The Furniture Fixxers did an excellent job of repairing the leg of my dining room table. The leg broke in pieces when we tried to move the table. Peter at the Furniture Fixer used an epoxy mixture to fill in the missing pieces of the leg. He then shaped it to exactly match the original shape. He stained and varished the repaired section to exactly match the rest of the leg. When he finished, the leg was perfect. The experts at the Furniture Fixxers are truly accomplished craftsmen. Wow! A week later and we are still amazed at how our bedroom set came out. PJ & Hector did and incredible job on refinishing our 20 year old furniture. He also came in at the low end of his estimate (nice surprise) and was finished faster than we expected as well. We were referred by a friend of a friend that also had a good experience here. It did start out bumpy playing a lot of phone tag. They are understandably busy in this time & age and at times we weren't certain if they were interested in our job. If you have this situation please push through because once we met them in person they were the nicest & most accommodating people you would want to meet! So Impressed!!! Went in to get a table repaired & then decided we wanted to change the color to match some chairs I just bought. I called to see about getting a leather recliner fixed. The leg rest won't go down despite tugging on the handle at various angles. Just won't budge. So I called Joe asking if he could fix it. He said sure he's happy to but suggested I try tilting the thing on it's back and seeing if it's just missing a screw or a rivet's popped off or something. Said this can often be the case and didn't want to charge us $85 or so to fix it if it's something simple I can do at home. How many businesses will do this these days? I told him he is now my forever repair man. If you need anything fixed call up Joe. We need more people like him in the world! read more

During a cross-country move, the sleeve where our dining room table legs mount to the table were broken. This table has been in my family for about 25 years, so I really didn't want to scrap it. I had gone to Home Depot to try to find anything that would work as a replacement. No luck. I called PJ and he told me to bring it in. He took and look and told me he should be able to find a replacement. Few days later, I have my table back and it is better than new. The legs are now very sturdy. Called this company to make an appointment. They never called to schedule and i had to call back to follow up. I spoke wtih Peter who was super rude and said they were behind 2 months . I do not recommend them at all. My wife recently acquired a cedar chest from a relative that had been her mother's. She was very happy to get it because of sentimental value. These dudes are MIRACLE workers.....had them repair an antique smoking stand that belonged to my Great Grandfather (a family heirloom that had seen better days.....a LOT of MUCH better days.....) and I was absolutely blown away, which is no easy task. It was in rough shape as far as the finish, the copper sheet on the interior was warped and damaged, joints we wonky......it needed a complete overhaul. When I picked it up, I was shocked. The finish looked like BUTTER, what a beautiful job....not to mention they fixed all the joints, the interior etc and MATCHED the original finish, so it was literally how it probably looked the day it came home. On top of all that, they're the nicest guys, even updated me and kept in communication with me while they were on vacation camping and gave me no guff about lagging for several weeks and not showing up a few times to drop off due to work.....I would absolutely trust them with anything I needed repaired.
