We got a loveseat and 2 recliners from Sofa Mart in Grand Junction. Never mind it took about an hour to get it ordered because the woman kept messing it up. We got the loveseat and one recliner fairly quickly because they were floor models, so we just had to wait for delivery. We waited like 6 MONTHS for the second recliner because it was backordered. Fine. Well, the floor model loveseat is now broken less than a year in. They came and took HALF of my loveseat to repair (the kid who picked it up trying to fix it with his leatherman was icing on the cake). Come to find out they can't repair it (I had to call because no one bothered to inform me when I might see my furniture again) and have ordered a new one that will be here in a 2 MONTHS! Now I have another recliner that doesn't want to recline and half a loveseat. I wouldn't buy a painting from this place, it's a joke. read more

In January 2021 I ordered a sofa, love seat and ottoman. Because of the pandemic I waited for the two sofas a couple months which I understood. It is the middle of July and I'm still waiting for the ottoman. It has been at the store for a couple of weeks. I feel they should have made it a point to deliver it as soon as it arrived but it won't be delivered until next week. I just hope the fabric lot matches after all this time. I'm trying to be forgiving due to the pandemic, but don't think I'll be ordering from them again. read more

I came in recently with my rambunctious family to try to find new family room furniture for my elderly mother. My mother has had severe health issues with her back in recent years and has struggled tremendously finding furniture that helps her relax on this side of the mountains. We came in and Bailey welcomed us with a warm smile and allowed my mom to roam around the store at her own pace, leaving her to sit for extended periods to see if she was comfortable. Bailey (and the other staff) were also incredibly patient with the toddlers my sister and brother-in-law had in tow and never said a word about their mayhem. Bailey was nothing but incredibly patient and kind, answering my mom's questions and helping her with kindness and empathy but never pushiness. Though my mom ultimately was unable to find something that suited her incredibly particular and unique needs, if I lived in the area I would 100% come to Furniture Row to buy furniture not only for the quality of furniture, but the welcomed level of customer service. My wife and I had been planning to look for new furniture over the Labor Day weekend. We did some research over the Internet and found some living room sets from a few stores around town. We decided to go to Furniture Row first because they had a leather sectional that really caught our eye. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Sebastian. He showed us the piece that we liked and went through all the features. He was so friendly and listened to our needs. Before we were done, we had the couch, coffee/end/sofa tables and even a new area rug that all worked beautifully with everything. My wife and I left impressed and happy with the whole experience. Once our furniture was delivered, my wife noticed a blemish on the stone top of our coffee table. I talked to Sebastian and asked if he could have someone come by to look at the table because we really didn't like it. He said it was not necessary to send someone out; if I wasn't happy he'd have it replaced. No questions asked!! Thank you Sebastian, for you're help and excellent customer service during and after the sale. We'll definitely come back for our next room redecoration. This store was so helpful and worked to get us exactly the items we were looking for, unfortunately one of the recliners didn't work I called to let them know and we have pick it up to replace it when it comes in. If the piece doesn't work they should pick up and deliver. Not purchasing from them again. It is a week later and the store reversed it's previous decision. They were gracious and made the delivery easy. The delivery guys assembled the couch and were very nice. Thank you FRO for being so nice. read more

My wife and I have saved and waited for years to finally replace our hand me down bedroom furniture that is over 40 years old. I finally surprised her with a new bedroom set and mattress as an early Christmas gift. Over $6,000 later we purchased a nice new set and a new mattress that we plan to use for years. Upon finalizing the purchase in a store in Colorado Springs, we were told the furniture would be delivered from a store in Grand Junction. We were told the furniture would be at the GJ store during the first week in January, and that our sales rep would call us to set up the delivery we paid $450 for. Unfortunately we never got a call. I finally called the store myself and was told several excuses about how the sales rep had days off or the delivery was late, etc. I finally asked for the number to the GJ store directly so that I could arrange the delivery myself. If this was a review of the CS store, I would not give more than one star. When I reached the GJ store, I spoke with a woman (I will not her real name since the A-Manager said he would deal with it) named "Jane". Jane told me it wasn't her fault because the delivery only reached her store a few days ago. She told me the furniture could only be delivered on one of two days over the next two weeks, no exceptions. I told her I had to work those days and requested an alternative. She told me no and they have a small crew, and limited deliver days. I informed her we were told the deliver would be set up around our availability and she said no and told me to take it up with the other store. I told Jane if I would need to just get my money back and she said fine, laughed it off, and told me to call the other store. I asked for a manager and she lied and said she was the manager. I confronted her on that lie and told her I wanted the real manager. She told me there was an A-Manager named Alex. This review is really about Alex. Based on my contact with "Jane", I not only would have demanded a complete refund, I would have never returned, and This review would have been 0 stars. But Alex, WOW. I was admittedly PISSED OFF when I got on the phone with Alex. I had just been blown off and got the run around from reps at two different stores. My Christmas gift to my wife that we have saved for 10 years to get was missing and may not show up. I had been lied to and dismissed like I meant nothing. I was fired up by the time I reached Alex. Alex listened to me, called me by name, understood my concerns and acknowledged my grievances. He explained the delivery schedule and informed me that the day I had requested was in fact available for delivery, but it was considered and alternate day and not used unless needed due to overtime. He apologized for the way we were treated and agreed to deliver on the day we requested. He did everything I would expect from a Manager and representative of his business. I was so blown away by Alex and his efforts, I calmed down almost immediately and we worked out a delivery date that would work for everyone. I am taking the day off work (which is what I was trying to avoid) but it seems worth it to work with Alex. He took the time to explain that a truck would literally be driving past my house to make another delivery, and so we compromised and I took the day off to make that day work. Alex is everything that the consumer expects and deserves from the retail industry. He is very good at his job and a credit to the entire store chain. I would recommend that the store make him the full time manager. He explained that he is only the A-Manager and has been filling in since the Manager left in July, 17. He deserves a LOT of credit and respect for his professionalism and patience. Because of him, I give this store 4 stars and I intend to shop at this store in the future. Sometimes just one person doing their job well can make all the difference. Thank you Alex. Now, lets see how the delivery goes.... read more
