Still, it's one of the few bookshops in the area, and I'm glad it's there for folks who love browsing for a surprise find.

And as for the ponytail man... He is very outspoken and has a way of ranting about the oddest things. But he's a cool dude as long as your not being a bad customer. If you don't like what he's spouting just let him know nicely and continue on with your day. Remember that most of these workers are understaffed and under paid and some have worked there for so long they try to make conversation about anything to make it a better day. Selection at this location is great. Everything from games to collectables to shirts and card games. I've never had a bad encounter here except when the customers in front of me were being hot headed jerkwads. And value is fine. It's better when you minmax your pro membership, with the 5% discount and any deals and points you can add. Once I got a switch OLED Pokemon edition for $50 after savings and points with it. If you are a serious collector, I would not go here. He also imposes whatever limits he feels like even when it's not a corporate policy. He has made many comments as if it's his store and not a franchise. The other guy that works there will ignore customers. He picks up the phone or gets on the computer to pretend like he is busy even when there is a line. After hearing ponytail guy go on a rant about wanting to fight a customer who was stealing, I made the decision to never return. He obviously has issues since there were only two of us in the store and we were standing in front of him waiting to buy our items. No one else was in the store so why was he ranting about stealing?

Does that add up to 100%? The only thing I would reduce my review for was the equipment section. It was space. Where there we're amps and speakers for purchase. For the most part, the equipment was the shiny black stuff we all remember from the late 90s and early 2000s. Sadly, I didn't see a single beautiful amp from the 1970s or 1980s. I judge an equipment section based off of how many VU matters and oscilloscopes I see. Sadly, it was all black plastic and blue LEDs. I'm sure sure how the vinyl is cleaned before sale, but most purchases come with an exterior sleeve of various quality. I wish the record came with a free replacement interior sleeve for the LP, I would even pay money for this services, but it wasn't on the me available for me at the time. I can't afford to buy stacks of LP sleeves, let's make those available as useful and value adding upgrades! The staff was awesome and helped me so much. Without these workers, the store wouldn't be what it is today.
