That, in turn, made me more comfortable about leaving my baby with people I don't know. By the second day, Georgie was excited to step inside and didn't notice when I left. The DBL staff are top notch! They are kind to the dogs and their humans, professional and lots of fun. They pay close attention to the cleanliness of the facility and the safety of each dog. It made me feel really comfortable about leaving them with her since one of my dogs isn't very people-friendly and very nervous around new people. When we got back from Big Bear, I noticed an update Ellen left behind for us for each hour and each time she came to visit. The staff is WONDERFUL!! They remember my dogs name, even when she hasn't been in awhile! When I drop my dog off I can look in the viewing window and see how sweet the staff are to my dog and all the doggies. Last time I watched, I saw the staff pick her up, which she loves, give her a little snuggle and then put her in her favorite spot - on the top of the stair structure where she can oversee everything. They love to give scratches, pets and attention to all the dogs, it just shows you how kind, thoughtful and attentive they are. I love that they have the mutt-cams so we can watch all the fun. :) My dog sometimes doesn't want to leave she loves it there so much! We chose this place because we love how they are cage free when boarded overnight and they give you the cutest report card when you pick them up.

We just started our 1 year old mixed breed rescue puppy at Camp Run-a-mutt yesterday. After a short…read moretemperment test, we left her there for 6 hours. They sent home a first day report card which told us about how she did, what dogs she played with. They have cameras in the play yards so you can spy on your dog which of course we did. It was the first time we spent significant time away from her. She had a great time after being a bit shy at first. We decided to send her a second day in a row. Took her early (7:30) so she would be one of the first ones there. She had a great time. She easily interacted with the pack. There are many handlers on duty so that any problems are addressed immediately. Addy had to be "redirected" a few times for over enthusiasm We look forward to taking her back once or twice a week. The pack experience is ideal for a one dog family looking for supervised socialization. And she comes home exhausted

We felt lucky that she was in such good and caring hands. Their place was clean and set up wonderfully for dogs to roam freely and play. They even sent us pictures and videos showing what a great time our dog was having with the other dogs there. One thing especially I would give them a shout out for is how they took some time to screen the dogs they accepted. It was great knowing that they made sure our dog would be comfortable with the other dogs there before we left her there. I wish I could give more stars than five and definitely wouldn't think twice before having her stay with Chris and Barbara again in the future!

He has stayed with them for both day care and overnight visits and I was very happy with the care they provided! I prefer that he get more attention and personalized attention at a smaller, home care setting (like Hugs) vs one of the other more commercialized dog care options. Chris and Barbara took our dog on a nice, long walk in the morning and evening. They were very flexible when our schedule changed and we needed to adjust the pick up time. And he came back clean, happy and tired :-) Update April 2021 - our dog just stayed with Chris and Barbara for the past 10 days and they sent me pictures, videos and updates every day. Also got pictures of our dog sitting with them - I could tell that they truly care about him and he received lots of love in our absence. He celebrated his 1st birthday with them and my daughter was so sad that we weren't with him. Chris and Barbara threw him a birthday party and FaceTimed with us so that we could see his party they put on - complete with birthday hats, balloons, dog cake and even a present! We were so appreciative and touched (especially my daughter)!
