I was recently driving home from a long day at the office and was in bumper to bumper traffic. A few thoughts came to mind, one being- I have to exit soon because my grandma always said, don't drive if you don't have your Diet Coke to thrive! I exited the freeway and immediately got lost because I am never in this part of town. I ended up in this salon's parking lot and parked my '04 Toyota vehicle so I could safely look at my phone to guidance on how to arrive to my beverage! Next thing I know, there was a very nice lady who knocked on my window. I rolled it down and she mentioned that she is a hair stylist and giving out complimentary styling services when you buy a full haircut. I looked in the mirror and thought, "hm... I am in need of one and I do have a few minutes to spare, so why not?!" I let her know I was really interested in the offer and she then reassured me they have iced cold diet cokes in there! An offer I couldn't resist. The haircut did take a little longer than expected but overall it was worth every penny. I will definitely be coming back here and I am fairly confident I have found my lifelong hairstylist. She mentioned she enjoys challenging her patients to reconsider their styles every quarter because she believes that our inner aura rotates on a quarterly basis and is most likely to come to full fruition when the hair style is in line with the inner persona so I am all set for my next one! I saw all the positive reviews for Frankie so had my cut and color this past Saturday. She was warm and welcoming and there was a good vibe in the salon. I showed her a pic of the style I wanted from a previous cut I had had elsewhere and sadly it wasn't even close. I walked in with an adult amount of hair but walked out with a poorly done boy cut my granddaughter could have done. Yes, I should have stopped her once I realized she was hacking away but honestly, what can realistically be done now - nothing but time to allow the hair to grow back. Oddly, when I was walking out Frankie stated she thought was a cute cut - sure for a 5 year old. I should have spoken up for sure so I'm not entirely blaming Frankie but with all the positive reviews I've read what could go wrong- so I thought . I think the best she could have done was say / wow that didn't come out like I'd hope how about I try to clean it up and fix it. To her credit she said to contact her if I needed anything done. This review has been long over due... Don't waste your time with Gina she charges $180 for a balayage that's only a partial. She completely ruined my hair and I had to cut off the ends since they were completely burned. The cut was super uneven and choppy to make my hair look okay I had to spend more money on another stylist to actually fix it. Gina gives the run arounds and is not good on replying after doing my hair. I wanted to reschedule with her to at least fix the cut but she kept giving me different dates that I wasn't available on. After we agreed on a date I had to cancel for personal reasons and she never took me back on again. She's good to collect money but can't even put me in at a reasonable time. This is long overdue review. I went to Gina for my first balayage ever because I had virgin hair and she posted a good deal on Instagram. Her deal says balayage and cut for $150 and all her pictures show full balayages! Gina never once stated that she only does $150 for partial balayages so when I saw my hair I was so disappointed. It looked unfinished and just plain horrible. On top of that, she double booked so at one point she washed my hair and left me to take care another client, while I was left there cold because she washed my hair in cold water and not dried for THIRTY MINUTES!! I was literally shivering in the chair!! I tried contacting her about it and she said that she only does partial balayage usually?? Which doesn't make sense because she posts full bayalages on her Instagram. And if that were the issue, it'd be great to state that in the promo you're doing or when people book with you! She also stopped responding to my messages when I was unhappy with my hair which speaks for itself. Fusion Salon is an upscale salon in Tustin, tucked away in a quaint plaza. When you walk inside, the high ceilings and silver steel accents, with gorgeous natural lighting flowing in from every direction give the salon a hip, urban feel. My stylist, Frankie, took time with me to understand what I wanted. I had not had color in a long time, and wanted to do something fresh. She is amazing at balayage, and then did a color melt over that! She laboriously painted on different shades, and even though my hair had red, orange, blue, and purple on it, the color looked totally natural, not like that artificial "mermaid" style. As the color has faded I have naturally beachy looking balayage on my waves, making for a low maintenance program every morning when I get ready. Frankie also kills it with my haircuts. My hair is curly and unruly, and I have waaaayyy too much of it. She layers it in such a way that it is lighter and has bounce. Again, the best hair styles for me are the low maintenance ones. When I can roll out of bed and not worry about how my hair looks because I know it looks good, I have a stellar day, every day. I will never trust my hair to anyone else read more

Today, I came in fix my hair because my engagement photos are tomorrow. I had green hair and the weirdest hair cut from another lady. Hannah took care of me, she was the sweetest. I've seen alot of bitter ladies that are impatient and hated their jobs. Hannah was really down to earth and seemed like she loved what she does. Shannon is amazing! I went to her and my hair was awful, thin, broken, super bleached and damaged. I wanted extensions. My extensions look so natural no one even knows it's fake lol! I've had them in for about 5 months and they still look as good as they did when she first did them. She was so honest on what would be best for my hair.
