Shawn did a project for me that initially looked like a long term fix. After I saw some settling a year or so later I reached out to Shawn and he agreed to come out and take a look. After the meeting Shawn said he would be out within about two weeks to come take care of the issue with a little more lifting. Now a year later after texts, phone calls and emails that have all been ignored I am sitting with an issue and no warranty repair. Shawn was eager to talk about his warranty and his website boats of an industry leading 5 year warranty but do not believe it! It is just sad because my fix is so easy and he is still has no follow through and does not care about honoring our contract. Look elsewhere for your project.

The service person showed up within the timeframe and went into further detail about the different screens/materials - it made me feel even better about my selection. For some reason, I had it in my head that this would be a fast repair but replacing 6 screens took almost an hour and a half. His Workmanship employees (Evan and Noah) came out twice to work in my yard. My directions both…read moretimes were to take all the weeds out by roots, then put landscape fabric down. The first time they did just that, along with putting all the heavy bags of yard waste in my car for me and cleaning up after themselves. The second time they came out I wasn't around for the last hour of their work. When I looked over their work that afternoon, it seemed like that had gotten a lot done in that time and I got suspicious. I looked under the landscape fabric for both areas they worked on and found they had not taken any of the weeds out. They also hadn't put the heavy garbage cans full of yard waste in my car as I had asked them to. I contacted Eric (their boss) with my complaint and asked that it be corrected free of charge to me. He said that the "industry standard" was to put landscape fabric on top of weeds and that would kill the weeds. I told him that I found other information saying it's best to get rid of the weeds first. I also added that the customer should be the one dictating what work is to be done for them. He said that "they [the workers] utilized a common industry practice intended to save you on labor costs, as removing every small weed by the root can significantly increase the hours billed." I countered with the fact that prior to deciding to veer off my directions to them, they should have asked me first before proceeding. He said, "I'm sorry the workers did not follow your instructions more carefully in this matter." Then he said they would not be doing any further work for me to correct this without charging me for their time. I will not be working with this agency anymore. If you choose to, please heed the warning that the workers may not do as you requested.

Aaron waterproofed almost the entire basement of our restaurant and re-cemented some of the slabs…read morewe use to store dry goods so that the surfaces were nice and level. He also leveled out the floor because there were low spots that had water pooling up. The repairs that had been done before were less than desireable and now that the holes are all filled in and we have nice flat surfaces to store food on our storage is much more effective. We had previously discussed with Aaron about having one of his Water Walls installed on out patio so we could have a newere updated look but as spring came at us and everything started to thaw out our basement at Nacho Mama's started leaking water everywhere due to being right across the street from the river and having an older natural stone foundation. As soon as Aaron came in for lunch we started to discuss our concerns about having the water problems in the basement and he replied very simply, "I can fix that". So we went downstairs and right away he started to notice all the pinhole leaks that were in even the stairs going down. He just listened as I walked him around showing him where all the major spots were that we were accumulating water. After I showed him the spots that I thought were the major contributors he took another walk around with me showing me even more holes that I had not even noticed. He really has an eye for detail and notices even the smallest things. I was quite surprised in this, most contractors that we have dealt with just wanted to to the bare minimum so they could get to their next job it seems. We told him that if it was at all possible we wanted to hold off on having the water feature installed so that we could get the basement fixed and he told us that whatever was the most convenient for us is what he would do. He gave us an estimate about an hour and half later and it came in about 1000 dollars lower than another estimate we got. He encouraged us to get estimates so that we felt comfortable and new he was giving us a fair price. I called him after I got the estimate and asked when he thought he would be able to get out to start the work and conveniently enough he just had a delay on another job so he could start the next day! He spent the entire week working in the basement and gave us a heads up that with the way the foundation was there was no possible way to eliminate every pin hole leak due to all the storage and machinery we have down there but he would try to get everything that he possibly could. I saw him bringing down bag after bag of cement and as we got near to the end of the week he completely transformed out basement. While I was hoping for at least 50% less water he cut down I would say 90% which is HUGE since we will always have some water coming due to the river. He assured us that if we need anything as far as repairs or even small additions to fix other areas that he was just a phone call away and he would take care of us. We absolutely LOVE having Aaron around because he seems to do everything and what we have had him do has been perfect!
