We have been to Fuzzy's several times and have always been satisfied with our order. Happy hour is definitely worth stopping for. The frozen Sangria Rita Swirl is fabulous. Last visit I went with the grilled chicken on my nachos and did not like the taste or the quantity of meat on them. I would recommend the shredded chicken over the grilled chicken. Being from the West Coast of the US, I kinda prefer the favor of Tacos as they are made in California, Arizona and New Mexico. Tampa Tacos seem to me to have a "Caribbean flavor," if there is such a thing. So I didn't hold out much hope for finding my favorite flavor when I saw Fuzzy's Tacos. But I was enthralled as soon as I entered Fuzzy's the other day. They had Fish Tacos!!! A California specialty! And they offered it two ways: California style and another option that I'm guessing is "Caribbean style" or whatever it's called. Anyway, my California style (not called that on the menu) was authentic in flavor and tasted GREAT! On my next visit, I'll give the other choice a shot because you never know. I know this is a chain but I always wanted to try it! Switch it up from the usual Chipotle or Tijuana Flats. Needless to say, it was great! I signed up for the rewards before I ordered and got these free churros as my birthday reward! They were warm and so tasty! Fuzzy's in Lutz is unfortunately not what it used to be. When it first opened, both the food and the service were great, but our recent visit was extremely disappointing. As soon as we walked in, the woman at the counter--a middle-aged woman with heavily drawn dark eyebrows--was immediately rude. Before even greeting us, she told us we needed to take our (very well-behaved) dog outside. We've brought our dog in before while ordering and then sat on the dog-friendly patio with no issues. She never asked whether the dog was a service animal and refused to even let us order before stepping back outside. I completely understand if their policy has changed, but there is a customer-friendly way to communicate that, and this wasn't it. A simple, "Is this a service animal?" followed by, "I'm so sorry, but unfortunately we can't have dogs inside," would have gone a long way. The service continued downhill from there. I asked about the difference between grilled and shredded chicken and chose grilled. When my order came out, it was shredded. When I took it back, instead of apologizing or simply fixing it, the same woman told me, "You ordered shredded," before agreeing to replace it. Again--totally unnecessary and not good customer service. On top of all that, the food itself was barely warm. The rice, beans, and tacos were all room-temperature at best. Overall, this experience was such a letdown that I'm not sure we'll be returning. This location used to be great, but the service and food quality have really gone downhill. read more

If you are in the mood for classic American tacos this would be a great option for you. I went for lunch and I tried the chicken quesadilla and it was tasty, juicy and full of flavor. They also offer fun dishes like taco bowls, nacho-loaded tacos and chips to share with friends. The inside of the restaurant is clean and colorful, they also have outdoor seating. The service was pretty quick almost like a fast food restaurant and the staff were friendly at all times even during the lunch hour rush. We tried this restaurant once before when it was newly opened and the experience was not great but we figured it could've been due to the how busy they were at the time. We decided to give them another chance, which was our mistake. The employees are very aloof, the food took 40 minutes from the time we ordered to receive (after multiple complaints and talking to the manager). The staff was not apologetic at all. The restaurant is a few months old. It's nice inside. The staff was friendly especially their GM. The bar area was nice but nobody was drinking while I was there. They had two sauces which are located next to their drink machine. One was really hot as indicated on the bottle and the other labeled original was pretty hot too. I wish they had one with a little less heat. The chips were really good but the Queso Ed Pretty plain and lacked flavor. The tacos were pretty big but all three I had were just average. There needs to be more seasoning so you're not forced to use a hot sauce for flavor. I'll go back again and hope that today was just an off day for them. read more

I love tacos, so jumped when a friend suggested this place for lunch. You can walk up and order a the counter and pick up your food, or sit at a high top near the bar and receive table service. We chose the high top tables. We ordered a few drinks, mini fishbowls that tasted kind of like a rum runner, with a parrot bay floater, and they were decent sized and tasty, but a little on the weak side. My friend ordered the chips and queso with beef, and two tacos: it seemed like a lot of food, so I one crispy carnitas taco. I liked the chips and ate too many. My friend loved her tempura fish taco. My carnitas taco tasted more like seasoned shredded beef and I wasn't sure expecting that...I wasn't crazy about it but I was hungry so I ate it. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ok Fuzzy's and "Megan" the GM, it's time to face the facts here and revisit training and execution. The reviews are all saying the same things. Slow service, order accuracy issues, and cold food. How many more poor reviews till you do something about it? Add me to the long list of people with poor experiences who only visited based Fuzzy's in other states. I ordered and waited 21 mins for my order. I ordered the trio of dips, a 2 taco plate, and a burrito. When my order was finally handed to me I asked the guy, "it's all in here?" He says, "Yes, I packed it myself". Yeah...no way I thought so I opened the bag. Guess what, missing the beans for the 2 taco plate and no chips or dips. Good grief, not even close. He sheepishly apologized as did one of the cooks but clearly this is a consistent problem here. Drove home and the food is ice cold, lovely. I'd love to say I'm surprised but based on all of the other reviews I'm clearly not. Megan, some advice: 1) Hire some cooks with experience. One guy had an AirPod in his ear and clearly wasn't paying attention. The other male cook was working his tail off. 2) The female "manager" popped up on the line at one point but quickly disappeared. Can we get a hat or hair net on her? 3) Staff the register. People shouldn't have to wait to order at a takeout restaurant at prime dinner time. 4) Adjust the suggested tip percentages. 18% is obnoxious for a takeout taco shop. read more

Tried Fuzzy's for lunch recently after driving by many times. They were not busy so we were able to order quickly. I went with a shredded chicken burrito and some nachos. Halfway through I realize the burrito was missing guac but no problem, I asked for some and was able to have it on the side. They have this garlic cream sauce that is used on many of their items, including in the burrito. It has a very strong garlic flavor and isn't bad but I would ask for my food without it in the future, it's just not the flavor I prefer in my tacos and burritos. I added some of their hot sauce which offset that garlic flavor a bit and overall the burrito was pretty good. Flavor wise, the burrito didn't have much without the garlic or hot sauce but that could also be due to no guac/pico. The nachos on the other hand were really delicious - probably the queso they use and the ground beef, lots of flavor. The chips are thinner so they do get soggy pretty fast but still good, just hard to eat at times. They don't have the usual extra nacho toppings but overall, it was tasty and i enjoyed it. Service for pickup was great! They greeted me and let me know status of my order. Clearly marked area and separate entrance/parking to make it even easier. Problem is if you have any distance to go... food (especially tacos) probably won't make it. Our fish taco was way over cooked (maybe cause such a tiny piece of grilled fish didn't help either). It doesn't help that they are rolled up in foil and then placed inside brown bag and then in plastic bag. So I like to give them some leeway for part of it. However the quality of a fish taco was pretty pathetic. Shrimp tacos were better (although shrimpy shrimp). Lol Fajitas travel much better and come w tortillas so you can just make tacos when you get home. I really wanted to rave about them since I had such good experience w them in Texas. Like I'm talking my enchilada was a small flour tortilla with a piece of meat and that's it wrapped in foil. I straight up got scammed, take those pictures off your website shit ain't accurate at all. The soda was flat too. Don't even get me started on the burrito. Never coming here again. If you ain't got authentic Mexican food don't advertise like you do. If I could get my money back I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I was a regular and tipped very well. One of the barmaids hit me up for $50.00 one day to pay for her ticket. Being a nice guy I gave it to her. Never got paid back. Another one listened in on a private political conversation and yelled at me saying I wasn't allowed to talk politics at "her bar". Both these barmaids got you to order shots for you and them. First time in and last. They cook on a dirty griddle. I got a breakfast burrito and when I bit into it I thought I got an egg shell. I thought ok whatever it's got egg. But as I took the next bite there was black pieces of chard all over it. There was probably 50 pieces big and small. It was hard and sharp as an egg shell. A griddle is the easiest piece of cooking equipment to clean and they cooked the food on it dirty. There was about 5 cooks in the back as well. Super lazy workers. This is completely unacceptable.
