I've dumped a ton of bread in this store and have generally had a good to excellent experience. But if you want to peeve me out deliver me to a sales person that is so high pressure he must moonlight as an auctioneer or carnival barker. All I want is a 30 inch flat screen for an extra bedroom and this cat just won't STFU, alerting me to deals on mattresses and appliances on full blast that are not remotely on my radar. Like I said, I try to frequent businesses that have treated me right but now I know why people go to Walmart and snag a $200 TV off a pallete and call it a night. Chill out brother. I bought a Bosch refrigerator on 10/2/25. the ice broken 1/15/26, then the freezer, and finally the refrigerator. PC Richard's don't help you they just tell you to call Bosch. Bosch is awful and as of today, 3/9/26, I still don't have a refrigerator, freezer, and ice that works. Finally, PC Richard's says they wlll issue a store credit for a new item. I want a refund and they say no because I have had it too long! They ignored me pleads for help for the last 7 weeks and now have the nerve to say I cannot get my money back because the refrigerator has been in my hose this long. They are a real joke of a company. I don't want to deal ever again with PC Richard's or Bosch. read more

My wife and I bought a real nice Samsung stove. The salesman Brad was very nice. We needed to get a new gas shut off valve installed for 85.00. The manager came over and said no charge for new shut off valve. When we got the bill it said pay 85.00 on delivery. I called Brad 2 times no return call.Third call he hung up on me .Forth call he said we have to put on bill .So, we paid the 85.00 dollars.After the sale they don't want to know you.They weren't nice and lied. I decided to walk in after a negative experience at a competitor down the road, and was fortunate enough to meet Michael Brown who immediately walked me through answers to questions I had about a built in combo oven. He spent hours with me in person and over the phone, and was always responsive. It worked - I am awaiting delivery and installation of not only the combo oven, but new gas cooktop and downdraft. I will never shop here again. There was many bumps in the road. Firstly the order was never placed properly and was supposed to be delivered by Saturday December 24th. Then when said delivery was placed properly it was the wrong size box spring. Trying to talk to anyone there with out an attitude or getting hostile is a slim chance. The final straw is now that the drop off window being changed. I would not have had such and issue had I not have to have someone stay at my house for 3 hours because a signature is required. Now it is pushed back three hours. Also was persuaded to sign up for a credit card I would expect a little better customer service. NEVER AGAIN. Just got off the phone again, nothing but excuses and hostility. read more

I went into the store and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought a fridge, paid and scheduled a delivery. There were two delivery men that showed up. The one that spoke English came into my garage and slid my old fridge down my driveway without the use of a fridge cart. The other gentleman brought the new one in with a cart and set it down about 7 feet from were it was going and slid it into place. This scratched my painted floor. The mover that spoke English received a personal phone call and never came back. The one that was left handed me a phone that simply showed a place to sign. I signed and they left. I had to lift the fridge to adjust the feet to level it. That's when I noticed they bent both feet while sliding it the way they did. Then I went to wipe it down and realized the corner of the door was all scratched. I filled out the customer survey with zero response. I would not purchase from this company again. read more

Continuing the saga from the previous 1-star review, we finally sorted out (after multiple phone calls with salespeople that would not return phone calls or texts) and got delivery of the washer - dryer : missing some key parts. I asked the delivery people to take the item back, but the salesperson pleaded that he would ensure the parts got delivered ASAP. The installer showed up a week later and called me from the truck and said, he didn't have the parts after all. Fast forward, dead silence from the company or salespeople I called them today and hear that they will come next week, just would not confirm the date by email. I am not sure what to do. I wish I could turn the clock back and mentally fire P C Richard as a retailer. This is a company that should not be in this business of delivering and installing household appliances. read more

When he had a question he went to management to get the correct answer instead of giving us a run around. What I appreciated most was his upfront approach. He didn't give us a sales pitch and let us know upfront what we could expect in regard to discounts. P.C. Richard & Son definitely offered the best deal for our purchase and that is especially important when buying everything (range, hood, refrigerator, and dishwasher). Trying to find the best prices when shopping for appliances can be frustrating. As soon as you think you found the lowest, a competing store lowers theirs to the same level. Or special store rebates are offered, or the prospect of floor models are dangled in front of you. I was able to take a few weeks to comparison shop, then took those lowest prices to PCR to see what they could do to earn my $$$. Bobby S helped me and told me about a manufacturer warranty if I bought all 4 in the same brand. He not only matched the items that were lower elsewhere, he beat them. Somehow he waived delivery and sales tax( don't worry NJ, you'll get your cut I'm sure) too. I saved at least $200 purchasing the items here. Delivery happened yesterday and no complaints there either. I jumped on the offer for 0% financing for 1 year too. Customer service has been friendly on the few visits I made to research and haggle, I was greeted shortly upon entering then given time to browse. Associates made themselves available when I had q's. I'm not sure how they did it( ok, saving money was probably it) but I am a fan. I plan on going back to check out tvs soon. I felt compelled to write this review because I am just so impressed with P.C Richard & Son. My husband and I bought a home at the end of June 2020 and took advantage of some great July 4th sales on new kitchen appliances and a washer. There were some delays that were completely out of their hands due to Covid, but they were always honest, apologetic, sincere, and super helpful along the way. Literally every time I called and every person I spoke with was as friendly as can be. I got the feeling they truly enjoy their jobs and/or are just very customer service oriented, never rude or annoyed, but always patient and kind. PC RICHARD STINKS!!!! I have been a loyal customer for many years. Over the years I bought a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, exhaust fan and stove hood, multiple big screen TVs over 60 inches in size, a large Weber grill, sound bar, and multiple small appliances. I also made the foolish decision to purchase the 5 year extended warranty the salesman have no problem pushing on you. When the time came that I needed that warranty I was given the run around for weeks on end. My Frigidaire oven broke on February 1 and I'm still without a stove. The guy came out February 11th to say it needed a part. It's March 10th and still no part. I can't cook for my family and had to cancel some gatherings. I am done with PC Richard's. Don't trust them. They only care about a sale and not helping the consumer. read more

When we came Sunday we scheduled delivery for Thursday the following week. They called Wednesday to confirm our FRIDAY delivery. We promptly called back, but they said all the tucks were packed up. This was appalling!! I understand trucks being packed up but not accommodating an upset customer really??? Anyway the mn we talked to on the phone about delivery times began to argue with us ( how could his staff be wrong.....) . He told us Saturday we could have it delivered; we said it had to be In between a certain time frame. The man on the phone said he couldn't promise anything. VERY VERY unprofessional. We had a warranty issue with an appliance that we purchased at PC Richard & Son and after having a serviceman come out and try and repair it on three occasions (to no avail) , we went into the PC Richard & Son location in Lawrenceville NJ to ask for a complete replacement. We were advised by Jack, the store mgr. that replacement could only be authorized by the manufacturer. Jack was able to get the replacement handled right there on the spot without any further waiting and we walked out right then with an upgraded unit. This is our third transaction with this business at this location and like the previous visits, the customer service was and is stellar! It's no surprise to me that they have been in business over 100 years! We would highly recommend PC Richard & Son in Lawrenceville NJ to anyone! read more

If it was possible to give zero stars, I would. We brought in a vacuum cleaner for repair in September. It was returned in January. The repair wasn't done. They returned the wrong floor attachment, not the one we had brought in with the vacuum. The one that they gave us is not appropriate for our floors. They did not give us credit for the deposit that we paid in September towards the cost of the repair. The store manager told me that he could not refund the amount of the repair and that I had to call a service manager. I left a message for the service manager, who did not return my call the same day. I have yet to hear how the situation is going to be resolved, as they want me to bring the vacuum back and trust them to make it right. I was a long-time customer, and purchased all of my major appliances from this store. But if they cannot handle simple customer service tasks and keeping their word, I can no longer trust them. I would encourage others not to trust them either. read more

This place is a joke, the store manager "Frank" who wouldn't tell me his last name was very rude and uninformative about my options regarding a gas grill I bought that wasn't working properly. He laughed at me and said "I'm not taking this back," like he owns the store. So I called corporate and they let me know it was under warranty and to call the manufacturer. I will never walk into this store again, as I already thought the salesman were not very knowledgeable and now I know that probably stems from management. Went to get a remote start installed. It took exactly two hours to get installed. However the car installer had such a funky attitude when I asked him about all the things the remote+security could do. I mean it's his job and he's the expert. So if I'm paying over 400.00 for this why would I need to read the instruction book. When you can explain to me and show me psychically.
