Came to fuzzy's on a Wednesday night with the wife... You walk up to the front counter and order your food. I got a shredded chicken burrito and chips and guac... The wife got a breakfast burrito. The guac was good. The chips were very thin and greasy... so yuck. My burrito was ok I guess not really good not really bad. Chipotle, Qdoba and Moe's have better burritos. My big beef about this place is the work flow... You order chips and guac and they give you a ticket to go back to where the waitresses? Hang out. There is not really a proper counter to pick stuff up from and there are a bunch of customers awkwardly hanging out by the "not a counter". Also they give you a pager that goes off when your entree is ready. So you then need to go back to the "not a counter" to get your food with the cooks awkwardly staring at you holding this pager that is going off. You must get your own drinks which is straight forward process. Why are there waitresses and how can you utilize them without pissing them off. What is their actual job? This place should be run like Panera... With an actual counter to pick your food up. Arrrg I gave a 20% tip when I bought the food. This tipping thing is getting out of hand if I have to do all the running around. Ditch the waitresses they do nothing. ---Additional Thoughts 7-15-2023--- I said be more like Panera... Well I just went to Panera on Waters (We call it BreadCo in the STL) and they have a broken process too. They don't have drink cups available at the kiosk where you make your order. The kiosk instructions say take your cups and have a seat and wait for your number to be called. Well no cups! After waiting in line for the counter guy I ask him, where are the cups... We visited for the first time this week. We didn't enjoy our food at all, we will try one more time in case it was an off night or they are still getting settled since they are a new location. Ordering and seating was a bit confusing with part of the restaurant being self serving and the other full service (however sit where you want if one is full after you order). Tables were dirty (hadn't been cleaned after people left and spray bottles sitting on some of them). I had a chicken fajita taco salad, I thought the feta was a bit odd but it tasted okay. The seasoning on the chicken wasn't good to me and for sure wasn't good with the dressing I chose (some type of vinaigrette with feta/garlic) the kicker was the tenders hadn't had the membrane removed, and were dry, ugh! My husband didn't eat his beef tacos either, but said the rice was good. They also forgot his margarita and he had to go back up twice and wait on it, food came before his drink was ready. I'm at hard taco type of guy, if I want a soft taco, I would just get a burrito. These tacos are basic at best. The place is cute and people are friendly but the tacos weren't anything to write home about. The ground beef tasted a little burnt and greasy and the chicken was dry. They didn't have any green hot sauce either, but the green chimichurri sauce they had was decent. If I want good hard tacos I'll just stay with Chipotle because they're corn taco shells are really good and their meat and ingredients are always fresh. read more

I'm updating my review and unfortunately, lowering my stars. The last 2 take out orders we've ordered have not been the best experiences. First, it takes FOREVER. Both times we've ordered in the restaurant (and the restaurant does not seem busy) and the wait is so long. Yesterday, I waited over 20 minutes. Last time, my husband placed the order and came home and my order was chicken and not brisket (receipt said brisket). I just ate it anyway, after you wait that long you never want to go back! Yesterday after waiting, I specifically asked as I was taking my bags "you sure it's all in here?" As I looked at the receipt. I was assured it was checked and good to go. I get all the way home and my brisket bowl is missing. I was legitimately super upset, as I'd already waited 20+ minutes for it to even be ready. I called and was offered either a refund or a remake. How about a refund and a remake? I'm not usually one to complain but after waiting that long and to drive all the way home and still not have my food, I was quite hangry. My husband went back to get it for me (so now his tacos are cold) and the bowl was not worth it. It was as if it had been sitting out and not fresh. Visited twice since this location has been open. The first visit was ok. We sat at the bar tables and had a decent experience, albeit spent over $60 for 2 adults including 2 drinks. This time we ordered from the counter and didn't have a great experience. The person working the counter didn't describe portion size correctly so we ordered way more food than we could eat, and paid for extra condiments because we were told the plates didn't come with them (they did.) It took a really long time for our food to be ready, and I could see part of our order sitting on the counter for quite while (at least 10 mins) before they buzzed us. All in it was over $40 for 2 people, including the 18% tip (lowest preset tip option on the machine other than no tip) which I feel is asking a lot for counter service. Very pricey, especially since we didn't order any cocktails or beers, and the food was just ok. read more

I went on a Wednesday at 3pm. Approximately 4 other people ordering at the time. It was staffed very well but they just opened. I had never been to a Fuzzy's before so I asked the girl at the counter what I should get. She recommended the enchilada platter so I got it with some rice and black beans. It was very strange because I have had enchiladas at several different places and I have never seen them like this. It was two very dry tortillas with just shredded chicken inside... no cheese or sauces or vegis at all. The chicken was very salty and lacked flavor. I added the hot sauce and that was pretty good. The place was very clean and had a pretty cool vibe with a full bar. I will definitely give this place another try for that reason, but I would shy away from what they call enchiladas. read more

Fuzzy's Taco shops are great, it's a huge chain, food is excellent and frozen margaritas are awesome too. Food may take a little longer than some other fast serve type restaurants, but worth the wait . Been to this location several times since they opened just a few months ago, and service is on point. Nice bar, cool place, brand spanking new! I was very disappointed with service yesterday 9/14 , prior to being served I was going to leave but changed my mind and stayed. There were only a few customers there. Sat at the bar because I was dining alone. The bartender was having a conversation with a couple at the bar that seemed like regulars. 2 men came in after me and sat at the bar and were immediately attended to. I sat a little longer and was never greeted. Seemed like the bartender intentionally avoided eye contact with me as she continued to conversing with the couple. Once she looked I asked her "do you take orders at the bar" at that time she finally decided to acknowledge me, and handed me a menu and waited for my order. The counter in front of me seemed to be recently occupied the payment device a used straw and water most likely from drink condensation was on the counter and I assumed she would see it when she retrieved the payment device, but nope she retrieved the device and set my drink on the dirty counter in from of me, I grabbed a paper towel and begin to wipe the space in front of me at that time she grabbed the bar towel and finished wiping the mess. The food came out really quickly' everything which was a plus but did not seem to be cooked to order which was ok but the temperature was cold even the queso was thick and wasn't really hot. The bartender never came back to check on me, to see if I wanted another drink, nothing .... However I watched her be fully attentive to all the other customers even ones who arrived after me. Once I finished my food and pushed everything closer to the inside of the bar she returned and just stood in front of me not saying a word, I stared back for a minute then asked for my check since she clearly wasn't going to offer her assistance 1st. It was a very awkward encounter and I hate to say it but I was the only person of color there, and the only person that wasn't attended to. read more

I feel bad for the workers it is clear they are overworked and undertrained and that's not their fault. Nice looking place, was really looking forward to trying this place and was disappointed. We sat at the bar and had about a one hour window to get a drink and a late lunch. We put our order in letting the bartender know we had a tight schedule. However, since they opened the "Happy Hour button" hasn't been activated by "corporate."
