The staff is always helpful and friendly. The cancellation process seems intentionally difficult. Be very careful before signing up. It is extremely difficult to cancel, and the company continues attempting to charge additional fees even after you request cancellation.

These guys are hands on and involved in the facility in every aspect (Malibu Fitness in Farmington as well). They are the nicest guys and actually listen to their members. If something breaks, it's fixed before the next day. They keep this place running smoothly and spotless! The clientele here is also one of the best groups of people I've ever met at a gym. The gym also quickly pivoted to offering Zoom classes at the beginning of the pandemic and continues tp offer one live Zoom every day along with sending out a recording. All of the equipment gets cleaned after each class and members have their own "square" to stay distanced during class. Another great aspect of the gym is that you get to know people on a personal level which makes coming to class something to look forward to.

They design my workouts very thoughtfully and make changes based on my physical situation when I come in. I am so much healthier, with excellent balance now and much more strength. It's worth it, totally. Original review: I've tried several gyms and absolutely love this one. It is attractive without being glitzy. It is kept very clean, and they take a lot of pride in keeping the equipment in good shape. Even as a flabby senior, I feel so comfortable there; there is no competition with other members. People are very friendly, and I've had nice conversations with other members. The trainers are wonderful and very knowledgeable. After two months, I feel like a million bucks. No matter what level of fitness you have, there is something there for you, from basic low-level Curves equipment (in its own room) to the high-caliber super-fit stuff. It's a very positive place.

I've been going here for most of the last two years, and have been debating doing a review because…read moreI want to call it 3 stars, but because it's my gym I was feeling like I should bump it up to 4. But, that's not fair. There are cheaper gyms out there, that are half price or less just for a membership to walk in the door. And they have a more updated facility with more fans and better AC. Sooooo, I go here for the classes, because accountability helps me show up. But it's hot and dated and it's frustrating. It's especially frustrating because I've been to the Glastonbury location that looks newer and more up to date, AND I just learned they are getting a renovation!!!! Perhaps if this place didn't look so dated, more folks would want to join. But, location, location, location. There was a fabulous coach I started with almost two years ago that I loved and really knew his stuff and talked us through accountability with eating and which muscle groups we were working on in each class, and the correct form to do each exercise. He got me hooked. He is the reason I joined and now the location is just so convenient that I've stayed. But they need to make some changes to be as good as they can be and to get more folks in there. Especially now that there's a new stoplight right there to get in and out to and from the Berlin Turnpike rather than making a u-turn like I've been doing for years. I hope someone reads this listens, before I go elsewhere once my one year plan is up.
