Couldn't recommend Eileen enough! She was amazing with our sensitive dog. She was patient, understanding and went at his speed and it shows! Our dog is sensitive and doesn't make best friends easily, but he loves her. Every photo she sent us he was smiling and looking like his silly self! She sent us tons of detailed updates, gps maps when she took him on walks and even helped make him a bland diet after he was sick during her 10 day stay with him. We were really nervous leaving our guy with someone new, but she made us feel comfortable and in the loop the entire time. Thank you Eileen!!!! I'm so Thankful I met Eileen. She takes wonderful care of my furbabies. I have 3 babies, 1 Pekingese & 2 Shih Tzu's. I had a bad experience taking my pups to a boarding place for pups. I never wanted to leave my dogs anywhere again. Eileen's been taking care of my pups since 2023. I only trust her & her assistance in taking care of my babies. She comes to my house twice a day, feeds, & walks them. She also will clean up any potty messes that my babies will make, including cleaning up their bowls after my pups finish eating. Taking care of 3 pups is a handful. She's been able to take care of all 3 with no issues. She always checks in with updates & cute pictures of my babies. What a blessing it was to find Eileen. My neighbor who normally takes care of my pets had a family emergency but luckily I was able to find Eileen a few weeks before my long-awaited vacation. It is very comforting to know that she is a veterinarian's assistant as well. We booked her last minute but she was very kind and accommodating with what we thought was an unusual circumstance. We had not gone on a vacation for many years because I couldn't find a good dog sitter for my five dogs. I visited several facilities that had very good reviews but my dogs didn't fit the environment. I was very lucky to have found "One Paw at a Time". Eileen was great. She made sure each one of my five dogs was fed, walked, and medicated. One of my fur babies has seizures and must have his medicine with his dinner every evening. I have five dogs and they require hand feeding and timely treats, Eileen kept meticulous notes and reviewed each of my dogs feeding times, walking schedules and sleeping status. My dogs were very well taken care of while we were gone. She spent quality time with each one. I would definitely call her again because now my dogs can stay home with a caring, loving pet sitter. She was able to stay in my home and sleep with my fur babies while my son and I had a stress free adventure. read more
