ALSO HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR YELP REVIEW".******** I told Lewis we were NOT going to accept $1200.00 for a defective washer and dryer we paid $2216.75 for. What "really upset me" is, I felt like I was being bribed into removing my "HONEST YELP REVIEW" and "UPDATES". Bribery is illegal!!! When removing a review on Yelp, Yelp asks, "if you were offered a refund or other compensation to remove this review". In a world with so much corruption. I REFUSE to be a part of it!!!! I bought a safe from Liberty Safe back in August. Carmona's is the delivery agent for them locally. My safe was intended to be delivered this past Friday, but, Carmona's dropped the safe while loading it and ruined it. When they called, I said to just refund my money. Carmona's won't (can't?) because I bought it directly from Liberty. Liberty is now telling me that I need to work with Carmona's. Not only has this been a totally substandard experience, no phone calls, no return calls about my inquiries, no information about ANYTHING from either company. But now I apparently have to go the route of posting 1 star reviews on every platform I can find for BOTH companies to get some of these lazy ass people to take care of the problem they created and refuse to take accountability for. I would caution ANYONE from any purchase or delivery aspect from Carmona's. They absolutely like to just pass the buck on their failings and won't actually take care of a customer service issue. A very professional service & repair gentleman named Doug came today from Carmona's to repair our dryer. He was very respectful, obviously very knowledgable and experienced, and shockingly efficient, besides refusing to step into our house without wearing shoe covers, env when I told him he didn't need to. He had our dryer disassembled all the way to having the drum out, stepped out to his truck to get parts, and had the whole thing put back together in no time. Do not shop here! I purchased a $4500 thermador range and hood combo on 3/1 because I was told it would only be 2 weeks for the hood to come in. Two weeks come and go, no call. I call THEM at the end of 3 weeks and was told 'Wed or Thurs by the latest.' I was told Jeff W, my "salesman" would follow up as well. Saturday rolls around, still no call, so I have to CALL THEM AGAIN, only to be told 'it'll be here 4/9.' Not even to my house, delivered to THEM on 4/9. Last I checked 4/9 is more than 5 weeks, not 2, from 3/1. I demanded my money back because of their BS answers and lack of accountability. They tried to tell me they'd talk to the owner on Tuesday. Service guy wasn't even at my house 5 min before he tells me he can't run lines that far blah blah blah... he then says he's gonna go outside and make a phone call. See what he can do he comes back and doesn't say nothing and starts taking the dishwasher apart tells me he run back to his store. I will upload a photo of how he left my house while he took 30 minutes or more to go back to his store to get parts very very unprofessional, and then he was having such difficulties or putting the new dishwasher in that he had to use my bowls without asking all I have to say is if you want professional I would never use them. I was going to purchase a Traeger, so I went into Carmona's to look around. There were four or five employees sitting/standing at a central counter area. After about 15 minutes with nobody coming over to help or ask what I needed I made eye contact with a couple of them and they basically just looked away and continued ignoring me. My refrigerator went out on Christmas Eve. Victor in sales came up with a plan that would get me a refrigerator the same day. I went around to Lowe's and Home Depot; their staff was a little slow on customer service. Victor at Carmona's went above and beyond. I was able to find a refrigerator at a very reasonable price and take it home the same day. The installer came the day after Christmas to move the fridge into the house and he was professional and very helpful. They shouldn't make promises they cannot keep. On December 10th, 2024 we ordered a GE Profile Microwave for which we paid $367. We were told it would be received from the manufacturer in 14 days, that it would be delivered and installed very soon after they receive it, and that the microwave is an American product, made domestically. By January 21, 2025 our microwave still had not been received from the manufacturer. When we called Carmona's this morning, Wyatt, the salesperson, informed us that it would be another two weeks before they would receive the appliance at which time they would call us to schedule installation. We were promised our appliance in 2 weeks. It is now 8 weeks. This is terrible service. Absolutely awful. Service at this establishment is NON EXISTENT. Once we receive communication from them again and receive our microwave, I will update this review with relevant information. I had a great experience buying a washer and dryer after my 23 year old unit finally crashed, not a high ticket purchase but Chris the sales guy was knowledgeable and on his game. I shopped around and had a pretty good idea on what I was willing to pay. Chris met every competitive price I mentioned. He had it delivered and installed 2 days later. When Jacob the tech and driver comes to deliver and tells you your venting hose should be replaced and when time those braided water lines should be replaced listen to him. I took him up on the venting hose which was superior/thicker quality to anything I could have purchased. But I felt I could get a less expensive braided water line at Home Depot so I passed. Well I was wrong, The 5 foot braided line at Home Depot is $35.88 plus tax. read more

I'm leaving this review to hopefully save you from a terrible experience! Carmon's used to have a great reputation but recently they seem to have forgotten what customer service is. I ordered a Samsung refrigerator in November it was a black stainless refrigerator... I wasn't home when it was delivered and my husband didn't realize that they had delivered the stainless refrigerator not the black stainless ... when I called them to tell them this was the wrong color they looked into it and realized they had mixed up the deliveries and made a mistake and had delivered mine to another customer. They assured me that they would order me another one and it would be in, in a couple weeks... I waited the couple weeks and called to see when the new refrigerator would be in, they looked into it and said they were really sorry but that refrigerator was now discontinued... they offered me to come in to the store to pick another one out but unfortunately they didn't have anything in black stainless to match my stove that I had also bought from them. So I ended up deciding to order a different Samsung model that was more expensive and again waited another few weeks for that delivery. When I called again to check on it they informed me that there was one that had just arrived at their store but it was going to another customer. By the way, that customer had ordered that fridge AFTER my original order... I informed them that it would be the right thing to do to give me that refrigerator and they agreed... we set up a delivery time for later that week... when the day came for my delivery I called to see what time they would arrive and was informed that they had changed their mind and was going to give it to the other customer but had ANOTHER one on order and it would be a few more weeks .. I waited again a few more weeks and finally the fridge came in... The delivery men came, took the doors off my current frig, took it out of the home and brought in the new one, upon installing the doors to the new one they broke the door.. so back in comes the old frig but this time the doors are dented and the shelves are scratched from them just throwing the doors and the shelves into their truck... They inform me that they'll order a new one and that one will be in,.. in a few weeks! I call a few weeks later and this time they tell me that THAT refrigerator has been discontinued as well! Ugh, what is happening here... let me note, the management was rude all the way through... as if I was the problem ...they treated me like I was annoying and bothersome ... I had to chase them anytime I wondered when the fridge might come in. Finally my husband talked me into just keeping the original refrigerator in stainless, not black stainless since it really wasn't worth the hassle anymore... except the fact that this refrigerator was all banged up now due to the delivery guys throwing it in his truck... so I called them and said just reorder the original frig in stainless since they Samsung still had the stainless in stock ... they reordered it and a few weeks later it finally came in... Fast forward to yesterday.. I get a bill in the mail for 288.00$ When I call to ask them why I would be getting a bill they said " you reordered the upgrade" I had to remind them that, that refrigerator was discontinued The incompetency of this company is on another level ... I've asked to speak with the owner multiple times and was told that he refused to talk to me... I am a reasonable person and only wanted to have a discussion with him but instead he had the manger call me... the manager is patronizing and clearly threatened by women.. he's got a power trip problem and is simply rude. I will never order a single thing from this company ever again. I hope this review saves you from going through what I went through... The management at this store is awful. They do not stand behind their products and seem happy to leave the customer high and dry once they complete their sale. The actual workers and service staff were great but their hands are tied by terrible managers. The manager I dealt with did not want to assist me with warranty work and told me I'd have to deal with Whirlpool directly on my refrigerator issues if their service department were unable to fix my refrigerator issue. We purchased Fulgor Appliances. Both the refrigerator and range have broken down over the last year. Our range has been out of service since July. After being told Covid was responsible and then the parts were not available, I contacted Fulgor directly. Even though a hurricane hit their location in Florida, the parts were sent October 3 and received by Carmona's on October 5. Still nothing from Carmonas in spite of being given the tracking number, name of signer and promises of having a supervisor call us back. It is now November 2, and still nothing. The level of service we've received here is pretty unbelievable. It seems like no one actually works there. At least, not ever the person who can actually help you. Last week, we paid for 2 parts for our dryer. One was in and the other had to be ordered and they said next week. So today my husband calls to see if it's in and a very rude lady on the phone said it was "probably" in a box in the back but she didn't know. When my husband asked her to clarify why she couldn't go check in the box, she said that the shipping manager wasn't there and it might be 2-3 weeks before that particular box was opened. Up until a $3700 purchase at Carmona's 2 years ago, I had shopped here for every appliance need to the tune of about $8000 in the last 6 years. I replaced a 25 year old KitchenAid micro/oven combo with a new KitchenAid Stainless Steel micro/oven combo and within 2 years, the microwave piece has issues that will cost in the hundreds to repair. 2 years old mind you and Carmona's WILL NOT stand behind us to go against Whirlpool/KitchenAid to remedy the problem. We have a lemon product here but since Carmona's made a sale and have been paid, why care about us as their customer. We don't trust using the unit because of electrical issues that may prevent a larger hazard. We are waiting to be scheduled for a repairman and then will find out costs for repair. In the mean time KitchenAid wants to have a history of current and future repairs to justify a replacement because of a defective product. Customers beware and shop around. I've made my last sale here because they have changed and classified me as a number and not a customer. One year warranty on our unit didn't help at all with a 13th month failure. read more

Emails work best on multiple levels but this gets you several rounds of communication with Carmona's as each time you have to tell them their price isn't cutting it. First they will give you list price. Then you have to remind them to match the big box chain price, as they advertise, which they will come back with but with delivery added. Then you need to contact them again to say the big box stores include delivery in their price. This is not a single incident. I ordered new gaskets for my Fridge on 12-27-2022 and am scheduled for them to be installed 2-21-2022. It took three weeks from the time I scheduled service for them to actually come out. When I first made the appointment I was not having a problem - only looked like they needed to be replaced. Now 1-26-22 I see some discoloration on the outside of the door that I am not sure can be repaired. We have purchased many appliances from Carmonas over the years and the last two appliances we purchased was a brand new LG refrigerator and Maytag washer. We are currently having issues with both appliances. On their web site they have an option to text them and they will text you back, but after 45 minutes of waiting I decided to just call and surprisingly they picked up right away. I asked for a service call and they are booked out until the middle of July. Why would you ever sell appliances if you cannot service them. Following the Carr fire, almost 5 years ago, Carmona's outfitted our entire household with appliances; fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer and barbecue. There were a couple of operational issues with the refrigerator but without hesitation, a technician was dispatched and resolved the problem. Last evening after grilling some chicken on the Weber, a plastic knob for the burner control broke. When I went in to the store to see about a replacement, Lewis asked me to hold tight. Going right down the middle with this one. They have a very wide selection. Everything from basic appliances to the very high end stuff. The sales staff are very friendly as well. We were moving in and needed a refrigerator, washer and dryer fairly quickly so they checked the warehouse and walked us through what they had in stock. When the refrigerator showed up it would not open properly due to a support beam next to it so the delivery guys took it right back and one of them suggested exactly the type of side by side we would need to get. When we went back that afternoon to pick one out the sales guy was very patient with us and the delivery guy who had dealt with us earlier in the day came out to explain to him what we needed. That being said, my elderly in laws purchased a Dacor refrigerator from them (not cheap) and within a month the ice maker and water dispenser were not working. They called Carmona's and a repair guy was sent out who said he needed some parts and would order them. Fast forward several months and the unit still wasn't fixed and it seemed every time they called the store they got the run around. These are people who purchased all of their high end kitchen appliances from Carmona's several years ago when they built their home. No way it takes that long to get replacement parts and frankly if it did they should have just offered to replace the unit, especially considering what they paid for it. In the interim I was making ice for them in my ice machine and bringing it to them to make sure the parents would not have to make trips to get ice as it gets HOT here in Redding in the summertime. Any time I mention Carmona's to locals here I get a story about how bad they are at servicing after the sale. So sounds like they can do better. read more

I came by to look at Dishwashers and to possibly look for a part for my current dishwasher to see what the best option was and the lady at the front said hi, after I approached her with a question. But nothing when I first walked in. Okay, well, whatever. But then I went to talk to service and one lady was on the phone. The other wasn't, and there were 2 women behind them at desks. Not one person even looked at me or said anything. I stood there for 15 minutes and finally was able to talk to the lady who was on the phone. I asked her if the part was faulty and didn't work.
