But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. I quizzed the front desk about the new policy and the told me I could get 1/3 yard but would have to the price of a 1/2 yard. What a lame policy. I've spent plenty of money at patio town not anymore. I guess I will keep doing my business with Site One where they sell by weight. At least you get exactly what you pay for. Not open on Sundays but I guess I can wait a day and save some money.

I also hired them for lawn car at my mother's house on Delaware Avenue in NSP and recommended them to a brother in law on Oakhurst Ave. in Vadnais Heights. He also hired them for cutting down trees. They must be so big now they pick and choose who they do business with. They say they never offered pre-pay discounts either. I've used their pre-pay discounts the last few years. I missed the deadline this year due to a death in the family and asked if they would honor the 6% due to the circumstances. The "manager" refused the 6% and offered half. It's not even the discount at this point, it's the principal of the thing. I would venture to say the "manager" probably never even heard of Imprelis. That's how long I go back as a customer.

Benjamin has helped us out with several house projects. Most recently, he tackled the massive task…read moreof assembling two IKEA shelves for our dining room--and didn't stop there. He cleanly removed some of the baseboard so the shelves would be flush with the walls, added quarter round to the base, and caulked the edges for a seamless, built-in look that completely elevated the space. He also relocated our Nest thermostat to the opposite side of the wall. Benjamin has done a variety of other projects, too, including installing a storm door in our sunroom, repairing and replacing rotted wood, and replacing the interior door trim.
