If you are sent to San Francisco location. Please be aware to get your vehicle checked by other professionals before you start driving on the road. We had side damage on our Mercedes which G&C replaced with new door as what they say and the doors were not closing properly and the seat belt was locked. When we asked to get it repaired. We were told to fix it ourselves. We took the car to another bodyshop and wow we got lucky. We found what was on the bill was not even done and the repairs would cost 7k more on top of G&C's 12k. What a pain. Hope AAA learns the lesson and don't send anyone to them. Hope BBB can do a better job in getting such business a red flag where life doesn't matter to them. read more

I really wanted to like this shop. After the first fender bender, they were very timely and did repairs quickly and properly. The second time around, they kept delaying the timeline for several weeks racking up a $2000 rental car payment. Then when I picked the car up, the locking mechanism wasn't working and I had to bring it back for a door alignment. Then I found out the washer fluid reservoir cap was missing after I picked it up the second time. So I reached out to the office twice and was told the manager would get back to me. Honestly terrible Initial Estimate 0/10 Was told 4-6 weeks which turned into 2 months. Every week I would be told they're working on it, it'll be ready by the end of the week. Nope every time. If it's going to take two months tell me that, don't promise the repairs to be done by the end of every week then tell me on the last day of the week my car is not ready. It's aggravating, draining and a waste of time. Many times I've had to take off work because I was told it would be ready and I wanted to be there to pick up my car. And many times they would tell me my car will be ready that day , and multiple times I go there and it wasn't. Estimate was so bad I got in trouble with Enterprise because my rental car was past due but my car was still being repaired and I had to pay out of my own pocket to keep the rental a bit longer because they went way over their initial estimate date. They offered me detailing for the inconveniences which turned into detailing if I gave them a good repair score in the survey. Laugh out loud ! Actual Repairs 0/10 I don't even know where to begin the repairs are so bad I want to cry. Many loose parts and so many issues that shouldn't have been. The first time I opened my trunk a trunk light fell out. No big deal since I was able to put it back in myself but still, I don't think that should be happening at all considering you guys just repaired my car? Many parts were loose and was told it's supposed to be like that? No worries I guess. My sensors weren't working so I had to come back and get them fixed. They tell me it's fixed. Nope sensors don't work. I go back a second time they tell me it's fixed, they aren't. I go back again for a third time and they finally realize what was causing the issue but they don't have the part. They never update me about receiving the part so I have to go there myself for a fourth time where they tell me to come back another day. So I have to go back again a fifth time just to get sensors fixed that should've already been fixed? Another issue is that the spoiler wing on my car was noticeably loose as well. They told me it's as tight as it can be but I don't think a spoiler wing should be moving so much when touched. And then my biggest issue are my rear headlights. My lights aren't flush with the car. They just shoved them in but they both clearly stick out and wobble when touched. I'm really concerned about my car because there are so many issues with the repairs but those are only issues that I was able to visually see. So I can't trust what I can't see and only hope everything underneath is okay. Service 0/10 The people aren't rude but they aren't very pleasant either. Like I mentioned previously, they would give terrible estimates that they could not meet. I had to go out of my way to contact them because they were terrible at communicating. They'll promise to update you by the end of the day but then they don't and I personally have to reach out because they don't reach out when they say they will. This happened multiple times throughout the two months. They'll say my car is ready and say they will give me a call later in the day and nothing will come of it. I have to go there in person because I know if I call or text they won't give me a clear answer. And not sure if they're allergic to apologies but it seems that way. Another bad experience came from the manager. Like I said I got my sensors fixed but it took many visits. I kindly asked if the part came in. Nothing. Had to stop by and make a visit myself because he ghosted me. I ask if the rear headlights can be fixed he tells me to comeback in two weeks. I comeback he tells me he can't fix it and will give me call the very next morning. He doesn't do that all and at this point I'm just fed up. I've given them the benefit of the doubt so many times and I'm exceeding the character limit for this review so I'll finish it by saying I didn't want to write this review but I was very patient and understanding and it sucks to have been treated this way AND MY HEADLIGHTS STILL AREN'T FIXED THEY STICK OUT OMG read more

This isn't actually fixing anything.... Just an estimate. Your services is poor and mediocre. I would NEVER recommend your services to anyone. read more

Absolutely terrible communication. We went here after our insurance chose this location (vehicle collision at no fault of our own) and at first they gave us an estimate of 1 month but somehow got the work done in 1 week. Of course, it makes you think of a rushed and half ass job. We contacted them 3 times to be exact over some minor issues that needed to be corrected. Each time we were told "Okay someone will reach out to make an appointment with you". And each time, we waited and waited for someone to reach out. 2 weeks we waited and contacted again. Then other 2 weeks and told the same thing about someone reaching out to make an appointment. Nope, nothing. No one reached out. Horrible! Formerly owned by George McGill. Moises doesn't return your calls and leaves you hanging. My car was hit and the mirror was hanging off. I drove there to be fixed where I did a terrible job duck taping it. Moises said he would look for a mirror and would call me back in two hours. I drove home where he said the duck tape was fine. I arrived home and the mirror fell off. This was about 9:30 am. I didn't hear from Moises so I called to find out the status so I could get my car fixed. The phone just kept ring. This was about 3:30 pm so I left a message. Again, around 4:30 pm I called and the phone just continued to ring. The next day I called and they finally picked up. The reception said she would get Moises and I was left on hold for a long time so I hung up and called back. Finally, he picked up and told me that he didn't call me as promised for he was trying to locate a mirror and did I want him to call me. I said of course to my surprise. He said he would call me later and I've heard nothing back from him. This place is so unprofessional. I would give them a minus 10 if I could. It's nothing like the previous owner George MCGillis Body Shop that was outstanding in customer service and professionalism. read more

I was rear-ended and had a crack on my back bumper. My insurance company recommended G&C based on previous customer reviews. I got an appointment within a week and then drop off was scheduled about two weeks later. A bit of a time lag, but it was worth it. They initially thought they could fix the crack, but let me know that it would be better to replace the whole bumper. They were able to get the part in, paint it and return my car back to me within 4 days. Initially estimated to take 3 days, but again so worth it. Not only did they fix my bumper but they also fixed my front bumper!! It was hanging off a bit, but when i got my car back it was fixed! I want to give 5/5, but i know time is a factor for some people so the lag time is something for people to consider and so important when working full time jobs. They aren't open on the weekends so definitely not convenient. Communication was constant so that's a plus! read more

Err ma gah.... My princess 2009 Nissan Murano was reversed into. AAA recommended this auto body shop and let me tell you it didn't not disappoint. Customer services was great , communication was clear and transparent! They totally made it a point of supporting the customer . My princess looked like new! They went above to find my side stripes and found them! Due to my busy schedule, I was not able to pick my princess and Louis hooked it up by dropping of my car and taking her rental from me . I chose this body shop from my insurance company's list. It was the closest to my home that was a Honda specialist. I am so very pleased with the service I received there! The estimate was quick and easy. The repair scheduled for a few days later. My van was ready a day and a half later. I even received a call letting me know when I could pick it up! And when I picked it up it was clean. In contrast, my son's experience at a different body shop was full of delays. He lost the use of his car for almost a month. I must admit, I was worried this was what body shops did. But, no, G&C got the job done more quickly than they said they would. To top it off, they are all nice, friendly people! read more
