As soon as I walked in to the store I was greeted by Olga, who is a sweet cup of tea. So sweet. She was the one I was looking for to help me with all my bridezilla needs(lol). She was such a delight. She knew exactly what dress was meant for me. I kid you not, I showed her pictures of dresses, we chose a few and then she left "the dress" that was meant to be mine, for last..she saved the best for last..I did not want to take it off. Everything was perfect. From beginning to end. Even the owners were this breath of fresh air. Please consider coming to Leggenda for your bridal needs. And don't forget to ask for Olga.

This review is way overdue. I had the worst experience here and wish I could give them zero stars,…read morethey ruin the experience for me of buying the perfect dress. Their business model is to sell to travelers so they never have to see them again for any complaints so if you are from here like me don't go to this place, they don't care about you finding the perfect dress they just want your money. I wish I had seen the red flags from the moment I came to the store and the first question Olga asked me was "when is your flight?" I thought it was odd but I didn't think much of it. I said I was local, I was not traveling. Then she proceeded to show me some dresses on sale. Of course she didn't mention those were final sales. She never asked me what I was looking for, what kind of dress I liked, which I didn't know since this was the first store I went into looking for dresses. I just wanted to find the perfect dress and it didn't have to be on sale either. Olga was really pushy and was making me feel so uncomfortable. After trying five dresses, which were all between sizes 8-12 when I'm a size 4 at most, she had to place multiple pins and said the alterations were going to fix it. The alterations were not included but according to her they were not going to be that much. She kept asking me which one was going to be the one. Her face was starting to look annoyed. I didn't know I had a limit to try dresses and I felt pressured that I needed to choose on the spot. Unfortunately, I fell for her pressure and ended up buying a dress which I regretted soon after. The dress was not cheap either, it cost around $1,800. I tried it again at home and it just felt wrong that I paid so much money for a dress triple my size. For that much money, I could have gotten a much more beautiful dress that fit me better and would not need so many alterations. I took the dress to various locations near home to see how much the alterations were going to be and they all said the same thing: the dress was too big on me and it needed a LOT of work. The top almost had to be redone. The quotes I got were between $600-$1000. I went back to Leggenda and explained the situation to the owner, another person that does not care about you finding your dream dress. She said that unfortunately the dress I bought had no returns because it was a final sale and she could not do anything about it, but that if I did the alterations there it would look perfect on me. They couldn't even offer to look for another dress closer to my size that I could be more comfortable with. Needless to say, I was not going to give them more money, not to mention the fact that I didn't even trust them at all after what they did to me. I ended up paying around $700 for the alterations and it still didn't fit very well. I also discovered later through Leggenda's website that they do complimentary wine tasting for the bride and family while she chooses her dress. Of course Olga was not going to mention this to me. She saw the perfect opportunity to sell a dress when she saw me coming alone to the store with no one else that could persuade me into not buying the dress yet. She took away the opportunity for me to bring my friends and family and enjoy this experience. If I had known, I would have waited. Anyways, I hope you learn from my mistake and avoid this place. Leggenda, don't bother replying back to this message with your automatic response of "we have no record of you buying a dress here." I have seen your response to other negative reviews.

She chose this cute boutique due to some really great dress options advertised. She made an appointment and we went right up and were greeted by Martina. Champagne in hand and looking at all the dresses was such an experience. They have dresses from several designers with pieces you can add on, switch, or change around to your liking. After choosing the dresses she liked the most the show began. My friend was helped into every dress and explained different options that can be added or altered. When all done she chose 2 different ones she liked the most and the owner would send more detailed information my friend requested. It was a nice experience and a beautiful moment.

It's located in Wynwood in the blue and white stripped building next to Beaker and Grey. I quickly made an appointment online to see the Sample Dresses (since I'm working with a budget honey!). I decided to bring along two girlfriends and I was beyond excited to try on some gowns. Let me say that this experience was beyond wonderful thanks to Martina! She was so pleasant the entire time. We were greeted and then brought into the salon. Martina then offered us some champagne and then we started to browse. I tried on a variety of styles but the Dora Sasu dresses fit me PERFECTLY! I decided to take some time to think about which one, but let's see if I say Yes to the dress. You will not be disappointed when you try this shop!

The majority of dresses were blue, green or red.   The owner had a bit of an aggressive attitude. She was kind of on guard, like someone was going to steal her dresses or that the source of her dresses was top secret. I got uncomfortable vibes coming from her. The lady helping me try on the dresses, on the other hand, was nicer and softer. The dress my husband liked was about $800, but it was stained with oil spots and some type of black substance. The owner said it was probably other girls trying them on, but I'm not sure that's true since when I was there she was like a hawk about the dresses. Anyway, it did not feel good to spend so much money on a dress that looked like it had been used a few times. She offered to take it to the cleaners. The stains were deep and black, so we thought it was not wise to take chances, all the more with her attitude. What if the stains didn't come out? Not sure how the situation would've been handled, so better not go there. Needless to say, I didn't purchase anything. I was surprised to find out it is not easy to find beautiful formal gowns in Miami. I thought with all the fashion going on in this city, it would be easier. Anyway, this is not a store I can recommend.

We were there a few years ago for another family member and it was great, but this time, the attitude from the women in the front was nasty. We walked in with coffee and you would have thought we were tracking in dog poop or worse. It's just about the way you say things . We had no problem not taking our coffee inside, just tell us nicely. Unless they are trying to give the real French bitches attitude experience. It just took away from the whole experience which was sad because the woman that tended to us was really amazing.

Despite this, Marisol immediately welcomed me, brought us into a private room, and made my mother, sister, and two daughters feel completely comfortable and included. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions about my wedding and my personal style, and with each dress she brought in, she continued to fine-tune her understanding of what I liked. When she brought in a Berta gown, I was hesitant--I truly didn't think the look or style would work for me. Marisol gently encouraged me to try it on, and I'm so glad I did. I completely fell in love with the dress. She then went above and beyond by styling it in different ways, walking me through accessory options, and offering ideas on how it could be altered and customized to feel uniquely mine. I ultimately said yes to the dress and couldn't be happier. Marisol is welcoming, professional, patient, and incredibly intuitive. She truly takes the time to find what is right for the bride, not just what's on the rack. To top it all off, we realized during the appointment that she had actually been my stylist over six years ago at another boutique--it genuinely felt meant to be. This was a memorable, meaningful experience, and I'm so grateful for her guidance.

Pronovias was the third bridal shop I visited after not finding "the one" previously. I made an appointment online and sent in the names of dresses I would like to try on. I sent 7 dresses and mentioned I liked. Unfortunately, they only had 1 of those dresses in stock so it would be ideal if they just sent me a catalog of in-stock dresses to choose from. On the day of my dress appointment, I met with Daniela who was very kind and sweet. She walked me around the boutique and I tried on around 4-5 dresses. I ended up trying on the Aethra dress and loved it! I didn't say "yes to the dress" that same day as I wanted to think about it and show my mom who wasn't able to join the appointment. I purchased the dress a few days later over email and it was ordered in the sample size 10 as that is what I tried on in store. Sadly, I wouldn't see Daniela again as she ended up leaving the company shortly after. I chose to go with in-house alterations as I thought Pronovias would be best suited to alter their own gowns. This dress has a lot of beading and I imagined them pinning, cutting, customizing it to my body. The alterations flat fee costs $900 which of course sounds insane, but I thought this was normal for the work that would probably be done. I also expected exceptional service. My first alterations appointment was frankly horrible. I cannot remember her name, but this seamstress has what seemed to be zero customer service skills or empathy towards brides. My gown fit tight (still zipped) and I now realize it was probably because those sample dresses are stretched out over time. My measurements hadn't changed. At this point, the seamstress should be making suggestions and letting me know they will take it out here and fix this. Calm my nerves maybe? Absolute silence from her and she pretty much just stared at me while I awkwardly stood there. The only thing this seamstress did during that appointment was pin my waist half an inch around to remove some bunching and offer me two bustle options. Originally she wanted to put only one button which would surely snap. My dress was not and did not even need to be hemmed. ($900!!) The overskirt I ordered hadn't arrived yet and they did not tell me until I got to my appointment. I didn't say much and booked the next fitting. The second fitting I was so happy to have a new seamstress due to my last one running late. I was truly dreading the day beforehand. I also came with "reinforcements" (friends) to speak up for me if the same situation were to happen again. Once again, I try on the dress and of course it's the same situation because only the waist was changed. My friend was the one who had to ask and point out multiple times if something was going to be altered. Only then did the seamstress start cutting and pinning. Why do I have to essentially beg the seamstresses to help me? They ended up letting it out a total of about an inch on the hips and finally on pick-up day the dress fit perfectly. I feel scammed knowing that I spent $900 on "alterations" when they should have been upfront with me on how little work my dress would need. If you see that I am tall, let me know the dress won't even need be hemmed. I guess Pronovias simply only had dollar signs in mind and will happily take advantage of brides. Brides, try on the dress and take those photos to other seamstresses and ask for pricing/what work would need to be done.
