It is easy to schedule walks, and Steven is very accommodating to our busy work schedules which is reassuring knowing our dog will be walked, fed and looked after either early in the morning, or later in the afternoon. Last minute changes happen and Steven hasn't charged cancellation fees, but he also has been able to schedule walks with little notice. Steven and Heather are amazing! They have been watching our dog for about two years now. Our first experience with them was when we went to Scotland for Christmas. Our flight back to San Diego was canceled in London and without hesitation they told us they would take care of our dog until we made it home. I was referred to fuzzy buddies by a friend of mine who used their services. I complained to my friend how expensive it was to board our two dogs and how it took several days for them to fall back into their normal routine while we were away not to mention kennel cough. I cannot say enough good things about Heather and Steven. They are amazing people who obviously love taking care of animals. Before they watched our two dogs they both came to the house to meet us and our wuppies. They were very professional. They brought all of their documents showing their license, insurance, etc. They took copious notes on what the dogs eat, when they eat, treat schedule and any other particulars. They were so thorough and asked questions I had not even thought to ask. Heather and Steven also asked if we wanted them to water our plants or take out our trash while we were gone, which was so sweet. However, I declined knowing that taking care of our two dogs was more than enough work! We have used them many times and will continue to use them whenever we travel. They are very responsive as well. They return emails, text messages and phone calls promptly. There was even a day when my husband was gone and I was going to be at a work seminar until late in the evening. I emailed Heather and Steven to see if they could take care of the dogs on such short notice and they responded immediately that they would take care of it, which put my mind at ease. Their prices are very reasonable and much cheaper than boarding the dogs. However, more important than the price is that our dogs are so much happier when we go away. They get to stay in their own house, eat their own food and have two great folks walk and play with them. I suspect our dogs would like us to take more vacations. I was very nervous about going out of town and leaving our dogs at home. We did not want to leave our dogs in a kennel. I called Steve and spoke with him and Heather. We did an over the phone interview after reading the yelp reviews. We were comfortable with them coming to our house and feeding the dogs twice a day as well as walking them in the morning for an hour and a half hour in the evening. We left on Friday early and came back Sunday late afternoon. We found the dogs in good shape and happy to see us. The house was left in same condition as when we left. Great Job. Steven and Heather are THE BEST!!! We left our Goldendoodle in their care for a week, and I felt very comfortable doing so. Steven was in contact with me via text and that was great. He came twice a day to excercize and feed her. My husband was at work, while I was on vacation with the kids. I know our pup looked forward to his visits!!! Most importantly, he saved her life when he came for her final morning visit and found that she had knocked my husbands medicine off the counter and eaten it! He rushed her to the emergency vet and stayed with her until we decided to keep her there for observation until we got home from vacation that evening.
