They were very friendly and helpful on the phone but their work was terrible. I needed to replace a large sealed double pained skylight so I gave them a call. It was around a thousand dollars for the unit. They showed up on a rainy day and installed it leaving calking visible all around the skylight itself. I say skylight but it isn't a domed skylight more of a large window on a slanted roof. Anyway it looked terrible but It didn't bother me too much as I figured I could just get up there when I had time and clean it up myself. However a year passed and I still hadn't gone up to do it and after the snow melted I seen a huge crack coming from the edge of the sealed unit on the inside pane of glass. There is no way the damage could have happened after the fact as it's on the inside as I mentioned and starts out of the very edge. It was very clear that it was damaged when they installed it and the cold carried the crack into the middle of the glass like a car windshield. They must have bumped it or hit it when transporting it or when lifting it onto the roof. I called to tell them about it and they informed me that the window only had a one year warranty. I said the window maybe but you guys damaged it when installing it and its very clear that that is the case. They refused to take responsibility even though I told them about the poor job putting it in and I encouraged them to come and look for themselves. They declined and simply offered to put in a new one at full price and even told me I'd have to pay the 300 install fee as well. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, I know I will be. Shame on you Central Alberta Glass, very disappointed.

I had used crystal glass for my honda civic and was very pleased with the service and end result…read more However upon a return visit a few years later I was very disappointed in the service and quality of work. I dropped off my BMW 330i at 8:00am and returned to pick it up at 4:30pm that day. I paid my bill and went home. Everything seemed fine until I took a closer look. First off, my windshield wipers were put on incorrectly. It was not too hard to fix, simply undo a nut, remove the wiper arm and adjust it. But this caused some concern and I decided to look closer. I noticed that the windshield cowling was not right. There were a total of 3 missing bolts, 3 broken clips and the cowling was incorrectly installed. A rubber gasket was misplaced and the end result would be a heating and ventilation system full of water the first time it would have rained. I was floored. The cowl itself had pieces broken that would require an entire new cowl to repair the damage. They had also not placed a new piece of double side tape to the inside of the top windshield seal (which they said was not needed, but was done at the previous crystal glass installation in Edmonton.) The Edmonton crystal glass was much better and I had none of these problems before. I also know for a fact that none of the above problems were there before I took the car in, as I was well aware of the condition my car arrived at their shop. Long story short, they did a horrible job and I felt that a quality repair shop would never allow a vehicle to leave their place of business in such a sad state.
