The service sucks! The service provided now is not what it was when they originally opened. The food is still good. The patio is crowded with too many tables and chairs that are too large. There is not enough wait staff, you are only served small glasses of water with lemons that appear to have been previously used, and glasses were certainly not refilled! Chips and salsa are a purchase item. We were told that we would have to go inside to pick up our food rather than it be served on the patio. Upon receipt of the cheque, we waited ten minutes before deciding that no one was going to collect it. So, we had to go inside to pay. Need, I say more, but, staff were walking around everywhere! We like to get here on occasion from just Mexican fast food. A good place to eat. If the wife wasn't on a diet would eat here more often.

If you know what good Mexican food is, don't go here you might want to go to Taco Cabana's or Taco Bell instead and I don't like eating at either of those places either. Store bought tortillas and food had no flavor. Read the ratings and believe what you read from 1-2 stars. I should have read the reviews before my stop. Google has a 4 star rating (not). Yelp has 3.5 (definitely closer to this). read more

Went to fuzzy's for breakfast. When I went to pour the tea, flies flew out of the spout like the plague. I informed the cashier who took the container of tea to the back and returned seconds later... Which means she did not clean the container. She then went and sat at a table where I could see her laughing and heard her say to a co-worker that I had flies in my drink. She never apologized, never offered me a new cup or refund. When I approached her about a new cup, she rolled her eyes at me. I finally told her I wasn't going to be drinking their tea and requested a refund and her manager's card, to which she replied that she didn't think they had any business cards. I told her I was certain they had a card and I suggested she find one. She returned with a card, but not once did anyone apologize or offer to rectify the situation.... Bottom line, this fuzzy's is disgusting, had terrible customer service, and I will NOT be returning! read more

I will not spend another dime at this fuzzys location out of principle. I have not ever written a Yelp review and am generally a fan of fuzzys but felt my experience warranted a review. After I had finished my meal I went up to the front of the store to order some tacos to-go for a colleague. While i was checking out I looked on my tab and realized I was being charged an additional $1.50 for a re-fill. I never indicated to the person taking orders I wanted a re-fill charge and when I asked about it I got a confused response and was told my drink looked empty. So I guess this means you can tack on an additional fee to your customers when they don't even ask for it. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

As our journey of trying new restaurants continued, Fuzzy's was next on the list. The menu is pretty big, which was surprising, so hubby had the combo plate and I got 2 tacos, with a side of chips and queso. Hubby said his crispy beef taco and beef enchilada were very good, but the portion was smaller than expected, and he would definitely add a taco next time we order. I had the grilled shrimp taco and tempura shrimp taco. Both were really good and the shrimp were a pretty good size. I liked the garlic sauce on both tacos and look forward to trying them again as well as the fish tacos and crawfish tacos. The chips and queso were a little different, but good. I did not care for the "Fuzzy Dust" because it made the chips too salty, but they were not on every chip, which was fine with me. The queso, which was a white queso was really good. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Sunday night and the food came out in a reasonable time, given that it is made to order. The Fuzzy hot sauce also had good flavor, but I miss the pico/salsa bar you usually find at taco places. The prices are really reasonable and comparable to Taco Cabana. Overall, we will definitely be back and look forward to trying many of the other menu options. read more

This location has gotten better as it has been open longer. The food is so-so. Love the chips and queso. The salsa is also very good. Can't go wrong with those. One time my food came out kind of cold and they promptly made me a new order so I can't complain as they were very helpful and there's always mishaps in every restaurant. This place...interesting. The entire kitchen staff should be fired. I have never seen three people so angry to do their job - you do not give me a complete order and you are appalled that I want the $54 worth of food ordered. I have heard great things about Fuzzy's infamous tacos. I bought a grilled fish taco and an enchilada plate. I was excited to get my food, but soon I was disappointed. The Enchiladas did taste freshly cooked. They tasted like old tamales. The grilled fish taco lacked the fish and looked unappetizing. It seems like the cooks rushed my food. I would not recommend anyone going to this Fuzzy's Taco shop. Taco Bell would have been a better experience than this shop. read more

I love fuzzys spicy pork nachos. Unfortunately when you get food to go triple check every item everytime. They always leave something off or for whatever reason put no meat or cheese on the nachos. Everytime I forget to check one item that's the one they screw up. Once I went back because they forgot my extra side of meat and the kitchen argued about giving me more than a minor pinch that I had paid for and they forgot. This is probably the worst mexican restaurant i have ever been to and one of the worst all time restaurants ever. The employees just walk past you like you are not even there then when they talk to you they are super mean and do not help with your questions. when i got my food it looked terrible and i mean absolutely disgusting. the bread was hard and the meat did not taste real. this should not be called food and the employees should not be called workers. Hit or miss. When its good, its good. I rarely complain but this has been bizarre. Three times I ordered nachos. The second time they were empty, only cheese. Today I ordered a burrito, which I've had before, but this time it came out with no cheese, no guacamole, and no meat. I cut it all apart and found only lettuce and tomatoes. No big deal, things happen. I brought it back up to the counter so they could see for themselves. She asked me what was missing. I looked up at the menu and read the description to her. She said she would have another one made. Ok cool. About 5-10 minutes later a guy came back out, with the same plate in hand, presented it to me and asked, "What was wrong with this burrito? You can tell a lot about a Mexican restaurant by tasting the salsa. The salsa at Fuzzy's is awful!!! And, they charge you for it!!! I guess they do that so you don't find out how bad it is until AFTER you've paid for it. If I'd known how bad the salsa was before I ordered my meal and paid for it, I wouldn't have wasted my money. I don't understand all the hype about this place. I have tried several different locations and had the same experience. Two star at best. I love fish tacos. The grilled ones here are awful. Second time to visit and such a disappointment. We really enjoyed the first time at Fuzzy's Mansfield so of course we would repeat but I guess you don't come here at 9pm when they close at 10pm. They were already cleaning the kitchen and all three of us had cold food. We had to ask to have our meals microwaved just to get through it so we can say we ate. Spent almost $30 and left feeling very cheated. Even knowing how unsatisfactory things were, there were no offers to make it better. 3/4 of my nachos went in the trash along with half of our son's burrito. I'm one that normally goes out of my way to compliment and not so much to complain but things were so disappointing that I just couldn't avoid it. :( I guess if you are going to visit, go early or just for drinks. read more

Food is consistent. Margaritas are pretty good and priced right. You get more food if you tell them it's 'to go'. Then just eat it there. Queso is really good. The Fuzzy Dust is good. Buy some and take it home with you. read more

Now that I have been here 3 times I think I am ready to rate it. I haven't tried new things yet because all I want to eat is their taco plate so I get shredded chicken and tempura fish. Make sure you through a little hot sauce on there!
