Outside the front of the store- very cute, and easy to find.

Stopped in to browse after hearing about this little spot from some friends. I'm personally determined to go to as many local bookstores as I can, so this one made the list. It's also a lovely little coffee shop! browsed around and didn't really find any books I wanted to pick up this time. However, went ahead and bought a Pressed LKLD sticker, a "Shop local" waterproof sticker for my water bottle, and had an iced Hobbit latte. I also had my personal bookstore passport stamped! They stamped it with the same stamp that they usually use for the hot cup sleeves, so it's the official business stamp and I love it. (if you wish to know, the bookstore passport is bound from The Little Book Store and proceeds go to the BINC foundation). My latte was flavorful, the espresso was a great roast that went well with the salty caramel flavor, and the service was absolutely fantastic. I even got a list of the other bookstores in Lakeland, so I now have a goal in the area!

Ten thousand stars for the fact that they play Gregory Alan Isakov in this joint. Never heard of him? You are missing out. Great coffee, sweets and atmosphere. Could not believe I was still in Florida much less tiny Lakeland when I walked in here. Kudos!

Such a peaceful, cute place. Love to stroll through the books and had the nicest little closet of used books too. The coffee was pretty good. The service was good too. Did not get a chance to have a pastry but they looked delicious.

    French Toast (most popular)!

"Pressed" came up on my Yelp search for breakfast stops! While I had already made one stop for breakfast, I absolutely had to visit for one of these "specialty donuts "! Glad I did! So many unique choices will require more visits! How soon will I return?!?

I love the vibe at this place. It's perfect to get work done or have coffee with friends. I love that it's also a book store. I found the perfect book the last time I was there and read half of it while sitting on a cozy couch near the window. Perfect reading space!! The coffee is pretty good!!! But my sister did not like her drink. I think we just weren't huge fans of the oat milk they use. Customer service is great!!!

This coffee shop/bookstore hybrid compliments each other very well. It is a no frills bookshop coffee shop. The bakery selection was very simple and straightforward, and the coffee and tea options weren't overly complicated. We tried the Latte and the Sweater Weather (a seasonal Color Theory Tea consisting of apple, cinnamon, and licorice). The Latte was standard and well made, although the foam art could use a little more practice. The Sweater Weather was great, and provided the perfect flavor profile that embodied the unique flavor combination that it was supposed to without being overly sweet. Patrons seemed at ease, and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. The book selection was limited, as expected for an establishment of this size. However, there are enough genres that anyone can come in and find something that they like. I think this establishment shines in that it focuses on what it's meant to be, and it does it well. We will definitely swing by again for a reading/productive day.

A coffee shop also partially disguised as a book store- how could things get any better?? Well, they also sell some art from local artists, have pastries from nearby favorite Honeycomb bread bakers, and serve other favorite Ethos coffee roasters! For any one who may wonder, Pressed took over the space where the business "Twenty-seven" used to be. And Twenty-seven is gone gone now, they didn't move locations or anything sadly. But it's a great location here, just off Massachusetts and the main street of downtown Lakeland, where the Farmers Market also takes place every Saturday. That's how I accidentally realized this was open. My chai latte was wonderful and happy-making - any coffee that's happy making is a good one! And I just love the atmosphere in this shop, it's a perfect one to sit and enjoy company, or get work done, or read a book like a handful of people were when I went. It is as much a bookstore as a coffee shop, after all. Only good vibes!!!

Lavender latte + books + a gorgeous and relaxed space to relax on a hot and sunny day. We love Pressd and highly recommend.

Such a fun find. Great blend of coffee shop & book shop. Filled with mostly young college-looking kids, engaged in chats, or laptops with a great beverage and perhaps a pastry. They are supplied by Honeycomb Bread Bakers or Bandidas twice a week in sublime pastries. I've enjoyed their iced lattes but don't have a "memorable" bean or know if they served my beloved nonfat milk. I've not yet had time to stay awhile yet. I see they carry Color Theory teas and some Lakeland type gifts as well as art. Loved that they collected books for the Book Bus and helped another charity with activity book donations. This business is inclusive & community-minded.

Cold brew Ice vanilla latte with oat milk

Pressed completely impresses everyone that walks in. Great baristas, great ambiance, and great seats. Is the perfect place to sit down on a Saturday morning after a nice walk.

Loved the setting and relaxing mood. The Hemingway is a must try. Love it. Have a seat and read some writing by locals.

I have had bad experiences with the new owners. The whole atmosphere of the store is different now. They want a certain type of customer.

Downtown Lakeland doesn't have great parking either so you'll be hunting for a spot middle of the day.

I really like the staff here. Everyone is so knowledgeable about the different books and magazines…read more I recently needed a cookbook and I couldn't find it on the shelf. So they told me where to look and assured me they had two copies. I just found it and he came over to check that I did. I love the selection this store offers and I love to browse. I especially like looking at the magazines. You never know when magazines won't be available anymore. I am part of the millionaires club, so I save a few bucks here and there. It pays for itself. They also give you coupons when you sign up every year. I really like this location.

FAM TRIP TO BAM!!!…read more We went for their 50% holiday sale, there were maybe 20 books that we found in a very small section and we did not find any of them of interest. Walked around store was clean, but we did find certain authors in multiple areas, but the books were the same. After looking around for a while we could not find any of the books that we were looking for, even if they were not on sale. We asked a BAM employee about a certain book and they sent us to the back of the store to find the same books from the same author, not the one we were looking for. Went back to the front and asked if they could look it up in the system and they did not have it. The clerk was very nice and customer friendly, hence the 3 stars for the interaction we had with her. After looking the books up online to compare with the price if we ordered through BAM, we found it to be cheaper to purchase them online. We love going to the book store, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to find books at a lower or comparative price to online pricing and availability. We will still be going back, but maybe not so much as we have in the past just based on pricing.
