Not sure why this place has such negative reviews when my experience was perfect. Called, got a quote and got in the next day. They did what I needed twice as good and cheaper than the big RV shop in town. These welds will last longer than the truck probably. I would highly recommend read more

I went to GT Welding to get a battery tray built and installed for my RV trailer. They were excellent. No wait, they said - "sure, come on by". They had it done within a few hours - great job. They even put a locking feature on it, and installed my batteries with all the wiring. It was obvious that they know RV trailers well. read more

Those giving bad reviews, not sure why. Not everyone has to be overly nice. We called yesterday to see about getting a hitch receiver on our trailer. He got us in today, did a fantastic job and got it done super quick! The weld is perfect and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. read more

After reading the reviews of this shop I searched diligently to find a shop that would be willing to lift my trailer in the same fashion. Unsuccessful in my search I went in fully expecting the same poor service others experienced. Terry delivered true to his rep. His craftsmanship mirrored his professionalism and service. His welding skills are non-existent... I could have dealt with his attitude and arrogance, if I would have received a professional welding job. I drove the trailer back to his shop to allow him a second chance. After telling me he'd grind out the previous weld and apply a new one, he just ground them down and painted them instead. read more

Proceed with caution. Two weeks after having material delivered to Terry, no work had begun. Realizing that effort toward GT Welding had died in aborning I retrieved my materials. Only to receive a deluge of verbal abuse. read more

As many others have stated, Terry is extremely rude, condescending, disrespectful and unprofessional. Don't suggest or ask any questions as that only increases his unprofessional attitude. He did an excellent job on welding a lift on my camper but was not happy with him putting a 7 way and brake controller wiring on my truck. Clarify the price for your job before you leave it. This cost me $100 more than I was expecting. We clearly miscommunicated but you can't reason with him. He offered to take it off and not charge me, which I should have taken him up on in retrospect. Even though he does do good work with his welding, I will NEVER go back to this guy based on his exceptionally poor professionalism. read more

This place does great work, there is no doubt about that. However, do not expect professionalism here. I needed a rack put on the back of my RV, I was told it would be a nice easy process. Terry (the owner) worked with me to figure out exactly what I needed. However, Terry had some health issues (I believe he got in a bad motorcycle accident) and my wife and I were very understanding. We waited 6 weeks while we went back and forth explaining the requirements multiple times. The rack came out great, but when they put it on, they put it on too close. No big deal right, we find a solution and work with it. When I called back to explain what happened Terry lost his mind on me. Screaming at me like it was my fault. In his yelling at me, he said he would work with me to fix it...but I would have to pay for the modifications. Over the six weeks I unhooked the the camper and brought it done (once to be turned away because he was too busy). We live out of our camper full time so this was not convenient at all, but we didn't complain as he was dealing with health issues. In the end, we choose to walk away with what we had because we couldn't deal with his unprofessionalism that we were presented with when something went wrong. There is no doubt they do great work, but damn....I don't have the patience to deal with the attitude so I just walked away 80% happy instead of trying to fight that stubborn owner. In the end, I do hope he recovers fully, he was great to work with at first and I hope after the full recovery he chills out. read more

Great experience here. The hitch they put on looks really good. Initially Terry quoted us for a hitch and wiring on our new (used) car but when I came to pick up the car he said there was already factory wiring that I didn't know about. He took off the price for the wiring when I came to pay so it was a hundred bucks cheaper. I didn't know a thing about the wiring so he could easily have just said he put it all in. He was nothing but professional in all our interactions, the price was the same as or cheaper than non-custom U-Haul hitches, and I'm really happy with the work! I don't normally write reviews but after seeing the negative ones and how different our experience was I had to say something. read more
