Went in today to look at rugs. I've never been in a rug shop, and was impressed with the selection. Abel helped us and was super kind and intelligent. After describing what we liked, he showed us multiple rugs. It's so nice to see a wide variety in person, because it helped me pinpoint my style, as well as open my eyes to other styles. I highly suggest coming in, as you are can touch and see exactly what you're getting. It sounds like their return policy is very good too. OMG don't buy your rug anywhere else! I bought an absolutely gorgeous rug at a price point several hundred dollars below every other website I visited! I couldn't believe it. I was hesitant to buy at first because it was so much cheaper, but there was no basis for my reluctance. The rug is first-rate. Customer service with Abel was outstanding. I had occassion to talk to him 3 times: once to ask about the price, once to follow up on my order, and once when he called me back with order status. He is pleasant, professional, and responsive. We had just installed wood floors and wanted a rug for our living room. We wanted to shop small and local and had never been in a rug store before. We found Rugs Galore in Snohomish and the experience was perfect. Abel showed us some styles and colors and talked us through what might work well and about rugs in general. He was very knowledgeable about fabrics and wear and helped us understand what to expect. He also just generally talked to us about our likes and dislikes and tried to get an idea about what type of rug would be great for us. We wasn't pushy and he let us take our time. We landed on a beautiful red and blue Egyptian style rug and we simply love it! We also bought a bright colored smaller rug at the last minute for another room and we love that one too. They have reasonable prices and also a great return policy in case you don't like the rug or it doesn't work in your space. We won't be returning these tho! Thank you Abel! read more

Seems silly to write a review on a rug, but this area rug exceeded my expectations and was really a good value for the price. My throw rug is very thick and so nice to walk across with bare feet! The company was great as far as confirming the order, letting me know when the shipping would take place and followed through with the promises. We recently completed a major remodel including new hardwoods and needed to buy a number of new rugs. A friend of mine told me about Rugs Galore. I was skeptical at first since I live in Seattle and this store is in little ol' Snohomish, but I was very impressed with their HUGE website. I was even more impressed when I went up there and met with Guinevere. Warning: Do not dismiss this young lady because she is young! In fact, in subsequent visits when I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with the owner who doesn't seem to be nearly as capable as Guinevere, my positive impression of her grew even greater. She's handled numerous emails and phone calls as we attempted to pick the best rugs (6 in all) for our space. At first my mom and I went in (shes on oxygen) to look at the selection. Abel was REALLY nice and helpful - just enough help to get us started and no pressure. Answered all our questions promptly - including wear, cat/pet issues, cleaning and how much time it would take to get missing elements from each potential rug design. Then I went in with my wife - we got to test the rug we wanted for a few days and ordered. My husband and I recently remodeled our home and needed to find the perfect area rugs and runners. Our search began in Bellingham and finally we found Rugs Galore in Snohomish. Able, the young salesman, was a huge help and very pleasant and patient with us. We found what we had been looking for at Rugs Galore. Able checked inventory and we placed our order. A few days later we were told that the manufacturer of one of the rugs said that they could not fill our order because "someone" wanted the whole lot. Marvin, the owner, stepped in and thankfully straightened it all out. We now are enjoying our new look and our beautiful rugs, thanks to able and Marvin. I thought this company had an amazing selection and good prices. After a long search, I purchased a rug from this company only to hear back 3 days later that it was on back order 4-6 weeks. Because of my time line, I could not wait that long so I canceled the order. When I finally found another rug that would fit, I purchased it only to hear back again the next day that it was also on back order for a couple of months. I wasted too much time searching and searching only to make a purchase and find out that I was back to square one, again!!! What a frustrating experience. I suggest that they list on their items when an item is out of stock to save customers the hassle. I also suggest for anyone looking to buy from this company that you contact them to ask if the item is actually in stock before going through the purchasing process only to be disappointed later. UPDATE: I was initially very disappointed in the communication, however a customer service rep took the time to explain how the process works and the reason rugs may be out of stock. She gracefully accepted my opinion concerning the communication and she stated that their website is in the process of becoming more user friendly and informative. In the mean time, she suggested continuing to inquire about item availability before making a purchase. read more

The store is on the smaller side, but the selection is actually pretty large, and the website had soo many rugs. Overall, i would say my experience was great with this company and i would recommend it to anyone looking for good priced rugs. The customer service was very informative and very nice. First of all, I want to say that this place has a large selections as long as you find the one you like in stock. If they are ordering it, you need to make sure they call the company to see if it is on back order or not before you leave the store. Unfortunately I bought a family room rug and ordered a matching runner and a small size rug to be delivered in a few weeks. Later I have got an email saying it is on back order and it will take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. I chose another one to find out that was on back order too. It has been almost 10 weeks and I have not received the rug yet. I have called a few times to check the status and the customer rep told me the company who sends my rug is not that reliable and the rug estimated delivery time is in mid July now. Why deal with someone who is not reliable to start with? If you decided to do that as a company, please let the customer know from the day one what they are getting in to. My experience with their customer service has not been great except the first day with Katie. Guinevere, please don't yell at your customer instead of apologizing for the inconvenience your company created. read more
