Mattress Warehouse has shady business practices…read more I bought a mattress from their website and paid with credit card. My first warning something was not right was that they don't tell you when mattress will arrive until AFTER you purchase it. I bought on Dec. 2nd and in the email received after purchase they said it would be delivered on Jan. 2nd "subject to change based on availability". Well I'd expected only a day or two but it was during the holiday season so fair enough. Jan. 2nd came and went and when I looked online at their Track My Order link it said "Order Placed" but still doesn't indicate it's Scheduled or Completed. I wait a few more days then I email them- no response. A week later email again- no response. At this point realize they have no intention of completing the order. I had bought a good quality interspring mattress but it was their least expensive one and didn't pay for anything extra and I used their 10% off coupon. So probably the thing to do was call their phone number and have them refund me but I have hearing issues and difficulty understanding people on the phone. Which is why I bought online to begin with. And realizing it was a scam all along decided to wait for a full month go by and do a credit card chargeback. Hopefully if they get enough chargebacks they will change their scammy ways. Chargeback done. My credit card company refunded me. Never heard a thing from the company- no apology, no explanation, nothing. The mattress I purchased is still available on their site at the same price. When I look today months later the Track My Order site still says "Order Status: In Process" and "Order Placed". Watch your back when dealing with this company. Or better yet just find another mattress seller. Note they also sell under the name Sleep Outfitters.

He made finding a new mattress extremely easy for me, seeing as I had moved an hour and a half away. Setting up delivery and getting emailed the receipt was so convenient. My warranty was also for a queen sized mattress but had already purchased a new queen sized mattress while waiting for the results of the warranty but was getting read to transition my 2 year old to a new bed so they allowed me to switch to a twin sized mattress and box spring set which was absolutely amazing. they really seem to care about customer satisfaction. We are beyond happy with our experience with the mattress factory and the store manager John at the langhorne, pa location.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Safety Concerns…read more I visited The Mattress Factory about a month ago after speaking with Andres Ramos, Executive Vice President/GM, who recommended I visit the Oxford Valley showroom to experience the mattresses in person. At the showroom, Ron Stone assisted us for over an hour. He was very personable and thorough, and I clearly informed him multiple times that I have a high king bed. When delivery arrived, the box springs were so high that my bed was dangerously close to my ceiling fan. The delivery men were excellent -- by far the best part of this experience. They immediately recognized the issue, explained that the box springs were incorrect, and contacted Ron Stone on my behalf. Ron Stone called me later that evening, but his demeanor was completely different from our showroom interaction. He stated that the correct box springs would need to be ordered. I was supposed to receive them two weeks ago. Then Bob, the store manager, called to say they hadn't come in and I'd need to wait another two weeks. This week I was told the items were finally in and they were delivered today -- and they are still incorrect. Because my bed has a center support board, these box springs are not appropriate and could damage the mattress. I've already been at risk for a fall for over a month due to how high the bed was. I'm very tall and also have a bad hip, which made this situation especially unsafe. Additionally, I had requested that the bed downstairs be adjusted because it was also too high. Again, the delivery technician (Pete -- very kind and professional) tried to help, but the legs were broken and could not be adjusted. At this point, I am still waiting for a proper resolution. I have contacted multiple people at the company and currently have a call out to Chris, who I was told is the owner. I came in early, over a month ago, specifically to have everything resolved before my children arrived for the holidays. Today is December 19th, and I am still dealing with unresolved issues . I truly hope I can update this review with a positive resolution. As of now, however, I would not recommend The Mattress Factory to others based on this experience.

I have spoken to him every other week (when he decides to answer me) since then and every time we speak he tells me the replacement mattress will be delivered by this Saturday. Well - it is now JANUARY 16th 2019 and Joe has stopped answering my calls/texts and we still have a mattress with a big hole in the middle. LESSON LEARNED - certainly will never be buying from this place again. Frankly, I can't tell you if a "Paco Geppetto" or "Geezus of Nazareth" brand couch is better or worse than the inventory carried in their mainline store but to my eyes and especially, my derriere, they felt pretty good. Perhaps the Sultan of Brunei may have some quality issues but seeing as the two of us will never be confused, I can live with a reasonable compromise or two. And frankly, the pieces weren't self-destructing before my eyes like they do at a discount schlock-meister like Bob's.
