I would not recommend Elite Handyman. It felt like they were holding me hostage just to get a basic estimate--they charged $50 for it, which you lose if you decide not to hire them. I've had three other glass companies come out and provide free estimates without any issues. I've never encountered a business that charges for an estimate and shows such a poor attitude. Why four stars and not five? I'll explain. We had four basic things done, mount TV on brick fireplace, hang picture, Fix drywall and paint in 2 bathrooms. The picture was hung with ease; centered, beautiful. They fixed the drywall in both bathrooms. They did a terrific job--they being Jeremy, Jesse and Brevan. Painting and drywall look really good--as good or better than original! When they finished mounting the TV, which they centered well, Jeremy told me I'd have to find a thinner plug for my Fire Stick because that plug was too thick and would not fit. Here's the thing--now I have to go problem solve this myself, then have the wife help me lift off and on the TV. They should have measured to mount it so the plug would fit. So I am not pleased with having my wife have to do some heavy lifting as well as extra time spent. Hence the 4-stars. Would I use them again? Probably. TLDR: Not trustworthy. I do NOT recommend using this company. Save yourself the hassle and time and find a different company. [[HIGHLIGHT]]0/10 customer service from Emmanuel the owner & Jesse F.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Photos of text threads included so that Emmanuel (Owner) cannot claim that I'm being untruthful. I was given a quote by Jesse F. to have my kitchen cabinets rehung due to them pulling away from the walls. I had 5 cabinets that needed to be rehung. It appeared to me that in the contract they had misquoted me. It stated that they were only going to rehang one of the cabinets. This concerned me, so I reached out to confirm that this was a typo and that they would address all the cabinets that needed attention as I had originally explained to them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I got a response at noon the following day which was simply an updated contract with a price increase because "they miscounted originally and did not review all of the photos and messages I sent".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The incorrect line item (1) cabinet was not changed either. The only change in the whole contract was the price. The job size increased 20% from what they claim to have originally quoted me, however, the price of the overall job increased by 40%. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked where this number came from and how they calculated job totals and I did not get any good answers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From my perspective, it appears that they decided to increase the price of the overall job due to me asking a question about the typo on the first contract. And on top of that, they increased it by a markedly higher percentage. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Emmanuel the owner is claiming that I did not submit photos of all areas needing repair (this is false and I have the records to prove it).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also recorded the phone call I made with Jesse F. where he admitted that this was an in house error between himself and the estimator. I would love to believe that was the case, but the line items did not change. Only the price went up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Emmanuel the owner did not help at all once I explained the situation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What he did do was offer this job on an hourly rate, which likely would have cost EVEN MORE money. I personally am a self employed contractor. If I ever gave someone the wrong price (especially if it's only off by $200), I would personally eat that $200 as a business owner to keep my customers happy and also in the hopes of repeat or word of mouth business. My pier & beam home was built in 1935. We discovered a leak at the kitchen sink drain in the exterior wall. It leaked for years until the floor sank down. This caused years of water damage to occurr without my wife and I knowing about it. Floor tiles had to be removed without damage. Four (4) floor joise had to be removed and replaced. The exterior wall at the base had to be rebuilt along with the bottom plate. My Home Depot cabinets..3 of then were ruined. Particle board just crumbled...it was a mess. Lucky for me I called Emanuel with Elite Handyman Service & Remodeling. His Top Knotch employees Angel, Ricardo and Juan showed up and flat out got after it for five days. Holy Cow removing the old floor joise and replacing with new ones was a job. Regarding....Angel the Lead Tehc,. wow ! ..he is a Master Tradesman and can do anything. Now I need three matching cabinets built asap!!!! Elite in order to expedite the job (thank u) called "The Tools Handyman" owned by Mr. Guillermo Ruiz. He was on my driveway unless than 24 hours. Cabinets were built on the spot with real wood. We were able to save the faces of the damaged cabinets and used them They turned out excellent. True craftsmanship. Thank you Sir. Granit countertops with sink were removed and replaced without damage. Copper soldering..cast iron repairs...all .done...Holy Cow Also had an attic access door installed !!! The scope of the job was huge with allot of unknowns. Elite Handyman & Remodeling did the job in FIVE (5) days. Finished...no leaks....My wife and I are Extremely pleased with their work. I was very impressed with Emmanuel and his crew at Elite Handyman and Remodleing. It is very difficult to find skilled, honest, reliable workmen these days, but these guys were tops. We need some painting indoor and out, as well as sheetrock repair in one room and minor wall corner repair in another. In addition, he sent me an electrician who was also fantastic. Their prices were very reasonable in fact Emannuel had originally estimated three men to do the job but when he arrived, he said it would only take two. They worked almost all day and Emmauel without my asking reduced his original quote by one third (unheard of). They will be making some outdoor door installs for items I ordered which will include staining, sealing and mounting with hardware. Immanuel's crews are amazing!! I had them first come out to repair drywall and baseboards in a challenging spot in our garage. It was a flawless job and the crew was very professional. We had them back out for a 4 day interior job, including painting ceilings, walls, trim, and doors, as well as a bathroom remodel. They completely removed our old tile shower and pan, added a new custom partial wall, then water proofed the inside of the shower to prep it for a cultured marble company. I previously hired a random home depot "professional" who got paint on my wood floors when he did the baseboards, left streaks on my doors and trim, and did not do any caulking at all. Imagine my surprise and relief when the Elite Handyman crew showed up and spent the entire first day meticulously prepping for paint!! All flooring was covered with multiple layers for protection, holes were filled in, cracks and corners were caulked, etc. I have had 2 different crews here for the jobs and both were clean, respectful, professional, and very skilled. 11/10 recommend!!! read more

I was put into a time-pressured situation by my lender as I am preparing to close on a house. I had to hire a contractor to repair wood rot in order for my lender to approve me to get to my closing.
