Love the brand, but not this location. One of the things that I do when I travel is visit Coach's factory store. Although many of the products are similar nationwide and online, this store had a very limited selection for men. The store was crowded and the products seemed picked over-- as if it was a thrift store. The manger was very friendly, vhr wish I could say the same for the remainder of the staff. I love the customer service I always get at this location. I purchased an item Online and was able to return it here with no problem. We even had to look up my receipt electronically to get a credit as it was older than 30 days for their return policy. I had no problem making another quick purchase of a watch. With all of the credits, discounts plus military discount, I only paid $53.00! Not bad for a Coach purchase and some Christmas Cheer to me!! I highly recommend this Coach store. So after not purchasing the display they tried to pass off as new, I picked out a different watch on that same day a month ago. Because I was already so annoyed at their little stunt with the first watch, I was so focused on checking the watch for signs of prior use that I didn't realize they sold me one in a different color than I asked for! Ugh!! Needless to say, I had to make my way back from New York to exchange it for the correct watch. This updated review is on THIS experience, which I am glad to say, was LEAPS AND BOUNDS improved from the previous one. A sales rep named Christian was very friendly and helpful, and not at all pushy. I explained to him the issue, and he helped me to double check that they had the watch I wanted in stock without my even asking! Then, he helped us to find a wallet I was looking for. The queen, ( my mother) decided that she did not like her handbag she found in Delaware. So, she sent me a telegram to inform me she was going to go to AC to return this. The queen does not like to travel or do things alone, unlike the princess. I'm happiest sometimes seeing a film alone. However, I digress. It's pouring out. Literally buckets of rain. She does not want to park the carriage. She wants her darling princess to duck out in the rain and return the satchel. She is too trusting a queen, she gave me her credit card for the return. I could have easily made a run for it, but I was starving and brunch was my reward for this task. The pleasant gentleman with the pretty eyes ( he told me they are contacts) actually came off the floor and opened his register so he could help me. He was sweeter than bannoffee pie about it. Seriously, he did ask why I was returning it, and rather than telling him that the queen is a PITA, I simply said she thought this was like her other brown one, but the strap isn't adjustable. He was quick, personable and lovely. He bid me farewell, threw out the saturated bag, and wished me luck in the flood ( it was seriously down pouring). The welcoming gals/security beef at the front were sweet too. If you need to return your Delaware purchases, this is the place. If you've won big and want a new bag, this is the place. If they are into Coach bags it seems like everything in this store is half off or heavily discounted to go along with a pretty large selection. Great service too. Very neat and organized. Lines to get in can be pretty crazy during weekends and holiday season. Kind of like the velvet rope thing at a Manhattan nightclub. Wow... I went in here with a friend who purchased a handbag that was defective and wanted to return it. We were greeted immediately and the manager, Jennifer (cute girl with short dark hair) was extremely pleasant to deal with. She sent the bag out for repairs and waived the shipping fee. Is there ever a Coach Factory Store that isn't crowded? When my boyfriend and our two friends visited the outlets in Atlantic City over this past Labor Day weekend, we decided to check out Coach for the hell of it. Once we walked in, we saw so many people everywhere. We were also presented with coupons for an additional 30% off of marked prices. As many things were discounted from the MSRP, I could see the draw. Lines snaked around the ropes as customers waited to pay for their Coach items. Meanwhile, the four of us walked around looking at things but none of us purchased anything. I don't get the appeal of Coach, but I do see why people were in here and in a frenzy. This was only the second time I'd been to the AC Coach store, even though I frequent AC more than a person should, especially since I live in the DC area. Anyway, like any other Coach outlet , this one is a madhouse - but a madhouse that's well organized, with superfast checkouts. Everything is well-marked and really cheap, considering what I've dropped on purses lately. Oh, and the staff is friendly on top of all that. While my love for Coach has diminished a lot in the past 10 years or so, I actually found a fantastic Large Ashley leather satchel that would be perfect for casual outings because it's classic, durable, and can be carried in my hands or via the shoulder strap which can be tucked away on the bottom of the purse - ingenious design, I tell you! This is pretty much my first Coach purchase in many years, that wasn't for a gift. The staff and store organization played a big part in that. The 30% coupon at the door wasn't bad either. So, if you find yourself in AC, take a little trip on over to the Coach outlet. While I certainly don't mind bags made specifically for the factory store - I'm no Coach snob and I can't tell a difference - I feel like I've gotten the BEST DEAL EVER when I snag a retail bag I stalked multiple times in my local Macys. My first purchase from the first days of this factory store's existence was a blue tattersall tote that I had admired on someone's arm months before. The $300+ tote was mine for less than $90. The selection is hit-or-miss as far as I'm concerned, but I am not one to buy a Coach bag just to have a Coach bag. It's rare that I'm in AC on a weekend, so I miss the super-insanity. Walking into this Coach store is probably like walking into any other Coach Factory store. However, walking into here versus all the other stores in the Tanger Outlet in Atlantic City is like going to the popular kids' party versus average kids'. They have music turned up like a party house, with loads of people (both customers and sales representatives) on the dance floor. No other stores in the outlet can compare to the level of business that Coach would have, besides Starbucks which is usually always, always packed. The merchandise and selection here is OK. I have bought several items here that have fallen apart within days of purchase. Do not expect even a close approximation of the quality received in full-retail stores. I also don't like the exclusivity game they play; holding store traffic outside. I work in a higher volume store at The Walk of (the exact same sq footage) and we never have had a problem letting a large amount of traffic into the store or problems with shrink. Unless you go during a weekday in the morning, just stay away from this place. read more

I don't shop Coach but my sister is a huge fan and drags us in here every time we go out to Atlantic City. The store is usually pretty clean and organized. I'm sure this is due to the staff regulating the amount of people in the store when they do have a huge sale. This past weekend wasn't quite like that though. i know staffs are very busy but it is the worst customer service ever!!! i went there on July18,2018. i bought 4 bags from there. When i walked to the cashier who is young lady and blonde hair. Great customer service and the lines go pretty quickly even though it can reach all the way outside. The store used to be incredibly busy all the time, almost looks like there's a giant mob of women grabbing handbags here and there. So if you were to go on a holiday I would recommend going directly when it opens. They have great sales and sometimes you can get bags for super cheap. The designs each season gets better and better. This Coach factory store is always super crowded. I think it is larger than most Coach factory stores, or at least more spacious. This is truly a factory store and not an outlet because of the merchandise. Coach has moved mainly towards its 'signature' merchandise made especially for is factory stores - the shiny material, the C logos, all in pastel colors (this season). Not as much of the true leather that Coach made its reputation on in this store. But the prices are reasonable. read more

There are three kinds of Coach outlet shoppers 1)I'm looking for a Coach bag, don't care if it's made for the outlet, just want to save money and sport the brand. 2)I'm scooping up outlet bags to sell on Ebay 3)I'm like a crouching tiger waiting for the new floorset at the full price store so I can swoop into the outlet and get retail bags for a fraction of the cost. I fall into catagory 3) and am really leaving this review for shoppers who fall into this catagory. Outlet shopping for this purpose is specific and you still have to do your leg work and watch your full price bags for when they drop off the website and off the retail stores shelves. This location gets them fast because many of them are brought over from The Pier Shops. They are immediately put on the back shelves on both the left and right sides. No retail bags will ever be out in the front half of this location! Be careful, check your licensing labels, because they are also sprinkled around outlet bags as well. If you're ever in doubt- ask an associate if the bag is from the full price store! They are required to tell you. Your 20% or 30% off coupon is good on the retail bags too and they are immediately discounted upon their arrival in the shop. If you're hunting a bag, be sure to hit the store within a week of its transition or you may lose out on it. This is a high volume location due to the area. My best stalk here to date? A python purse that retailed in the store at $789, bought 3 days later at the outlet for $249. Not too shabby!!! read more
