Was finally able to try this place after seeing it all over my FYP. I ordered the three piece wings with fries in the garlic parmesan flavor, along with the buffalo flava fries with ranch. The fries on their own were very good. They were made from fresh potatoes, well seasoned, and thin cut. I liked that there was a mix of crispy fries and some softer ones, which actually worked really well. The buffalo flava fries were excellent. The buffalo sauce had a nice balance of heat and tang, and the ranch tasted homemade and was very flavorful. The chicken on top of the fries was extremely crispy, and they were generous with both sauces so almost every fry was coated. The garlic parmesan wings had good seasoning, but the wings themselves were a bit fatty. They had a lot of meat, but the skin reminded me more of Korean fried chicken rather than a classic wing. They were still enjoyable, especially dipped in the ranch and buffalo sauce. The wings were well coated and flavorful, although I have had better wings elsewhere. That said, the buffalo fries, sauces, and ranch were so good that I would definitely return. The inside space is small, so it is more of a takeout spot. Service was friendly and efficient, and we only waited about ten minutes for our food. I would definitely come back and try another flavor.

Ordered wings and fries combo. There was way too much grease in the food. The wings needed to be separated. Fries taste just like in and out (hard fries) . I would not go back to this restaurant

We live really close to Fyrebird and saw that they had good reviews so decided to check them out! We got their 12 wings and fries for takeout. The sauce we chose were garlic habanero and lemon pepper. We were really hoping to like this place but we were a bit disappointed. The fries were soggy and the wings were soggy as well. The lemon pepper flavor was salty and the garlic habanero was not spicy at all. There wasn't much flavor for the garlic habanero. We were confused. We thought there was going to be some heat to it since it was listed as the second hottest but there was no kick. Maybe you need to eat the foods at the restaurant when it's really fresh? Doing takeout was not the way to go

The service here is excellent! They go above andbeyond to please. The chicken was absolutely fantastic, generous portions, and fair prices. They have a very nice outside seating area, but the food is also packaged well to go. They put a lot of care and attention to detail into their food. The fries and a homemade dipping sauces were also outstanding. You simply can't go wrong with anything here. Wonderful family run business worth supporting. Highly recommended if you are looking for a delicious and flavorful meal in the area!

Deeeeelicious! Every now and then I just want wings and I'm so happy Fryebird exists. I love the crispiness of wings and tenders and they have the perfect bite every time. These are the lemon pepper and it's a perfect blend of salty and citrus. Bonus points for having fried pickles! Service is friendly, efficient, and the wait time is perfect because you know you're getting food made to order. The outdoor patio area is clean, cozy, very welcoming. I'm already looking forward to going back!

I'm not a fried chicken connoisseur by any means but I tasted nothing unique, just fried chicken. A solid 3.5, but rounding up to a 4 because the chicken was cooked perfectly, it tasted fresh and juicy. I wanted to taste a variety of their sauces and spice level and ordered 4 sliders. I was surprised by the size of the sliders, larger than expected and generous use of chicken. I was disappointed with the heat. Cali Heat, which is their hottest, hardly had any heat to it, just a hint. The fries were very boring and cried out for some special seasoning. I just can't figure out what fried chicken sandwiches have against cheese and tomato. Those additions would take things to the next level.

This is probably one of the saddest reviews I'd have to make. I have always seen this spot but never tried. We were excited to try it. Today I tried it, and unfortunately will not be back. The size of the so-called tenders is ridiculous. We ordered plant-based. Extremely pricey for the little pieces of nuggets. They're not "tenders". They were measly pieces of nuggets you get from the frozen section at the grocery stores. I buy the same stuff. You can get these plant-based options at your local grocery store. Some are tenders and some come as nuggets. These were advertised as tenders--but they're actually nuggets. It wasn't even a decent size. I would've been fine with it. There were no photos online because most people don't buy plant-based. $12 for a few pieces of nuggets was a joke. The entire presentation looked very sad. Just pieces thrown into plastic boxes. Even a five-year old would have plated it nicer. The only thing that made sense were the fries. Everything else did not taste good. The back patio was the only upside. My advice to the owners--just stick to real meat. Plant-based isn't your area. One other issue is that we tipped in advanced. We told them we were dining in "for here" and they never brought it out to us. This place has no service. At some places even if you order at the register, they bring out the food but they paged us to come get it instead. They were too lazy to bring it to their back patio. I guess since they already got the tip they didn't bother to make a first impression. They knew it was our first time there since we had a lot of questions and specific requests. First and last time. Don't recommend. The skimpy portion for the price is absurd and unacceptable.

Ambiance: Not a big place at all... maybe 3 stools to sit at the counter. 2 benches outside to wait. Though it's small, it's easy to navigate.. you're in and out. Service: Guy taking order was patient, friendly, and helpful. I was able to mix flavors, he helped me decide on my order, and they have the option to text you when your order is ready so you're not just waiting around the already small location. Order took about 30 minutes to get. Food: My tenders were nice and hot, not crispy, but were juicy. The flavors of the sauces were strong. I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors /sauces. Fries were ok, needed more seasoning (the lemon pepper would've been good), and kind of soft, but they weren't terrible. I went on a Friday after work, and the parking was pretty easy.

Super good, they used dark meat in my sandwich and it was super juicy and crunchy. Also got the buffalo chicken fries, which hit the spot perfectly. The only thing is that the spicy level isn't very spicy, but as far as flavor goes, you won't be disappointed here! Great service and great food! read more

Food doesn't look like the pics at all and chicken sandwiches tasted like they were made hours before. I also asked if Evan was there because my nephew knows him and the girl at the front called for him just for him to not poke his head out for a quick second???? Store wasn't busy. I know running a new business is tricky at first but I have faith time and experience will pay off. My first job in food industry cleaned house but the store improved after, be back in a couple months to check up. read more

I ordered a buffalo/ traditional sandwich and discovered this is my new favorite place for a chicken sandwich. There was so much flavor and just the right amount of everything. The fries were seasoned well too. Besides the amazing food the customer service was just great. Very friendly staff, they give an at home feel. NOOOOOOOOO! They changed the wing size and changed the seasoning on a lot of the flavors!!! It's still a good place to eat just disappointed they decided to fix something that was never broken.The only thing that needed to be fixed was the fries and they made it better but now the chicken wings feel like I'm eating a oversized gmo wing. It sucks the people who never got to taste the og fyrebird will have to take this gmo version . Looks like American deli will have to be the new spot now.. read more

Really wanted a fried chicken sandwich so me and my bf ordered take out of the sliders (can pick different flavors) and tenders Sweet heat/honey chipotle/garlic Parmesan were my favorite! The sweet heat reminded me of korean fried chicken sauces, while the garlic Parmesan was more like a seasoning over the chicken-not greasy/oily like other garlic Parmesan sauces! I want to try that on their chicken fries. The ranch was amazing, I guess I'd only have bottled/fast food ranch until now but this tasted like real food! Will definitely order extra sauce of that next time I'm usually sensitive to fried foods so I was a little worried I'd have an upset gut but I was so surprised their sliders/tenders didn't give me any discomfort at all!! I have three stars becuz the first time I got my food from here it was AMAZING (fries were amazing, chicken was nice and thick and juicy, with the right amount of ranch in it) and if I would've left a review than it would've been 5 stars. Now, today was my second time I would rate it 2 stars... my chicken was dry, poorly put together, fries were meh, barely any ranch in the sandwich, chicken was smaller and it just wasn't tasty and it made me nauseous. I wanted to take my dad there to introduce it to him but his meal turned him off. Very disappointed and sad and now my stomachs not feeling good. I think you guys need to find a different cook for 12:30 PM schedule on Saturday. Like I said the first time was AMAZING so whoever cooks the late shift I say Bravo to you. read more

Really good, great prices, great amount of food. Had their fried pickles, buffalo wings, Cali Heat tenders, and fries. All so tasty. Tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Made this order through Doordash. First off, the delivery service was great. Now for the food. I ordered a family pack of wings and requested the following flavors: Buffalo Lemon Pepper, BBQ, Garlic Habanero, and Teriyaki. First thing was that I didn't receive the Garlic Habanero or the Teriyaki wings. I was given BBQ, Buffalo Lemon Pepper, and possibly Garlic Parm. The wings weren't cooked thoroughly and the flavor was similar to something I could get at anyone's home. The bbq, tasted like a warm bottled sauce that I've had before, but can't put my finger on the exact bottle. The Buffalo Lemon Pepper tasted just like buffalo sauce with unevenly sprinkled lemon pepper seasoning on it. Garlic Parm is a no go. The food tasted like something a home cook would make, but it wasn't a taste of home. Maybe great for college kids, not for me. Pass. read more

Super dank, I got the wings, tenders and two sandwiches and everything was amazing. The price and quality is far better than anything in the area and completely trumps any chicken shop chain. The chicken was extremely moist and breaded perfectly, the fries were so tasty and the only thing I'd have to say is y'all need some coleslaw on that menu and you're solid. read more

It's usually not too busy but during the weekend, it can get crazy and take forever if you order at the counter. Play it safe and make a phone order.

When I spotted that they had Pumpkin Spice drinks, I knew I needed to try it. I'm a big pumpkin spice girl and won't pass up a PSL drink when I see one. One can get the Pumpkin Spice, hot, iced or iced blended. I got my drink ice blended with regular milk. A small came out to about a little over $6.71 I was slightly surprised since the menu showed a small about a $1 less than that but then I saw that whipped cream was extra. Hmm I'm not a big whipped cream fan and honestly would've skipped it if I knew it was extra. Inspite of the initial sticker shock with slightly higher price, I ended up enjoying my drink. It has a really good pumpkin flavor. It was cool and quite refreshing. It also had a bit of a caffeine kick. The Pumpkin Spice was good and I've got my eye on their Cookie Butter and Fruity Pebbles for a future indulgence.

It was not too fried/flaky. It was kind of like a taquito. The shrimps flavor was very fresh with a complementary umami flavor. The Sardine Sashimi was super high quality. It was super soft and fatty and ended with a heavy pleasant fishy flavor. The miso grilled cod was great. Not much to say about it was almost creamy and the miso was good. I ate the skin too and it tasted great. The main part of this place is the soba. The kikouchi soba are thicker 100% buckwheat noodles that were very well cooked and pleasant to eat. The Plum "Ume" broth was so refreshing and nice. I ate it cold; I probably would have preferred it hot but the is just a personal preference. The Ginger Pork was great. The pork itself was super gingery without being too pungent. The shredded cabbage was super easy to pick up and eat and the side of noodle salad and miso soup were great complements to the meal. I can tell no corners were cut anywhere and that Otafuku puts a little of effort into every meal they prepare. There is great care for all of the preparations and it was a very special meal. I felt like I was in Japan for a second as the feel of the restaurant is very "homey" and the ambiance is a nice cheerful atmosphere.
