I love these people…read more First visit, one of the hygienists came out and was in a very happy-go-lucky mood. It brought me into a good mood as well! She told me something that made sense and something no other dentist had told me before. My mouth is small. When I take everything into consideration, I realized how right she was. Soon after she took care of me, I met Dr. Roberts. He was a gentleman from the start. I would come in with my backpack that I use and he would put it up on the hooks for me, pull it down for me, and even assured me that he wanted to do anything he could to make sure I was comfortable with their business there. He brought about a great first impression. I was checked out by Marsala, who is always in such a great mood too. My second visit, I saw Dr. Guerra. He examined what was going on with my mouth and claimed some of my crowding and health problems with my teeth were completely beyond my control and that without treatment, there was no way to properly take care of my teeth. My third visit, we started talking about extractions and possibly braces. The idea kind of freaked me out, but I went with it because I know for a fact I need them badly. My fourth visit, I came back and had the first tooth of four extracted. It didn't go bad at all. I am a person with high pain tolerance, but the idea of pulling teeth mentally freaked me out. Dr. Roberts numbed me up good and got it. My fifth visit, I had my braces put on by the orthodontist. Two days later and already see teeth moving. It's incredible. My sixth visit and the one I had most recent, I had three teeth extracted. The first two were easy, but the one I had that grew into my palette was painful. He tried Novocaine and all he could to remove any pain I was feeling. Unfortunately due to this tooth being on the bone, he couldn't fully numb it, but it was not his fault at all... he tried! .... He succeeded to numb it where he could and even though I felt the zing running through that tooth, he got it. Whenever I was in pain, he would stop to make sure I was okay. So here I am, awaiting to see the ortho in a little under two weeks. This place is great. I feel as though I've never been more comfortable with a dentist more so than I have been with Dr. Roberts and his staff. A+ all around. Give them a shot. Just don't steal my appointment times or Ill be mad. ;D

I didn't feel the needle. I didn't feel a thing. He is super personable and honest about what he can do for you. I wish we had more caring dentists and surgeons like this place and maybe people wouldn't have such a fear of going to the dentist. If he were a dentist, I would switch in an instant but if you ever need any oral surgery or dental implants, he is your guy for sure. His staff has been with him for years which means he is a great doctor to work for. If you have fear of needles or going to the dentist try him out. did not go well pain meds hadn't fully set in…read morepartial sedation had me ridiculously high they started pulling teeth and it hurt so i reacted, both doctors just shouted at me saying i only felt pressure, i assured them that i felt pressure AND PAIN, both, not just pressure which only upset them. i had a panic attack because i was high as hell, freaked out, in pain, getting yelled at so i started apologizing, they got more upset. they only got 3 of the 4 intended teeth out, marred a divot into the back of another molar that wasn't supposed to be touched one of the three sockets got infected badly and after 2 weeks of antibiotics multiple followups at in system dentists and the ER it still has not healed or closed up at all i cant properly eat anymore i preferred the pain before all this. I'm 25 years old and will never feel good about my teeth again for the rest of my life. This is not slander or satire. i feel horrible about myself 24/7 now.

My original dentist is on Cape Cod, but I needed a root canal and the Cape was booked out so I chose to go to Vagenas in Brockton (red flag 1 because nothing good ever comes out of Brockton). Anyway, I went and had my root canal and despite my judgement it went really well! I had to schedule another root canal for a second tooth. I went into the office, he numbed me, began work and I could still feel it so he numbed me again, ( he didn't even wait a few mins before starting again for the numbing to begin working), then I could still feel it. The minute I complained he ripped everything out of my mouth (literally) and told his assistant to reschedule me. ( which was confusing to me because I was already majority numb, and for my first canal he numbed me as much as I needed). He then told me next appointment do not drink coffee, don't smoke marijuana, or take any drugs (none of which I did).. so I'm just confused as to WHY you would treat a patient like that & what's the difference between today and next time? If he numbs me next time and it's not enough is he just going to send me home again? So now I took a morning off work, didn't get any work done, with a half numb face, & root canal that STILL needs to be done. Beyond unprofessional. & then the front office is a deer in headlights when I'm expressing my frustration, speechless, no apology, no explanation, no nothing. & this brings me to my initial comment- nothing good ever comes out of Brockton!
