My experience here was the best. Jayson was knowledgeable and professional. He was able to purchase a sectional that another furniture store built which saved me $600. He also mentioned I could purchase the battery operated cables from Amazon instead of the furniture store yet saving me even more money. Everything was so easy. Looking forward to getting my couch on Tuesday. The one thing I told Jayson was I was impressed that if I called him and left him a message he called back right away. One time he texted me and said he was on vacation could he call me when he got back to the office. You just don't find that kind of service anymore. read more

It's hit or miss at Furniture Kingdom. For the most part they sell clearance or lower end stuff. Sometimes you and find a good deal here with last years stock. Large show room, larger than most is what they have going for them. read more

I purchased 2 pieces of furniture yesterday. Looks beautiful sit's great but when you recline it is almost impossible to get the foot rest down. I actually had to climb out of the seat and kick it to get it to close. I really liked the furniture and I should have been more careful when I purchased it. I called the store this morning to see if there was a catch or trick to getting the foot rest to go down. The man I spoke with only said "you have to kick it harder". I'm an older woman and it is not reasonable for me to climb out of the chair every time I recline or to kick it closed. Very disappointed customer. Any thoughts? read more

Second up on the dinette set adventure was this place that has had a series of nutty cheezy local TV ads with a crown and unnecessary small children. The design quality of the furniture was as tacky as the commercials. That said, they had some crazy oddball pieces that I might but for a bar or similar. We didn't stay long... on balance, it was entertaining. read more

I have brought furniture from them before the Sofa was good quality and a dresser and night stand also a dinning room table and chairs. Unfortunately I did lose some of the furniture when I had to move and was in the VA Hospital I need a new sofa the one I have now is not comfortable as the one I had from them. Horrible experience. The salesman was very nice but the owner was so rude to us even though we were spending over 1500.00 We were told that the couch we were buying was excellent and would last, but within a year it began to peel everywhere. When we went back to discuss the issue with them, they just said it wasn't their problem and we shouldn't have bought a durabond couch. I only wish they had told us not to buy the durabond couch at the time of purchase. Their honesty would have been greatly appreciated because we would still have bought a couch from that salesman for the same value, but now I'm stuck with a couch that has completely shredded and has broken reclining mechanisms as well. I can't afford to buy another couch and have to spend everyday vacuuming up fake leather particles from all over the floor. Thanks Furniture kingdom. read more

I have 2 separate reviews for the 2 Furniture Kingdom stores. This one is for the F.K. adjacent to Hungry Howie's. I walked in there today with cash in my pocket and the desire to buy a new sofa. I live about an hour away so I needed to use the restroom. I walked in and saw only one guy at the desk. I asked if I could use the restroom real quick and he said, "No, it is out of order at this time. When I need to go I walk to the other store." Not knowing there was another store close by I though that was odd. So I left and used the facilities at Hungry Howie's. I waited 5 minutes for a friend to meet me there. When she arrived I went back into the store, the same guy came over and said, "You can use the restroom now I thought you were a street person as they come in here a lot." I replied in a nasty tone, "you think I'm a street person??" I'm wearing a new T-shirt, new sneakers, and my cargo shorts and hat were not tattered or nasty. I said a few more choice words on the way out. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a salesman in my life. Although I didn't want to, my friend talked me into going to the other store behind the Furniture Country store... I found a great deal there with nice salesmen. Even if you pull up to the store in a nice Jeep beware of being a "Street Person!" Okay, the second review is 4 stars great service and very nice sofa... Time will tell.. read more

We had a really bad experience at Furniture Kingdom. The sales associate was perfectly nice, but said our headboard would be in "in about a week"...that was almost two weeks ago. Husband called one 9 days later (on a Monday) and asked when he could pick it up...the sales associate said he didn't think it would be there until Thursday...which is 12 days after it was ordered. Husband asked for free delivery bc of the delay...the sales person asked, but the mgmt said NO. So, my husband decided to just cancel the order. Sales person called back about 15 minutes later and said they would have it Thursday and would deliver it free. It did get here today (Thursday) as promised, but on the packing slip it had a great big "DO NOT SET UP" underlined three times and in green highlighter. It's literally the LEAST they could have done to appease us. We're not going back. read more

I went in to this store on a Friday evening with my daughter and we had only made it 15 feet inside of store to the right side and I heard what I thought was an adult movie playing and luckily my daughter is still just a baby and was asleep in stroller. I went back to the front door of store then went straight past the stores office/counter and there was two men watching this adult video on a computer and they had just made obscene noise when they then saw me and turned computer off. The older man with a mustache came to see if I needed assistance and I quickly said no that I was just looking. He went back to his office area and was laughing with another younger man that was still sitting at computer and sounded like he had an accent. The quality of furniture in store was same as store called Sticks & Stuff but with the vulgar things that I had already heard and noise from the workers it was enough that I have NO DESIRE to ever return again in the future. I'm not sure if this is a Franchise store but I hope that the owner is of higher standards than the two men that were working that night! I was looking for a dining & bedroom set and had forgotten about what had happened to me on my one visit to this store till I just saw a TV add on local channel. read more
