I came in to get a free gym pass ( my apartment gave me one ) and was told that we weren't in the…read moresystem yet, even though we had moved in two weeks prior , so we should have been there. i was told to come back later . i ended up calling a week later to ask about it because i didn't want to go all the way back to the gym just to get denied again. the lady on the phone verified my name and where i live, and then said that we can come in whenever we want. time goes on and i never got a chance to go up there because of my schedule , but a month passes and i decide to get my pass, since i should still be verified . when we go up there , i go to the desk and it's only the manager up there. i explain my situation and tell her that i am ONLY HERE for a gym pass, not to work out. she immediately begins talking over me and telling me in a very condescending way that she's the only one here as she gave her staff the weekend off; if i want a pass i need to wait for one but she isn't denying me access to the gym. i explained to her that i didn't want to work out today, i just wanted to get my gym pass , and she cuts me off to tell me that "im not understanding her" and i explained that i did. the conversation felt very argumentative instead of understanding and comprehensive and it felt like she just wanted to assert dominance over the conversation because nothing that i said actually retained in her head clearly. she then says that someone will be here in an hour so that they can get our gym pass and that if we wanted to wait we can, but we can still use the gym. that wouldn't have worked for me because i was about to head to work. once again i explained that im not trying to use the gym, and i just wanted to grab the pass , and she kept trying to tell me to calm down when i wasnt mad or upset . i explained to her that this is the third person that ive talked to about my gym pass and that everyone has given me the run around , and she then says that someone will be here in a few minutes .. first she says an hour and after i tell her i have work she says a few minutes. she gives me a disgruntled apology and keeps saying "IM not trying to deny you service" yet the entire time i never said i wanted a service, just a pass. if she couldn't have given me a pass at that time she could have said that NICELY from the jump.

Swimming Pool: Enough lanes for it to not be too crowded, with aquatic classes during the day, and a jacuzzi/hot tub and sauna that is often on the fritz but comes back to life every other couple of days for public use. Weights: there's a generous amount of machines on the second floor spaced out but it does get quite busy at peak times. Group Classes: there's a spin studio, personal training studio, group training studio, and a large group exercise room--most times there's only 5 people at a time in a class so it really is bag for your buck with one to one time with the instructor. AMFAM is not the cheapest, but it's definitely worth the price. Staff are approachable, friendly, and happy to help if you have questions.

This creeper would follow me all over the gym my whole time there-- usually about 90 minutes. He was always a couple machines away, staring. The manager wouldn't even look at the camera for evidence or to identify the stalker. She showed no concern for my safety. Her suggestion: "Confront him. Approach him and say, 'Hey, I notice you're following me. Do I know you from somewhere? Could you please not do that?' " Incredulously, I had to explain to a fellow woman that this is a good way to end up on the 6:00 news. Stalkers are not normal people. I asked her to just check the cameras and have someone talk to him. She refused. So, their shiny gym is useless. Be careful, people. Don't send your daughters there alone.
