The staff is super welcoming & friendly, they remember you by name & they treat you well. They always work to accommodate you, even if it means they stay open late. I went in for a pedicure. The service just started and I needed to use the restroom. I take cancer medication that can upset my stomach so sometimes I can't plan my bathroom trips like the average person. After returning from the restroom, the nail tech continued working on clipping my toenails, doing the massage, all of those services were fine. However, I needed to use the restroom again. When I got up, the nail tech turned to the manager and they began talking in Vietnamese and started laughing along with all of the other employees. I was mortified as I walked into the restroom. My young adult daughter was with me and saw the whole thing first hand. She was very upset for me. When I came back from the bathroom I was of course embarrassed. I could tell everyone was looking at me and had been taking about me . I sat back down and my daughter wanted to leave. Apparently it was worse than I imagined. I didn't want to leave as I still had wet legs and wanted to get the service finished. I planned to say something when I paid. Of course, I had a stomachache again and I told them I wanted to pay and stop the service at that point. The manager seemed confused and I told her it was because I couldn't use their restroom without being made fun of. The manager acted like nobody laughed and made fun of me. She said, I didn't do that. My daughter said oh yes you did. You all laughed at her and humiliated her. This was all in front of the whole salon. Then, I stated my medical condition and repeated that I needed to pay as I was feeling sick and needed to leave. They charged me $35 instead of $42. I feel like they should have discounted more but it is what it is. I was treated so rudely and nobody apologized or acknowledged any wrong doing. I will never go there again. It shouldn't matter why someone has to use the restroom. In a service industry a more professional experience is to be expected. I don't regularly get pedicures and this was something I was doing for a special occasion so now I have to finish the job at home. read more

It was great the people were so friendly. Love my toes. I got a pedicure with my mom before she left on a long walking journey (500 miles). They also have a great policy if you have any issues with your nails. Salon was clean and well lit. read more

I've been here at least 10 times...enough to redeem a coupon from a punch card. The entire staff does a great job. It's always clean. They have a great selection of colors and everyone is kind. So why the 2 stars? I've made appointments for every visit, and at least half of my appointments I've sat waiting for 20-30 minutes. That's half of the appointment time. I think it's disrespectful to customers that have made appointments to wait that long. If I had walked in; sure...I'm taking that chance. But I expect more when I call and set up a time. read more

Super friendly and appreciative for service. Job well done each time whether it's pedicure or manicure and prices are reasonable. Very happy to have found these ladies! Only downside, some of their pedicure chairs have had some wear and tear but the massage feature still works on those ones as well. read more

On recommendation, I went to G Nails and at first application, my nails looked great but less than a week later my nails were all lifting. Fast forward two weeks later, I had Kathy do my fill and although they came out much better, they are lifting yet again and I have a few mismatched nails. Even after the first appointment, I still brought my Mom in and she had gotten dip on her nails. Although they had to add tips for length. Well, they were not glued down all the way because in a week's time the nail tip was separating from her natural nails. My Mom called and spoke to Kathy, the owner, she asked her to come in. Upon arrival, Kathy immediately was short with her and snapped at her and then tried to make the excuse of when your nails grow out, they separate. No! Not in less than a week's time they don't. While a tech filed her nails underneath, the tech and Kathy began speaking Vietnamese back and forth, which A. is so rude and B. you know it was about you. My Mom didn't argue but knew that she wouldn't be returning. I would NOT recommend G Nails. They offer a warranty on their nails but not without an attitude. Go at your own risk but in my opinion they do below average nails. Nails, a full set, should not lift, separate or otherwise in a week's time. I notice they never use nail dehydrator; only primer. AND used tools which is a BIG NO NO. read more

I wouldn't recommend g nail. I got acrylics and they came off not even 2 weeks later. They started chipping 5 days after I got them done. I even got shellac on top. The prices were very high compared to other places. The price was not at all worth the quality. They were very nice though, but in the end I probably wouldn't recommend them. read more

I cannot begin to say enough good things! My mother in law had stroke and has little mobility on one side and Kathy goes above and beyond to make her comfortable and to make her feel special! Remembers her name each time and is truly such a blessing!!! read more

So I went here with my friend to get my nails done expecting them to be great, but i got something that looks like a 4 year old did them. the paint was thick and the place was very unsanitary and they barely spoke english to me except for when she had a complaint for how i was holding my hand. my friend pulled up her pants and one of her nails got messed up so she politely asked for the lady to fix them and she rolled her eyes and her and did not fix it. i would NEVER recommend going here. No one was nice and it was overpriced for a shitty job. read more

EDIT UPDATE! While the service was great and reasonably priced, within 24 hours my big toe polish came off in one giant piece, following by another toe on the opposite foot while wearing house shoes. Went back, she gave me another polish with different color for free, but same thing happened a couple days later. Not sure why, and I've never had this happen at any other nail salon ever... First time coming here today. Also brought my 5 year old. I got the regular pedicure and it was amazing. They take their time and the massage was AMAZING!! Then the paint job was very well done, not just a quit coat and done. My kiddo had her fingers and toes does and they took care of her the same way they would've me. Even went as far to give her a cheetah design she wanted really badly. Very clean shop. Very nice welcoming staff. My pedicure was $24 with design, kiddos pedicure was $18 with design and fingers painted with design was $7, so not badly priced either. Mani pedi together is $32 to start. Just an FYI. Overall, very very happy with coming here and will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

I had a terrible experience, I went to pull up my pants and messed up one of my fingers so I asked the lady to fix it and she rolled her eyes and gave me a death stare and I asked her to clean them up because there was paint all over my fingers and she got mad and didn't even fix it. I have used many nail salons in and around the Omaha area and often times am not pleased with some part of my experience. This is my time to treat myself and relax a bit so I want to be comfortable. I have used G Nails in Gretna dozens of times and have no plans of going anywhere else. The service is always good and quick as I'm not one to make appointments most times, and the massage chairs are always in good working condition. Majority of the time I take my two daughters with me, ages 12 and 3 and they really enjoy the experience as well. To begin, the owner is SUPER nice.... but the end product was very disappointing. I have gone to two separate nail salons over the last few years and have been very happy with my nails. I always get the dip and it would always last 3, sometimes 4 weeks. No issues. I live in Gretna, so I decided to give G Nails a chance since it is much closer than my usual place. The salon is very clean and like I said, the owner is very nice. I got my nails dipped and found it odd that the nail tech had me put my nails under the UV light, but he did not put a gel polish top coat on. I just figured it was how they did things, no big deal. Well, this was on a Wednesday and by Friday both of my thumb nails were chipping. This has NEVER happened to me with the dip. I called and spoke w the owner, she said to come back and they would fix it. So I went back in, she fixed my thumbs, put a top coat polish on the rest of my nails (they all looked scuffed and dull) and called it good. I thought I was good for another few weeks as is the norm with the dip, but no, that same night another finger chips!!! What. The. Heck!!!! Then tonight that same nail popped off!!! At this point I'm so fed up and frustrated I'm not even going to bother calling the salon again. Dip should not be doing this! As nice as the salon and owner are, I will not be returning. read more

I was a walk in client and got in right away. My nail tech didn't speak English so we couldn't chat which I prefer to be able to do. She did a really good job but the next day I developed a nail bed infection so they obviously don't keep their tools clean. Lack of sanitation is why I won't go back. read more

I was a customer here for two years and at the beginning, I was very pleased, but as time went on, I got more and more fed up with the way I was treated. For about a year, the customer service was great and they could get me in all the time. Thao did a fantastic job every time and always made sure I was happy. At some point, everything changed and when I would walk in without an appointment, more than willing to wait for Thao to be finished, they would always have someone else do my nails, no one else there did them the way I liked them, but I kept coming back. There was one incident in which I called an made an appointment for my friend and I to get our nails done for her birthday and when we arrived, I had to wait an HOUR before anyone even started my nails. Every time I made an appointment, I waited at least half an hour before anyone would start me and there were several times that they asked me to just leave and come back in an hour. The last time I got my nails done at this salon, I waited for an hour and while getting my nails done, Kathy (the owner) said right to my and my friend's face that I 'need to keep getting acrylic nails because they want my money'. I mistakenly came back in for a visit after that and when they asked if I could come back in two hours because they didn't have time for me, I left enraged and went somewhere else where I am treated well and my business is appreciated. Customer service goes a long way, and when you have a loyal client, you should take care of them, not treat them poorly because you know they'll come back anyway. I will never go back to this salon and I am still upset at the way I was treated. read more
