Had an awful experience here. The quality of the services I received could have been better but by far what drove me away from ever coming here again was feeling threatened by Lucy the owner by not leaving a big enough tip. I was not satisfied so I did not leave as much as a tip as I usually would but I felt so pressured into tipping more because she would not let me leave until I showed her that I tipped her more. If I could give this nail Solon a 0 I would. They not only burned all of my fingers, I was going to let it slide but once I got home I realized my nails were not only bumpy but was very patchy as well. When asking for a refund I was given a bunch of issues. On top of that not only did my new pedicure just chip the day after I got it done but my acrylic also cracked in half and I have never had that experience before. This place is awful. Not to mention the owner always has to make you uncomfortable with always asking if you have 3 boyfriends and all this non sense. Hate this place and will never be going back. read more

Thankd to all the other yelpers I found my new spot.... I called and asked to schedule an appointment with Lucy if she had availability that day the said 4:30.... Unlike other sallona Lucy started on my nails at 4:30... I loved that it mattered that I had an appointment.... My previous acrylics (done in a different saloon) were very thick and not properly done.... When I first got my nails done I LOVED them, they looked beautiful and they were done really fast while still looking nice. After I got them done, the side of one of my nails felt sore. It got swollen and red and ended up becoming an open sore, definitely an infection from getting my nails done. Never will I go here again! read more

I was getting some last minute holiday grocery shopping done yesterday at Jewel and figured I'd call the salon to see if they had any openings. They were busy but able to schedule me for 20 minutes after my call. Lucy greeted me and had a station ready when I walked in. I was nervous to get my nails done at a salon I hadn't been to before, but Tina did a great job on my no-chip. This place is low cost and friendly and I was out the door in no time. I've been to every nail salon in Lake Zurich and some even in the surrounding towns as well. I'm super picky with my nails and am almost never satisfied. (which is why I have been to so many different places!) I finally found this place and have been coming here for 2-3 years now. I won't go anywhere else at this point. I have Lucy do my nails every time and she ALWAYS does an amazing job, and pretty quickly! I hate sitting there for a long time so I love that it only takes her about 30 minutes to do a gel fill for me, and she still does a great job! Over the years she's done different shapes for me and they have always looked exactly how I asked for them to be done. She is super nice and very accommodating, she always tries to fit me in somehow, even if I call her at the last minute. I highly recommend her! read more

I was a walk in first time customer. Let me say the salon was clean and everyone was so friendly. The nail quality is amazing and not over priced! Only down side is they are closed on Sunday and Monday the only two days I have off. Otherwise it's a must go to place in Lake Zurich for nails by far - that's saying something because I have gone to almost every in not all salons and I had some type of issue with them. I've been looking for a place to get my brows done that's on my route from Work to Home and I'm happy to say I found it! They accept walk ins which is perfect for me since I randomly decide to get them done. For the nails aspect - I do not know but I will be coming back to get a manicure. As a salon, I give this place 1 star. There is a nail salon on literally every corner in Lake Zurich, and I have tried them all. My first experience here was with Jenny and she was WONDERFUL!! She did a great job on my nails, and was very friendly and personable. I had a no chip mani and pedi done that day. My second and last experience was AWFUL! I called on a friday early afternoon and somebody answered the phone with "HELLO!". Didn't identify himself (or her with a deep voice, I couldn't really tell), or the salon. Just "HELLO!" in a very rushed and rude manner. I said very nicely "Hi, I'm calling to see if Jenny is working". He said, "WHAT DO YOU NEED?!". I said again, "I'm calling to see if Jenny is working". He again responded with "I SAID WHAT DO YOU NEED?!?". I now realize that he was asking me what service I was calling to book with Jenny, but he didn't even say "yes, she's working, what do you need?". Even that would have been slightly rude, but I could have let it go. I was a little taken aback by his abrubt and rude tone, so I said "Excuse me, is this how you speak to your potential clients?". He goes "I DON'T HAVE TIME, I AM VERY BUSY!". I said to him, "that is no excuse to speak to people in such a manner and I am going to spread the word!". So here I am trying to spread the word! This guy was so rude and no matter how great Jenny was, I will not give this salon my business, and I hope you won't either. Maybe in the future he will not be "VERY BUSY!". Wow, I am still in shock about his tone and rudeness. There are so many other choices in Lake Zurich, you should try either Coco Nails with the NICEST OWNERS, or Nail Circle by Wal-Mart. Came in for a no chip hand manicure and French toe nails (color change only, NO pedicure). No chip looks mediocre and not the shape of the nail I wanted. I pointed this out to the woman working on the nails, she didn't do anything about it and cut them shorter than I wanted. When a DIFFERENT woman started to do my feet, she started doing a pedicure, I told her I only want a color change, she proceeded with the pedicure. The place cashed me out for 60$ where I was not planning on spending that much. My French toe nails have an unwanted pink tint over the white strip. Also, for some reason I had three women doing my nails, alternating and leaving without saying anything. I had to spend almost 2 hours getting this done. There is a very difficult language barrier. I used to go weekly to Lucy and I was very satisfied with her manicures. I treated a friend to a mani-pedi and we wanted to finish at the same time so I booked her with Tina, and myself with Lucy. My friend was very satisfied and Tina is ALWAYS nice but.....Lucy would not speak to me the entire time I was getting my nails done! I was a frequent customer of hers! The customer service here is horrible. I walked into this salon with two friends. We had not called or made an appointment cause we were just planning to do a walk in and wait for a little bit. There were two ladies working and already doing nails, one lady just looks at us and says "Two acrylic fill?" and we said "no, three actually." She then asks us if we made an appointment and we said no. As soon as we said that she just ignored us and didn't say anything else. We prompted her after a couple moments of silence and started to say "so..", when she cut us off and said "Okay! Goodbye!" This woman was so incredibly rude and just dismissed us. So I guess I won't be coming back there again- go to coco nails or diva nails, the workers are so much nicer. This isn't the first time I've had issues with people here being rude to me, and that will be the last time I go there again. read more
