The manager Devin Fuller helped me with my purchases which included a leather couch, two nightstands, a dresser, a king and queen mattress, an accent chair, and a few pieces of decor. The furniture delivery guys were awesome. They placed the furniture in our home exactly where we wanted and were careful not to damage our walls or door frame. And I was very happy with all the furniture I received. I know Ashley has lower-end furniture but if you want quality stuff, I recommend just reading the reviews online and asking for Devin's feedback. He will let you know what will last and what won't and is awesome to work with. In our primary home, we have a lot of Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn, the Ashley furniture is almost the same quality.

They don't have a website for ordering furniture. :-( Their pieces are made unique and inexpensive for this store. The quality is good, not flimsy by any means. The first time I went in, I was not greeted and the employee on shift was sitting on the counter on her phone watching videos, then when I asked for a fitting room she said they close they're dressing rooms an hour early before close to sanitize them. If that was the case I wouldn't have cared, but I've been in before and been able to try things on even 20 minutes before closing. Then today 5/4/23 I went in looking for a dress and spent less then five minutes in there because I wasn't once again not greeted and the employee could not get off her phone! Keep in mind there were a handful of customers in the store besides me, it was also a bit awkward with no music because it was so quiet but I can't be too upset with that. After I had asked a few times with no response about a necklace I had enough and decided to spend my money elsewhere, I hate leaving bad reviews but this has happened on more than one occasion and it's getting old! No one knows good customer service anymore! If I decide to continue to shop at down east I will take the minor inconvenience to go across the street!!

Absolutely horrible now. We've bought a lot of furniture through these guys and it's never been crazy good quality but doable, but now they're stuff is just straight garbage. We recently bought two couches, one was already broke so we had to take it back right off the bat, and thats after they had to fix the foot on it before we left the warehouse mind you. Now they're saying since they replaced it so there is no more warranty on it even though it's broke again just a few months later. The other couch we bought also broke, but they discontinued this couch. They now want us to take that couch to their warehouse just to see if they can fix the broken metal piece. I would steer clear from here it took like a month of multiple calls just to get told were SOL. HORRIBLE BUISNESS AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. read more

I feel like they should not take full payment until delivery. There is no incentive to get your furniture to you after you have already paid. Given the current lock down I do understand that it is not "business as usual". However, are the phones broken too? Restaurants do curb side and take out but when we offered to come load and take our furniture ourselves with no contact with anyone I was told they would call me back. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. Now I just want my money back ( nearly $6,000) so that I can buy furniture from a business that cares about it's customers. But good luck getting anyone to return a call. read more

When my couch arrived MONTHS later than I was quoted one of the pieces was not there. I went in to see when it would arrive and I was told I needed to purchase it still. I confronted Hailey stating she told me that I would be getting a deal she admitted to lying to me and then said "are you going to order it or not?" If I could turn back the hands of time I would have never made such a big purchase with Modern Home because of Hailey's unprofessional attitude. I do not recommend.
