I just had a great experience with Brandy and the team at Furniture World! I'd gone to several different furniture stores and narrowed down what I was looking for in terms of style and color, and the fact that I definitely wanted the brand, Stanton, but with the long lead times for all ordered furniture, was referred to Furniture World because they have access to a large number of styles in stock. Specifically, with Stanton. (If you're not aware, it's a furniture manufacturer based in Oregon with great quality and fabulous warranty.) Anyway, I went and Brandy was the PERFECT combination of available, helpful, and not pushy. I was able to explore and try different pieces, ask questions, and she gave great recommendations. She was beyond patient while I FaceTimed my husband, shared dimensions, and even helped me drag cushions outside to see the colors in the daylight. They have great availability for arranging delivery, and it's very reasonable. Another quick side note that just made me pleased to shop here: A gentleman came in while I was there looking for office chairs, and while it's not a product they sell, Brandy still gave him recommendations and advice on where to go for a good selection. Finally, the atmosphere among the people working there was exactly what you'd hope for. What a scam! Be careful when ordering here. Make sure you ask what their return policy is. Our couch broke and of course 2 days after the warranty expired. Brandi in Lynnwood who has always been great worked with us to find a new couch. Found one and ordered over the phone. Was never informed about this being an all sales final couch. When we received the couch and set it up it wasn't as comfortable to us and the arm rests are lower then liked. Called the next day to return it as their website says 48 hours to return merchandise as well as the recipet of sale says. We were basically brushed off with all sales final comment. Used to believe they were helpful and cared about working with you but clearly it's all about the sale. No we're stuck with a less the desirable couch. read more

I worked with Brandi to furnish a new apartment and it was the best decision I made. Truly low prices on quality, solid-wood dining and custom-made sectional furniture. I was skeptical using a mom and pop store instead of a national chain -- I quickly learned it was a foolish thought. I purchased a dining set, bar stools, bedroom set, and custom sectional. I was new to the area, moving to Redmond from New York, for work. I did some research online and visited Dania and Ashley Furniture. I then traveled up to Lynnwood to Furniture World. Brandi beat other pricing by more than one thousand dollars! She didn't even look at the quotes I was given. I'm not saying this will happen in all situations, but I did furnish a whole apartment so that probably helped. The furniture protection was inexpensive, too and with the money I saved it was a smart choice. All items were delivered and setup on one day. I noticed there was a long deep scratch on the side of the bed headboard and side rail. They took care of it ASAP, no hassle. I'm now 18 months into my move and everything is still in perfect shape. I searched for Furniture World's phone number today to order more two more chairs for my dining table. I was surprised I didn't write this review earlier - probably busy with the move. I continued to look around and not more than 5 min later a couple walked in and the guy from the back came right up to the front of the store and engaged them. Hmm very interesting. Just run away now. I had hopes for this place as I had purchased a couch from them when they had the Everett location years ago. The delivery from those men ik. But my friend who has had numerous deliveries from the Marysville branch raved about the delivery guys, one who had been a repeat delivery and how well he did. With covid and a cancer patient at my home I have to be extra careful where I go and the steps I take. So I called the store hoping to get some information. I was looking for a recliner that that had some specific extras to it. Guy kept telling me to come on it and I explained my situation and why I was trying to contact the store this way. Lots of sighing on the phone by someone who identified as the manager. Really professional.... He said he had a few options that matched what I was looking for I asked if he could email me some stats on it. He said yes and then I asked if I could request a specific delivery person as my friend who has gotten many deliveries from this branch has raved about this guy going above and beyond. His answer? "what does that matter as long as you get your product." I was taken back and explained that when I had purchased a couch years ago from the Everett branch prior to closing that the delivery guys were the worst ones I had ever dealt with. Kept talking about how many customers would get them drunk and then they'd go continue to delivering items. Kept trying to get a bigger tip out of us then resorted to trying to get a bottle of tequila out of us." I said if they were that way then I def don't want them now. Explained that with an immune compromised person that I would need to make sure some precautions were taken so I can make sure germs aren't brought in. new shoe covers, need to make sure chair is wrapped so I can leave it sitting for a few days outside of the main living area etc. The guy laughed at me and said, "Well that wasn't our business." I assured him it was Furniture world in Everett from years ago and I still had the receipt with the business name on it. He sighed again and asked for who I wanted. I got my beautiful pair of elephant lamps, small sofa bed,, granddaughters bedroom furniture, patio furniture, and many things from them. they have many decorative items too,vases and other complimentary things I have picked up when I was there! I have shopped in several of their locations. Brandi in Lynnwood is always happy to see me when I walk in, Jeff the store owner was at a couple of the locations and personally engages with the clients, staff and the whole family works together as a huge network, often finding pieces for you at their other 10 locations. I found out you can custom make your own designs in their design center, picking your own fabrics, to match whatever color theme you have in your home if you don't mind waiting for custom design fabrication. Like other people have stated, their customer service is definitely lacking. I originally found a sectional couch I loved at another furniture store at a great price, but when I called the order it and was was told I would not get the couch for 7 weeks, I decided to shop around more. After some internet shopping, I found a similar sectional to the one I had originally fell in love with. I called Furniture World to because their website said they carried it. Unfortunately, they did sell the sectional pieces but they did not have it available at their showroom. I was also told it would take 7-10 days for my furniture to arrive -- GREAT! I thought. Although it was a few hundred dollars more than the original furniture I'd wanted, as least I would get it quickly! That was Saturday, June 23rd. I didn't order right then because I wanted to shop around and make sure the same thing wasn't available somewhere else for cheaper Here's a time line of events since then... Sun., June 24: Called and ordered the sectional pieces. I paid half the price right then and was told I could pay the other half when I got the furniture. I was told it would take 2 weeks for the furniture to arrive and that they would call me. (Note that this was longer than the 7-10 days I was originally told -- still, I thought, better than 7 weeks). Thur., July 12 (2 weeks + 4 days from order date): They had not called me, so I called them asking about my order. A gentleman answered the phone and told me he'd call me right back. About an hour later, he called me back and set up a delivery date/time. I HIGHLY suspect that the reason it took so long to call me back was because my furniture was never actually delivered and they were scrambling to get it ordered and too me. Wed., July 18 (3 weeks + 3 days from order date): Furniture was delivered. Unfortunately they got my order backwards and had 4 corner pieces and 1 chair piece. The delivery guys left me with one of each and said someone would call me. Thur., July 19: I ended up calling them because they didn't. I was told maybe the pieces would arrive (at their store) on Wed. or Thur. Fri, July 27 (4 weeks + 5 days from order date): Finally got the rest of the furniture. We were given free delivery ($59) for our troubles. I had an email coupon for $100 off an order of $1000 or more I tried to use, but I was told I had been given a discount on the furniture and that the coupon couldn't be used. I have a feeling they were doing some "funny math" though. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would have saved my money and simply waited the 7 weeks at the other store. read more

Not even 6 months later the furniture is coming apart, contacted the store they said to contact the warranty & they didn't do nothing, came to fix furniture 1 year later. So, as others have stated, we weren't really greeted by anyone, but it was fairly busy when I was there. The two employees who were working the Sunday we went in were dressed in a fairly non-professional manner, jeans and t-shirts, etc. That aside, all we really wanted were a couple of pieces of fairly inexpensive furniture, which we managed to find. The prices are reasonable enough, but my major complaint with this place is that they told me it would take 7-10 business days for the order to come in (2 pieces of furniture, a tv stand and a dresser). 13 business days later, I called and the tv stand was in, but the dresser will was not, but the guy went ahead and scheduled my delivery for the following week. So, provided it is delivered next week as scheduled, it will have been 18 business days since I placed the order. They really should be more realistic with customers about how long it will take to get the furniture, as had I known it would take this long I would have likely considered other options, or AT THE VERY LEAST, I would have been able to plan a little better. read more

On our most recent purchase, 2 small wood blocks were not removed by the installers so you could open it up and put in the leaf. We had purchased our dinette set at Furniture World in Lynnwood a few years ago. There has been no problems with that at all. Has held up beautifully. Still looks as good as new. We had such a good experience we went back to shop for a sectional. We had an idea what of what size we were looking for. Our sales person Brandi was amazing. Sweet and very outgoing personality. Always greeting us with a smile. You can tell she has been there a long time as she really knows her stuff. We wanted something that would last us a long time so we went for the higher end Stanton brand. She was very helpful with assisting us with our fabric and picking the fabric for the decorative pillow is comes with. It is so beautiful and extremely comfy. The fabric we chose is micro fiber. It is so soft and feels great. The delivery was set for 6-8 weeks and it came in 3 weeks. What a nice surprise that was. The two delivery guys were very nice and polite! Their delivery was on time which is very important. They set everything up and they made sure we were happy and we were. From start to finish this was a perfect experience. I started to write a really negative review for this Furniture World, however as I was typing, a customer service representative called me back to try her best to make it better. I purchased a bed here back in August. My mattress IS STILL ON MY FLOOR and it is October. When I purchased my bed I was told it would take 3 weeks to come in and if I wanted it delivered I would have to pay $100. I chose to pick it up myself. Before I even left the parking lot, I received a call that said the bed wouldn't arrive until 4 weeks. Ummm....okay. What am I going to do? I already paid for it. The 4 week mark came w/out even a phone call. I reached out and spoke to a very nice lady who informed me that the bed was being shipped that very day...to THEIR store front!! It would be ANOTHER week before I could get it. I expressed my extreme displeasure (I have been sleeping on my floor for a month now). The lady I was speaking with informed me the shipping was out of her hands, but she could have it delivered to my home at no cost for the inconvenience. The 5th week passed w/out any phone calls to set up my delivery. Again I had to reach out and was told that their deliveries we're back logged and it would be another 9 days before my bed could be delivered!!! I will be sleeping on my floor for a month and a half!! I took the delivery date and informed her I was not happy about my experience shopping at Furniture World and I would never being doing business with them again. As I was typing my review on Yelp, she called back to say she was able to bump another order and could push my delivery up a week. So .... I commend their customer service in trying to ease the pain of doing business with them. However, you make the call on whether or not the bargains are worth the wait. read more
