I put off doing the roof as long as I could but this spring, I could wait no more. I found Altitude Contracting here on Yelp, but they were also recommended by my Allstate agent as well. I called them and Kyle Schroder the owner got right back with me to set up a time to come look at the house. He came and gave us an estimate and then went to work to help me file a claim with Allstate. As it turns out, Allstate was pretty hard to work with and Kyle went above and beyond to get Allstate to pay what they should. Once we were able to get Allstate on board, Kyle and company went to work. While it took 3 months to get Allstate to pay, it only took Altitude ONE DAY to do the roof from start to finish. They not only replaced the felt and shingles, but also the vent covers, flashing and all the other metal. It looked FABULOUS and when I looked around at the end of the day, you absolutely could not tell they had been there other than having great looking shingles. No trash, no debris, no nails or screws left behind to get in your tires. Perfect job. Now, they absolutely were NOT the cheapest (I had gotten quotes for up to 2000.00 less). However, I have had several roofs done over the years at various properties and Altitude was the fastest and most professional roofing company I have ever worked with. I hope not to need a roof again for several years, if ever. However if I do, I will definitely use Altitude Contracting again. You will not go wrong with these guys!!

I was assigned to his services via Accuserve an agency that my insurer Safeco partners with to connect homeowners with vetted and screened, quality, independent roofers and contractors. Steve arrive at my home for the appointment a little early, he called me and I stated I was 5 minutes from my house. When I arrived home he was already on my property with his ladder and computer set up. We began discussing what the inspection would entail and he stated that to proceed with the inspection he needed me to sign a contract that I would use him for the repairs. I stated that this was NOT how the field adjustor, Holly Rigsby at Accuserve had explained the program. My understanding was that Accurserve connected me with vetted contractors and an additional warranty was provided through Safeco/Accuserve on the work if I chose to hire the Accuserve affiliated contractor. Holly had said I was free to also get direct estimates from unaffliated contractors and decide who I was most comfortable with for best rate and quality if hail damage was discovered during the inspection. At this point Steve became quite assertive insisting I had to sign the contract for him to commit two hours to doing the inspection. I explained I was not going to do this without having two other objective estimates. I asked him to leave my property, but sat parked on the street in front of my house a while longer which made me uncomfortable. I immediately called Holly Rigsby and spoke with Angelisa who stated that this was NOT the standard practice for Accuserve certified contractors. I was able to schedule an inspection with another contractor through Accuserve for this afternoon. It was a difficult and poor customer service experience. I have no knowledge of the quality of his work but very much disliked his customer service and pressuring me to sign a contract on the spot.

We experienced hail damage to our 1980's brown bubbled skylights. We were so excited to be able to get new updated clear skylights. I did lots of research looking for the right company to do our repairs. We found Skylight Specialists and decided to give them a call for an estimate quote for our insurance company. I spoke with Josh Ewing. He was very knowledgeable about the products, product options, and provided us an estimate for our insurance company quicker than expected. We decided to go through Skylight Specialists and Josh Ewing got everything handled and got our materials on order. Mike called once all the materials arrived to schedule but unfortunately our HOA decided to replace the roofs so it put our skylights on hold for a couple of months. Skylight Specialists were amazing with holding on to our materials and being patient while we waited for the roof to be replaced. Once the roof was replaced, Mike setup the install for us. Kenny and Devin arrived promptly even earlier than expected which was awesome and they completed the job sooner than I had expected. The quality of the materials, the installation, and customer service received during this whole experience was top notch. I was in the closing process on my home sale and timelines were both tight and constantly shifting. Glen and his team remained flexible and very supportive through the whole process. They offered multiple solutions for the issues with my old roof. We closed the sale on time and it just wouldn't have happed without this company handling the roof. Ultimately we went with a full replacement. Pricing to value couldn't be beat. The other quotes I received were either so low that they were suspect or so high that I knew I'd have been paying for their flashy trucks and advertisements. Denver Roof Pros is an honest local business doing it right! You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't consider this company for your roofing needs. I'm a retired systems engineer and so had the time and inclination to research the roofing…read morematerials, the applicable county statutes for roofing, and I also took the time to get eight estimates. Denver Roof Pros were not the lowest estimate and not even close to the highest estimate (So, if you get an estimate and it seems high, make sure you get another). Two of the highest estimates were three times the price quoted by Denver Roof Pros, so there are some roofing companies that cannot be giving you value/ I researched the materials costs myself, the shingles (class 4), the water and ice protection, the drip and other flashing, the underlayment, the nails -- everything needed. When I added up the costs and made an estimate myself of how many people the roofing team would need on the roof, I came up with my own estimate that was in the ballpark close to the three companies' estimates in the middle of the range of estimates. I don't think of the difference between the middle range estimates and the lowest to be worth it, wondering how the lowest estimates could come out below my own calculation. Fortunately, I got all the information I needed, a sense of commitment from Denver Roof Pros, and their price fell right in the sweet spot mear my own estimate. Glen Gardner, the President of Denver Roofing Pros did the free review and estimate. (All companies I contacted offered free estimates.) Glen told me several things about roof installations that I did not hear from the other companies, so talking to him was very informative. Denver Roof Pros team brought the materials out and loaded them onto the roof on a Friday. That did not take long. Monday morning the team that installed the roofing came. There were eight guys and they finished my close-to-50 square roof by sunset. They were back the next day to finish cleaning up -- and a dual layer previous roof's materials for a 50 square roof is quite a lot to haul away. They finished some flashing and were completed and cleaned-up in a half day. Throughout the install they did a pretty good job of using tarps on the ground beneath the roofs edge, so the cleanup was thorough and quick. There were several people I could connect with to get updates during the project but I really didn't need to track anyone down and Glen got back to me when I had a question. This team ensures the guys on the roof are in safety harnesses, and because it was a busy crew of 8 on the roof, that made me much less nervous. So, Glen's team takes extra precautions. There was at least one lead guy there making sure all went smooth the whole day. And things did go smooth. I'd come out to watch multiple times through the day and everything just kept progressing -- including someone always moving old roofing into the dumpsters. A gutter team arrived Tuesday and had the gutter installed in about a half day. I've been up on the roof to check out the workmanship and since I put my own roof on the previous time, I think I was able to understand all the nuances -- and the workmanship was fine, including solid flashing around the skylights and the addition of a new ridge vent system. Like I said, I out the previous roof on myself and I think this team was putting as much care into the roof install as I did on my own DIY project.
