Great place to take your car!!! I have taken all my cars here. They really work with you in getting the system that works best for you. They put an awesome Pioneer Halo 9" CarPlay system in my SLK 350 and a retrofit 10.5" CarPlay System in my Mercedes C250. They installed a 10.25 " Screen CarPlay system and a rear monitor in my Toyota Sienna Van. After 6 months there was an issue with the screen. Jesse was more than happy to fix the issue. Initially I thought these guys were great. Jesse and his crews did decent job on my light bar installation and I went back to them to help me install the new car stereo for my truck. There were few things that needed to be completed to finish my stereo install and I was supposed to take my truck back for them to do it over lunch hours. When I came back the excuses started flying in. At first it was the electrician was sick. Then it was they were too busy and ask me to leave the truck there when I didn't arrange a ride. So when I came back with a ride arranged Jesse all of sudden said they are too busy and can't take my truck in to do a 20 min job when I was ready to leave it. Then I called back few weeks later and he still said they are too busy. I tried to be patient but at some point it sounded Ike Jesse is trying to cop out of minor work that he didn't want to do. I'm sure he probably doesn't care too much about this review either since you can probably see all the one star reviews have been popping up recently. He doesn't have an appointment system and this first come first serve deal gives him reason to fulfill good customer service obligations. Three listings for "G Sound" and I'm sure they're all equally as bad as the next. When I came to G Sound, I was driving along thinking about the perfect way to appear more Gangsta to my peeps. As I was driving, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a beacon of light emanating from the sparsely populated shopping center. This beacon was the G. I was overjoyed, since the sound from my tin can system was beginning to wear a hole in my brain. BTW...I happened to have a sub-woofer in my car which wasn't hooked up. It was merely an ornament which was proudly displayed in the back area of my vehicle strictly for the sake of bragging rights. I could then tell people, "Check out my phat 12" sub." I would (of course) have my engine turned off at the moment, with my keys conveniently too far away to retrieve. Back to G Sound! I was lured into a business transaction with promises of people flocking to hear my system, and was suckered into trading in my sub. I should have known better. What I was left with, was a louder tin can sound, and a system which would "juice up" when I turned the car on or off. In other words, the sound would 'flippin' CRANK UP. It was painful. I immediately returned to the Gs to get my system fixed, but it turned out that they are as G as advertised. They "fixed" my system just enough to get me out of their hair. A week later my system was messed up again (kept shutting off) and rather than deal with them anymore, I went to a familiar shop in La Puente. Not a great shop. They seem more self involved than anything. read more

I've been going to G Sound for years. It saddens me to see soapy negative reviews on here. There was only once that I had something even remotely close to an issue. (a fuse blew a day after I got my system installed). I went back the next day, and even though it wasn't really their fault, they replaced the fuse, free of charge. To get the best experience here, treat all the guys with respect, bullshit with em and have some fun, don't be all stuck up and proper. You treat them well, they'll always make sure you're more than satisfied. You won't find a better bang for your buck anywhere else around. The only negative I would have to say is that they often estimate incorrectly. One employee will say it costs this much, and a different one will give you a different price. But again, treat them right, and they'll work with you. read more

I been shopping around for a trustworthy Stereo shop that could work on my my Mercedes Benz S550 , which is major headache for most installers due to the fiber optic stereo setup , before I made my decision , I wanted to see and hear what the installers have done in the past . If you go to the shop and want a sample of their quality ask to hear Dre's car which was done several years ago . The sound was incredible , I also heard a white Chevy CAMARO COUPE , with one of the craziest set ups , I have ever scene , ipod in dash , back seat customized with a woofers every where , the kicker was to outside speakers that were waterproof, completely ridiculous. My Benz Set up was to look stock , I went with the following set up: one 12 inch Digital Design 2500 woofer , 1300 watt amp and custom speaker box ported for sound to go thur the arm rest,my existing woofer was termination , , digital signal processor with separate bass control was added. The system completely rocks more bass than I know what to do with. My rating break down 5 Stars for owner Bosche , he knows his stuff , he selected the right equipment , he understood exactly what I was looking for, I also reviewed his product online and he was spot on right on the money. 5 Stars for the installation , my system was delivered on time , done right the 1st time 5 Stars , the price for their service was very cheap. Reported to BBB. Ownership or management need to change. Junior, who is the main guy who answers calls, made it right at the end. Probably the worst experience ever. $700 for a remote starter scam. 2 weeks before i went in for a remote starter install, i made sure they could install Viper smart remote starter in my Challenger. Junior made sure to me they will. They are also listed as a certified business on Viper website. When i went in for an appointment i was told it'll take 2-3 hours so i decided to wait there, 6 hours later... Excuses after excuses came flowing about how Viper starter could not be installed. Soooo they decided to install a local company installer, i think it was 'skytec', which didn't work at all. I was locked out of my car because the app didn't work. I was assured it would work that's the reason i kept it. They decided to make me their first tester for their product. Grrrr I was told to go back for diagnostic, went back but still nothing. Went the third time for more fix up.. After 16 hours/3 trips all together and multiple excuses, i got fed up and wanted everything out of my car they put in. Finally, i told em to remove everything but was told to have a chat with the manager or the owner over the phone, (can't reneger the bane) I was told that i had to pay for the first module that i didn't want to begin with... Which was not a smart starter. He knew the while issue because he's been at the store Everytime i was there. The negative reviews are true. Should've gone to Xtreme Auto Sound on Foothill. He was busy for a couple of weeks so i took a risk and went to G sound.. Regret it. read more

Speakers weren't working. Was told there was a $35 diagnostic fee and if it was a simple fix, it would be included in the fee. They found the problem in about 2 min. Battery acid had eaten through a cable. Problem solved in about 15 min and didn't try to up sell me anything which I REALLY appreciate. Highly recommend. read more

Very clean install! Prices are very good and their #1 goal is customer satisfaction. I didn't like the first radio that I bought and they gladly exchanged it . They showed me features of the product and had a one on one with the techs to make sure the sound met my expectations. Honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else. WOW! NEVER BEEN TO A BETTER PLACE! I showed up in my beat up old 1990 honda accord with the stock paper cone front speakers, and no speakers in the back. My JVC stereo my grandfather put in that is so outdated the volume knob doubles as a power knob and it only has 5 station presets. Needless to say it was time to upgrade. I saved up a decent amount of cash for the sole intention of making my system obnoxious and loud enough to wake up my neighbors. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a "what's going on man" and told what looked like the owner my current system is a laughing stock and i need to upgrade. I told him what i was willing to spend and he gave me at least 4 or 5 options of what i could do within my price range. I then, very stupidly on my part, asked what the top of the line system i could do and what the price would be. Not only was it surprisingly affordable, but it was what he said would be top of the line. I left my car there for a day. I got just a basic alarm for $150 installed, four memphis m class (top of the line) speakers installed and a 4 channel amp to power them, and a ct sound sub along with a separate amp to power that. And not only that i asked them to install a single deck with Bluetooth audio, the model i agreed to get they told me they were missing the remote for so they upgraded my deck from the JVC model i said i wanted to the Pioneer deck for the same price. Turns out the Pioneer actually costs more so great customer service there taking care of me. Not only was my system loud, but it is EXACTLY what i was looking for. I will be back without question and if you need anything at all taken care of this place should be your first and only stop. Amazing place and amazing service and amazing quality of installation and product. Update: went back to upgrade my headlights to HID and add some interior LED. I seriously love this place. Honestly can't imagine anything that could stop me being a customer. My car bangs with a light show and i no longer have anxiety driving at night with the cleanest looking and brightest HID kit. read more

This place is a joke don't take your car there they had my car for over two weeks returned it to me with not a drop Of gas... I honestly don't know how much gas I had it but I know for a fact I did not take that car was not a drop of gas in it it was on dead empty ... I went right back to him and let him know and he said he only ran the car for 15 minutes in that two weeks That he had the car! I had just taken the car to the 911 store prior to that and was told the radio was what was draining the car so after I took the car with no gas and I had not one light on in the car I got it with somethings wrong with the oil sensor now.... what a coincidence... The car is older and I have diligently kept it up best as I could but I don't like any BS when it comes to bullshit! I got some crazy Story that he needed another day because he didn't have a Porsche computer to diagnose what was draining the car and when I went the next day I got a bullshit story on that too... sometimes you're better off taking cars and paying more money ... I will never take my car back there again! I trusted that place because his son had done work for me because I work at a dealer and installed a nice backup system in a customers car a few years back! Poor coustomer service. Had door locks and an alarm installed. When I got the car the passenger door wouldn't open. Went back two hours later got the car. Two months later the rear passenger door wouldn't open. Two hours repaired. Had an alarm installed in my Toyota Tacoma. Every time a motorcycle passed alarm would go off. Took it to be adjusted, was told 15 or 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I asked what was up. They went in the back to check. Came back and told me to wait another 30 min. Went in there after getting a system installed in my other truck at Al &Eds all they did was talk crap about other installers and gave excuses on there high prices. On my wife's car went in to G sound after a quote from Al&Eds.... let's just say for half the money got the same exact set up quote! But instead I asked about getting even better stuff and came home that night with the best sound system I've heard in a long time using all Focal components and it was still cheaper than Al &Eds! I'm nver going back to A&E and I'm gonna be using G sound even though I live in Rancho! I'm still amazed on how well the Focal system sounds! Thank you! read more

Got some subwoofers for my car within a year and half they have blown twice. Went to get them fixed this second time. the owner thought only one blown and replaced it under warranty then my subs still didn't play. So then all of a sudden they aren't under warranty and wanted me to buy new subs. When he said they were under warranty then changed his mind.
