Had to buy some IKEA furniture for my new Work From Home and Home PC stream station because of the new Virus Restrictions made it impossible for me to do both from the desk...plus I was due for an upgrade. I couldn't find a good assembler on Yelp but Googled IKEA furniture assembly and this company popped up. I suppose on Yelp advertisers are burying this hidden Gem. I was going to assemble the furniture myself to save money but I realize during these trying times people are probably looking for work and this helps them out. Plus the Price was the most reasonable of all! For instance if you used Task Rabbit which is outsourced by IKEA directly it was quoted as a 6 hr job at a much higher cost. But Worx was able to assemble 4 Alex Drawers in around one hour and also install a stability leg and wire management system in another 30 minutes. They were very kind and even pointed out imperfections of the material as I worked and suggested calling IKEA to get replacements if I desire if it starts to wear out in the 365 warranty. They also informed me I bought too much because I bought two IKEA stability legs just in case and that was amazing for their foresight. In total the job for 4 Alex Drawers, Installing a cable management tray, installing a stability leg, and placing the furniture in the orientation I want cost only 150 USD and I offered a 50 dollar tip. It was almost 1/3 more for that from other furniture assemblers and IKEA's task rabbit itself. I'll post pictures after I post this review but I can't recommend them highly enough Cheers! read more

Recently used this company to assemble Two large chairs and one large outdoor storage shed. From day one of inquiring about their service and pricing, Tony was responding immediately answering all of my questions. I immediately booked an appointment for which Tony confirmed. When I reached out for additional questions, he was quick to respond. On appointment day, the installers showed up right on time and could not have been more professional and knowledgeable. They immediately got to work and assembled everything in perfect working order. So thankful to have found Assembly Worx. My S.O. from I and I bought a bed frame with drawers from hell from IKEA ( The BRIMNES bed frame). We thought we could assemble it ourselves, but little did we know that it comes with a ridiculous amount of parts. I called Assembly Worx the next day and they answered and were able to send out someone the same day. I talked to Tony on the phone. The person who assembled our bed was also named Tony, but not the one who I spoke to on the phone. Tony was professional and efficient. A bed frame that I read that took most people 9+ hours to assemble took Tony only 3 hours. I also felt comfortable having Tony in our apartment and he helped clean up the mess afterwards. Tony also assembled a table and two chairs for us in less than an hour. FYI I think this company might be run by Asians. I thought it was kind of refreshing and cool to see such positive representation in a an unlikely field. I expressed concern the day before, cause I had quite a bit of furniture to assemble and doubted their ability to get it all done within a day. I definitely underestimated their skills! I purchased 2 cabinets from IKEA, fully intending to assemble them, as I always have for our DIY furniture, bookcases, etc. There were also 5 drawers, kick panel, decorative panels, doors, handles, etc. Usually, I just tough it out and load the stuff and carry it home. But, getting smarter in my old age, I opted this time for IKEA to deliver. As a result, I had no idea how much "stuff" there was for two cabinets, 1- 30" and 1- 24". WOW, 20 - 30 boxes of varying sizes plus a 2' x 3' tote full of miscellaneous stuff. WOW, 2 - 300 pounds of frustration; I knew that I was no match for this project! So, since IKEA had offered "setup" at purchase, I called them. After 20 - 30 minutes of runaround, I was told that "setup" was not possible after the sale. Now what? Google, of course, and I'll save you the effort... AssemblyWorx, and, specifically, Tony, was helpful from the first contact and even better in person! A quick quote based on my IKEA invoice, appointment time and he showed up as scheduled! A little less than 4 hours later our cabinets were installed, anchored to the wall and looked and worked great! The best characteristics I would use to describe the service: affordable, responsive, reliable, professional. The only bad thing I have to say about Assembly Worx is that they weren't already posted on Yelp, this I can't believe. I believe I had initially googled "Ikea Furniture Assembly" and found them, I had several pieces of Ikea furniture (table, chairs, couch, tv stand, dressers) and there was basically no way I was going to assemble everything myself. Tony was SUPER responsive, as opposed to the official 3rd party Ikea contractor who took days to respond to my initial inquiry. I was a bit timid as Assembly Worx wasn't the approved but figured for the price I couldn't go wrong, I was sure they would do a better, quicker job than I could plus had guaranteed if anything went wrong in 90 days they would come back out (that didn't void the Ikea warranty). The assembly took under an hour, was really professional and he helped explain all the tidbits that I should be aware of when taking care of the furniture. I mean honestly, I still can't believe no one has written about this before... I was not impressed with Ikea and their slow service and delivery of the furniture and so can't thank you (tony) enough for helping make the rest of the job a breeze. We go back beyond the oldest review here and up to this month. We used Anthony before Assembly Worx was formed. He and his girlfriend before she was his wife and long before a baby. To the best of my memory we've had a desk and file cabinet, an entertainment stand, another desk, another file, another entertainment stand assembled and most recently a medicine cabinet hung and assembled.
