Well, clearly I didn't get the memo...it didn't take much convincing for me to 86 the pantyhose after that conversation! Over the years, I've worn Hanes socks, too! Again, Hanes offers quite the selection form no show socks, to mousure wicking socks, to ankle high scoks and the iconic Hanes crew socks. I owned at least one Hanes sweatshirt. Once the largest producer of men's and women's undergarments (and the hugely successful Legg's pantyhose brand in an egg shaped package in the 70's/'80's) Hanes recently sold-out to Canadian clothing manufacturer Gildan and the inexorable slide towards lower quality and disposable clothing has begun. My personal replacements for underwear and t-shirts reveal much thinner thread counts and shoddy sewing that renders most garments landfill-bound after a few washings. Thankfully, you only get one shot to fool me and trade on my loyalty. They might consider selling their garments as dust cloths and skip the fiction of wearable fashion. Hanes is done. One star.

I've gone here off and on for years and I've had co-workers rave about Simcare, and I have always…read morewondered what they were talking about. Nothing special, no better or worse than CVS, or any other. Last month, however, I had some problems with them - bad service, no question about it. When I have to return to a pharmacy for the remainder of a script I'm not happy about it, but I don't complain (seems to happen more at Simcare, but whatever). When I need to return a third time we have a problem. Especially when I was without transportation at the time and told them the first time that it was a tremendous inconvenience. My medication, in its entirety, was supposedly waiting for me to pick up, at my leisure they said. When I got a ride there after work, I was told they'd give me the rest tomorrow, because someone had taken all but 30 of the 90 I require. That means they gave them my prescription, which I had arranged for the previous day, and was told I had to come back for. The owner made excuses when I got angry. Never said "don't return" or "this is the last time we serve you here". Sooo... I had my script sent there today (not even thinking there'd be an issue, or even remembering there was an issue when I told my doctor to send it to Simcare) like I have the past few months. When I tried to pick it up, I was given some excuse that they were out of my medication and, ahem "can't order it in". They said they told my doctor to "call it in to another pharmacy". I've called my doctor twice since, they are very busy, so here I sit with no medication. Which I need daily. And I waited longer this month because Simcare would not fill on the 28th(!) day last time - not 26, not 27. The 28th day (of 30 ). That is what started all the problems last month. I go to my doctor every 4 weeks to the day. Since I figured to get a hard time at 28 days, and I couldn't get there on the 29th or 30th day, I couldn't get to my doctor until well past 30 days, so I have no medication, and Simcare did this by not having the guts to tell me not to return, if they didn't want me as a customer. I have never particularly liked the staff (snooty, IMO) and the owner is apparently a coward. But I draw the line at just not caring. And incompetence.

We wanted something different. We took 1 step into Everly and knew it was it! The way this place is taken care of and decorated is far beyond my imagination. From the old papers on the ceiling tiles to the completely unique lighting throughout... its STUNNING. This venue doesnt need much "wedding decor" because it is beautiful on its own! We had our ceremony in the antique store in front of the large open door, old church pews & antique chairs for our guests... just beautiful! From there the reception with the farm tables & antique dishes...perfection! Dealing with the staff was an absolute blast! They made it seem so simple. Everyone I spoke to regarding the wedding planning with the venue always said to keep in mind that most venues arent very personable, you are just a number...that was the furthest from the truth here. These ladies all knew who I was, what we loved, and everything about our wedding! Michelle, Samantha, Claudia - we truly thank you ladies for making our planning process and most importantly our big day so special! There is no way we could have done this without you(and the guys!). We feel like we left our wedding with new friends, we love you guys! We WILL be back...cant get rid of me that easily!!!
