I saw all the positive reviews for Frankie so had my cut and color this past Saturday. She was warm and welcoming and there was a good vibe in the salon. I showed her a pic of the style I wanted from a previous cut I had had elsewhere and sadly it wasn't even close. I walked in with an adult amount of hair but walked out with a poorly done boy cut my granddaughter could have done. Yes, I should have stopped her once I realized she was hacking away but honestly, what can realistically be done now - nothing but time to allow the hair to grow back. Oddly, when I was walking out Frankie stated she thought was a cute cut - sure for a 5 year old. I should have spoken up for sure so I'm not entirely blaming Frankie but with all the positive reviews I've read what could go wrong- so I thought . I think the best she could have done was say / wow that didn't come out like I'd hope how about I try to clean it up and fix it. To her credit she said to contact her if I needed anything done. Sorry, too much "wrong" going on now. Best to let it grow a bit. First pic is what I wanted other pics are what I got.

This review has been long over due... Don't waste your time with Gina she charges $180 for a balayage that's only a partial. She completely ruined my hair and I had to cut off the ends since they were completely burned. The cut was super uneven and choppy to make my hair look okay I had to spend more money on another stylist to actually fix it. Gina gives the run arounds and is not good on replying after doing my hair. I wanted to reschedule with her to at least fix the cut but she kept giving me different dates that I wasn't available on. After we agreed on a date I had to cancel for personal reasons and she never took me back on again. She's good to collect money but can't even put me in at a reasonable time. On top of that she didn't even listen to what I wanted and did whatever she wanted to my hair.

This is long overdue review. I went to Gina for my first balayage ever because I had virgin hair and she posted a good deal on Instagram. Her deal says balayage and cut for $150 and all her pictures show full balayages! Gina never once stated that she only does $150 for partial balayages so when I saw my hair I was so disappointed. It looked unfinished and just plain horrible. On top of that, she double booked so at one point she washed my hair and left me to take care another client, while I was left there cold because she washed my hair in cold water and not dried for THIRTY MINUTES!! I was literally shivering in the chair!! I tried contacting her about it and she said that she only does partial balayage usually?? Which doesn't make sense because she posts full bayalages on her Instagram. And if that were the issue, it'd be great to state that in the promo you're doing or when people book with you! She also stopped responding to my messages when I was unhappy with my hair which speaks for itself. The picture I have attached is what she left me before I went to someone else to fix a sloppy job she did!

Kendra did a fantastic job in cutting and styling my Sister Charlotte's hair. We walk in the Salon with no appointment and she immediately took us in after asking how much they charge for a haircut. Kendra, was really patient and listened as to how my sister want her hair cut. We both told Kendra my Sister's daily routine and for Kendra not to style her hair as if she was going to a special occasion of some type. I treated my sister for a new haircut and new look that's easy to manage and appropriate for her age. Kendra was able to achieve the practical hairstyle me and my sister both wanted. I will strongly recommend Kendra to anybody!!! A bonus according to my Sister Charlotte is that Kendra has very soft and light hands.

Fusion Salon is an upscale salon in Tustin, tucked away in a quaint plaza. When you walk inside, the high ceilings and silver steel accents, with gorgeous natural lighting flowing in from every direction give the salon a hip, urban feel. My stylist, Frankie, took time with me to understand what I wanted. I had not had color in a long time, and wanted to do something fresh. She is amazing at balayage, and then did a color melt over that! She laboriously painted on different shades, and even though my hair had red, orange, blue, and purple on it, the color looked totally natural, not like that artificial "mermaid" style. As the color has faded I have naturally beachy looking balayage on my waves, making for a low maintenance program every morning when I get ready. Frankie also kills it with my haircuts. My hair is curly and unruly, and I have waaaayyy too much of it. She layers it in such a way that it is lighter and has bounce. Again, the best hair styles for me are the low maintenance ones. When I can roll out of bed and not worry about how my hair looks because I know it looks good, I have a stellar day, every day. I will never trust my hair to anyone else

Do not use Tony naisbitt for perms. she ruined my hair by using a perm for regular hair instead of one for colored hair and then blamed it on me for over processing my hair. she made mistake and then blamed me for her goof up. don't use her. read more

Just got my hair done by Kendra She was very attentive Since I had long unmanageable hair First she washed my hair Combed them and cut them in layers as I discussed with her.. then she gave me a blow dry to finish it off... and the price was very competitive 32$ for a hair cut along with 15% tip additional which was worth it... definetely going there again.... read more

I was recently driving home from a long day at the office and was in bumper to bumper traffic. A few thoughts came to mind, one being- I have to exit soon because my grandma always said, don't drive if you don't have your Diet Coke to thrive! I exited the freeway and immediately got lost because I am never in this part of town. I ended up in this salon's parking lot and parked my '04 Toyota vehicle so I could safely look at my phone to guidance on how to arrive to my beverage! Next thing I know, there was a very nice lady who knocked on my window. I rolled it down and she mentioned that she is a hair stylist and giving out complimentary styling services when you buy a full haircut. I looked in the mirror and thought, "hm... I am in need of one and I do have a few minutes to spare, so why not?!" I let her know I was really interested in the offer and she then reassured me they have iced cold diet cokes in there! An offer I couldn't resist. The haircut did take a little longer than expected but overall it was worth every penny. I will definitely be coming back here and I am fairly confident I have found my lifelong hairstylist. She mentioned she enjoys challenging her patients to reconsider their styles every quarter because she believes that our inner aura rotates on a quarterly basis and is most likely to come to full fruition when the hair style is in line with the inner persona so I am all set for my next one! They also have a great lobby waiting area that is very safe and clean. read more

I love walking into Fusion Hair Salon because when I walk out I feel like a brand new ME - so refreshed and beautiful. My go to is Sandra Benitez, she's a hair goddess! Whether it's a haircut, blowout, style or full on color, she always goes that extra mile to make sure you're completely satisfied. The Salon itself has great energy. I moved to Tustin and needed to find a good hairdresser closer to home. Changing hairdressers can be scary. I did a long search and found Jez at Fusion. I'm so happy to have found Jez. He put me at ease immediately. He has great skills and he knew exactly how to sculpt my short hair to look great. I'll be going back to see him. TIP: When you go to Fusion you'll find it at the back of the shopping center. So go around to the left of El Torito to go around to the back of the shopping center. read more

Today, I came in fix my hair because my engagement photos are tomorrow. I had green hair and the weirdest hair cut from another lady. Hannah took care of me, she was the sweetest. I've seen alot of bitter ladies that are impatient and hated their jobs. Hannah was really down to earth and seemed like she loved what she does. I would 100% come back for a different style before my wedding date. Her prices are very reasonable, she took her time massaging my scalp and told me she curls everyone hair before they leave! I've had someone else at another shop charge me $15 extra dollars. Lol no thanks lady. I can curl my hair in an hour because I have such think hair, Hannah curled my hair in under 20 mins. Frankie has done my hair twice now and both times she did an amazing job! She has done color and a cut each time and it's turned out exactly what I wanted! I'm not the type to venture off and find a spot to get my haircut cause I haven't had the best experiences. When I came across fusion I must say I had such a great experience Frankie was super comforting and made me feel at ease and like a best friend was cutting my hair! Shannon is amazing! I went to her and my hair was awful, thin, broken, super bleached and damaged. I wanted extensions. My extensions look so natural no one even knows it's fake lol! I've had them in for about 5 months and they still look as good as they did when she first did them. She was so honest on what would be best for my hair. She didn't care about doing the most expensive thing, she wanted to make sure my hair would look good and be healthy before we even talked about the extensions. I was super nervous about going dark, but it looks amazing! I have never loved my hair more!!! All her work is amazing!!! Love love love her and will never have anyone else do my hair! However, you have to keep bleaching to keep the roots fresh and color grey hairs. My hair was dry and brassy, needed dimensions, deep conditioning, and toning. I needed a lowlight or reverse bayalage. I checked Groupons to save money but sometimes you're not getting their best work because it's cheaper and they're not getting as much money or sometimes they charge more for long hair etc. I even got turned away by one color expert called "Hair by Christopher" on Groupons who told me after looking at pictures of my hair, he responded "It's more work than I want to take on.I don't feel comfortable taking it on. Sorry." He claims he a color expert and had good reviews but he was not compassionate nor caring about my situation. Anyways, I checked yelp instead. I reached out to as many stylists I could that would respond right away, educate me, would answers my questions and had good reviews. I wasn't sure if anyone was going to be able to save my hair but I knew I needed lowlights and never had one plus I didn't want to lose all my highlights either. Vivian knew what I needed and what I wanted after communicating with her and sending pics etc. She wanted to work with me and gave me a better deal than Groupon and most stylists. She listened. She wanted to help me. I trusted my instincts and she made my hair look better than I imagined. You can see for yourself. She's efficient, unbelievable at multitasking, and is a hard worker. She doesn't waste your time and her attention is on your hair at all times. She saved me. I am ever so thankful for her. I would refer her to everyone. She doesn't overcharge. She helped save me from hundreds of dollars.

Although I generally frequent the salon in West Hollywood where I live, lately I have been going to the newest location in Orange County where I have been working.
