I bought ~$2200 dresser set, and upon delivery it was clearly marred on the top, as though someone had hit it with a hammer & tried to repair it. The delivery person pointed it out to me as he set it up. He took pictures, and said in cases like this, the store fixes / refinishes. I'm incredibly disappointed as I paid for a new set, not a fixed/repaired set. At the very least they could have offered a small discount for my inconvenience and decreased value. It's unfortunate that they don't back up their own deliveries as I'd planned to come back for a recliner but after my experience & seeing similar reviews, I lack confidence to try this store again. read more

We purchased a Stanton queen size hide a. bed sofa at the Marysville location. The sofa arrived sooner than expected. Pedro and his delivery team went above and beyond for us. To get the sleeper into an upstairs bedroom they took it apart and then put it back together in the room. They did this in a timely manner with great attitudes. Highly recommend! read more

Great selection and huge showroom. Convenient location with lots of parking. We ordered a Stanton sectional that came in a month earlier than expected!!! Delivery guys were fantastic and we enjoyed working with Justine in the showroom. If buying anything make sure you check if you are ordering new or buying a floor model. I had wobbly tables arrive and it showed me as buying the floor model...news to me! I was going to send them back as I was pretty ticked to pay full price and wait for a floor model when I thought I was buying new. We are going to try tightening the bolts to see if that helps. I don't think I will be back to Furniture World for anything of that nature but will for larger items that are ordered in. read more

Saddened by the lack of communication and customer service at this store. Purchased a dining room set and server in early October. My wife and I were told that it would be delivered in late November. We paid in full and had only the server delivered. The dining room table had been pushed out to late December. My wife called today and was told it would be delivered in late February. I can understand the delay due to COVID, but to not have the staff call in order to update the order status is frustrating. We shopped local and this is the service we get. read more

My wife and I visited the store mid to late September. This was the fifth furniture store we visited but all the rest were giving us 2+ month wait times, but here they quoted us at 3 weeks so we decided to go ahead even though the price was higher. Mid October rolled around and we called to confirm and they told us it shifted to mid November. That eventually shifted to mid December and then sometime in the new year. We eventually cancelled our order. The two frustrating things were the constant delays/rescheduling and the fact that for months we only received updates if we called them. Eventually we complained enough to get a manager involved but all he did differently was to send us updates. No real improvements in getting us our furniture were made. I suggest going somewhere honest that has a good staff who communicates. read more

I ordered a couch in the beginning of December 2019. It was delivered Dec 13, later than the delivery window. I left the room while the two delivery men assembled the couch. When I walked back in the room, I was ushered towards the kitchen where I needed to sign paperwork before even seeing the couch. That was my first mistake. I signed and started to walk into the living room to see the couch. One delivery man stopped me and asked if he could have some candy from a jar I had on my counter. I said yes and again started to walk towards the couch. He asked if the candy was peppermint and then proceeded to keep me in the kitchen telling me about his sore throat and how peppermint helps this. I felt uncomfortable, so I handed him his tip so he would leave. When I went to check out the couch, I saw a 5" hole in the front. I ran outside to catch the delivery drivers and they reluctantly came back in to take photos and start a report for the store. They kept saying "oh, we didn't even see that!" It wasn't convincing at all. They were hoping to drive away so that they wouldn't have to accept responsibility. Since then, I've been given the run around. There are talks of couch covers or having someone fix the couch, but I just want the product I paid for. I should have demanded that they put the couch back on the truck but I gave the people at the store the benefit of the doubt that they'd do the right thing. I feel taken advantage of. The store took my money and delivered a defective product and no one there seems to care about getting this issue resolved for me. I want a new couch without any tears and feel that is more than reasonable. I'm not sure what recourse I have but I will be a speaking to the Better Business Bureau soon to find out. read more

Great and friendly staff, even sent me to other stores to see more of a selection and bring back to them to beat the price. Where they lost me was they highly suggested a "furniture warrantee" thru Guardsman which turned out to be a complete waste of money. I worked with the sales associate aka manager, their claims dept, etc.. they said "it's all about how you word it to Gusrdsman to get them to except the claim". This is ridiculous. I have a seam that came apart, a broken zipper and muddy cushion which all have been denied. The staff has just said "ya sorry, this is typical", then why did you have me pay for it and WHY are you using this company???? Check Guardsman reviews online and especially BBB. This is a bad company which makes FW look bad for using them. read more

the products are rubbish, I bought a table and a total of 10 thousand dollars in that store and the table was damaged every month ... the lemon juice ruined it ... it is more fake than ikea and the Ikea products last longer ... they do not have warranty . and they never tell you that they don't even have a sheet of real wood ... i bought a sofa and loveseat with the extended warranty. guardsmen. two of the usb ports quit working. i put in a claim and was declined because i waited a month to put in the claim, which is stupid, it wasn't a stain it was a component the stopped working. i had to live with it not working. it wasn't going to get worse. the store itself is good but the extended warranty company they use is worthless. don't waste your money. The furniture I bought here was just delivered. The delivery guys are great and they set up all the furniture and took all the trash with them. I love everything that I got. The only problem was that one of the chairs from the dining room set came damaged. The delivery guys pointed it out, wrote a report and told me we should get a call within a few days and then a replacement would get sent over. Super easy process. And we were able to keep the damaged chair and they'll take it when they bring the replacement. I'll definitely come here again if I need anything else. read more

Terrible customer service. I just moved to Everett. I wanted this to be my furniture store so I can buy everything to furnish from there . But after first purchase, my wife decided to return a recliner for exchange from the same store for another model that she saw there. The lady was saying you signed a contract that you can not return after 48 hrs. The reason for a few days delays was snow storm and my wife's Dr. Appointment. She wouldn't let us even talk and was saying you are not listening. I already told you we can not take it.I thought customer was first in many businesses I dealt with. We were not allowed to talk. First off, I sent an email to Nichole (customer service) towards fall of 2020, after being in communication with her about our couch that had to have all cushions replaced since all feathers came out, and the frame had broken, on both sides of the sectional we paid 3k for with in the first 2 years of owning it.... I with in communication re: couch, mentioned to her I was unhappy with how our table was delivered wearing, and the quality of it, for what we paid, our chairs already were wobbly, and cracking... and we paid 2500 for our dining set... she said we were just out of our year mark of warranty, so I would have to contact guardsman, extended warranty- The guardsman extended warranty the sell is completely voided if you move, just a heads up, even if you start it when you live in the original place you purchased the furniture in..... not only that, prior to our move the repair company sent out on two different occasions someone to "fix" the table..... with in 2 weeks, already started to peel..... just a heads up, the quality of the furniture for what you pay, just buyer be ware.... we purchased a LOT of pieces from them, and almost all have failed just over that year mark... for what we paid, we feel we could have gotten much better quality. read more

Kind of feel like they flipped me the bird. I paid $1300 for a special order sofa (I picked the fabric). It took four months to get it (from 200 miles away). I paid $99 for them to deliver it to me (less than 30 minutes away), and it was literally just delivery! I had to unpack it myself and put it together. Not real impressed here. read more

I ordered a dining room table and was told it world be 2-3 week before i could pick it up. After waiting 3 weeks I called to check status. I was told it was on back order and it might be another 8-10 business days before it was available. Not even fake remorse over the delay. I know there are conditions beyond the control of Furniture World but here are some suggestions that ARE within their control. They could have called ME to let me know the table would not be available within the estimated time. Explain why the table is not available. Express remorse. Offer to deliver table. The invoice clearly says that the 2-3 weeks is an estimate and no refunds. This is great from a legal standpoint but not the best practice if they want return customers. It is my fist and last time there. read more

We've been to several furniture stores to look for a new bed frame. All the other stores were high pressure sales people, following us around, offering financing and trying to get us to make a decision on the spot. Went to the Snohomish Furniture World today and it was a completely different experience. Salesperson pointed us in the right direction, gave us time to look and then came to see if we had questions. She was super friendly and helpful without pressuring us. We ended up buying from them and the check out process was easy. We weren't sure how high the bed would be with our mattress and she took the time to measure how high it would be. Overall a great experience and we wish we had gone there first! read more

After we narrowed it down, we talked to Jeff and he answered all our questions. I'm not an impulse buyer so I asked for a quote so I could think about it. The next day I checked out the competition - wow what a difference. Their prices were much higher and they said it would take a couple of months to get the furniture. We bought our first ever brand new couch from Furniture World in Snohomish and we couldn't be happier with the couch and the services we received! The couch is amazing: the color is exactly what we expected, its firm and yet comfortable, and it fits perfectly into the space we imagined it in! And we love that it is a sectional that wasn't too expensive! We got the sectional and the matching ottoman for about $1,000, which was amazing for our young growing family. On top of the quality of the couch and the fair price, the service we received was amazing. Ashlynn was the salesperson we worked with and ordered through and she was very sweet and informative and thorough. The delivery men were both professional and quick, and did a great job making sure they inspected each piece of furniture and placed it where we wanted it.
