I have a 3-rail Kendon motorcycle trailer and one of the supporting tubes cracked. (2-stars for Kendon) I reached out to several welders in the Bay Area. After some scheduling issues we were finally able to find a date and time and worked and Fusion Welding was able to weld the frame back together for a very reasonable price. You can see the weld seam in the attached picture. Fusion offered to grind it down and smooth it out so it can be powder coated again at the expense. However, I declined and opted to for the additional strength a full weld seam offers over optics. Removed an existing trailer tongue wheel jack/connection point, modified a new connection point to fit better, welded to trailer, and painted over welds. I called Fusion Welding late afternoon and left a voicemail for repairing my aluminum eBike that had a structural failure. The welded kickstand peeled away from the frame and left a big hole. David, the owner returned my call. He asked several questions including me to send him pictures. I sent him several pictures. He returned the call to set up an appointment with an approximate time to repair along with his hourly labor for this repair. I accepted. He kept me apprised of his arrival time. When he arrived along with his aluminum welder (Luciano), they began immediate setup, explained how they were going repair the failure. Luciano removed all the powder coating around the affected area, cleaned all parts to be free of foreign material such , dirt, grease, etc., meticulously covered my bike to prevent burns, slag etc. (almost reminded me of surgery), then proceeded with the weld. Once welding was completed, Luciano deburred and blended the weld. Both David and Luciano thought that the failure was due to the weight of the bike, my bags , etc that probably caused metal fatigue since the area was thin. They built up the area to give extra strength, modified the kickstand from a round bottom to flat for stability. When they were done with my eBike, I mentioned that my Santa Maria BBQ had a broken weld. Luciano switch from aluminum to steel welding, custom fabricated a bracket and fixed my BBQ. I'm back on the road and BBQ again. I highly recommend Fusion Welding, friendly, professional and clean. read more

I had a fold out cot with a broken weld joint that was welded poorly at the factory. Dave was able to fit me in even though it was a small job and also gave a very good price. Recently, the backs of several of my "fancy" dining room chairs broke off their mounts. Turns out that the original welds were really light and shoddy, so it was just a matter of time before they failed. Fusion Welding was kind enough to take my small job and they did a great job of grinding out the old welds and then re-welding the backs to their mounts. Because of space requirements, the new welds had to be small but strong. Luciano at the shop first made the welds a normal size, and then ground them to where the mounts could again slide into the seat part of the chairs. Even after grinding, however, the new welds are way stronger than the old ones. Another plus was that Fusion charged me a very reasonable price. All in all, I completely recommend Fusion for any of your welding jobs. They're very accommodating and will make sure you're happy. read more
