I hired this company to level out my patio/pool pavers which have settled over the years also causing my hot tub to sit a bit uneven leaving the water level inside a bit higher in one end. The owner shows up on day one with 4 guys. Everyone looks busy. 10 minutes into them showing up I notice one guy starting to sweep polymeric sand around to fill in the gaps between pavers. I asked the owner why he's doing that, the pavers haven't even been leveled yet. That should be the last step. It's a simple trick to make the stones appear more leveled by not being able to see a black gap (lines) between the stones. So he says something to the guy in Portuguese and the guy starts lifting pavers for leveling. The owner left shortly after. By noon they were down to 2 guys. They kept walking around the sunken spots that I pointed out numerous times. They couldn't see any so I had to grab my own level and show them. These were areas that were OBVIOUS to the naked eye as well. The guy gives me a piece of chalk to walk around and mark everything that needs attention. Professionals could do this themselves. Common sense would dictate that a hot tub filled with water is quite heavy thus should sit on a stable and flat surface. The owner said he would level out the hot tub by draining it (I drained it the day before) and leveling the stones underneath. They simply propped up the sunken end of the tub, simply cut some stone to fill in the gap created on the visible side of the tub, for aesthetic purposes. For the non visible sides the guy simply filled in the gap with cement. I called the owner to come by and explain this to me. I asked what the weight was supported by. He said they supported the bottom by filling it with stone (there is nothing underneath my hot tub except a piece of plywood and what appears to be spray foam. I checked). So the tub is basically floating right now. On day two the owners brother shows up by himself. He sweeps polymeric sand around to fill the gaps. The sand used is so coarse that it does not bind. It's all loose and most of it has been washed out by rain and blown around by wind and ended up in the bottom of my pool. The guy left around noon without saying anything and that was the last time anyone showed up. I called out the owner on all this to which he replied he was busy with other jobs. 2 year guarantee or not I would NEVER let these people back on my property again. I was inclined to pursue a refund directly from the owner but I think going through legal channels should yield a better result. read more

I now have a new backyard patio that gave my home the backyard living space it needed. My entire property was barely disturbed as they demo'd an existing deck and installed a new patio. Owner Nilton comes across as friendly & acts like your buddy. Then disappears when there are mistakes that need to be made right. I hired them to redo my backyard. Extend a pool deck with paver. Build a large outdoor kitchen island with a bar and other things. What I got was a quartz countertop which is not rated to be used outside. Which is literally fading and not connected to the island AT ALL. One section of the bar countertop fell off and broke. Fortunately, no one was there at the time or I would have been sued and more importantly someone could have been badly injured. Also, one section of the new pool deck is sinking. Nilton and his partner have ignored dozens of text messages, emails & phone calls. I took them to small claims court. His partner asked me to settle out this out of court and they would replace the countertop. Which she said to the Judge on the record in court. I agreed. That was 5 months ago. I've been trying to reach them since December. My texts and phone calls are once again ignored. I have hired an attorney and will recoup my losses and attorney's fees. Replaced tiles on my outside deck with new tiles the company chose. The tiles started chipping over the winter. I sent Nilton (the owner)pictures of the damage and spoke to him on the phone. He is now not answering any of my calls or texts. I would never use this company again. They do not cover their own 2 year guarantee. Gabriella paving responded to my review stating that they would try to help even though it is past their 2 year warranty. It has not been 2 years since the work was done and I started contacting them regarding this problem the winter proceeding the completion of the work. I responded back to them and asked them to call me. That was over a week ago and once again no response from them. I will now have to proceed with a lawsuit. read more

We have used Gabrielle Paving twice in the last two years on the recommendation of our neighbor for who he pavered their entire driveway. First we used him for a walkway to our side entrance and the second time for our driveway. Gabrielle has competitive prices, he is honest, and shows up when he says he will. He has creative ideas on designs and doesn't cut any corners. His employees work very hard, were respectful while on the job, and did a great job cleaning up when they completed both projects. We had our walkway done yesterday. They showed up on time and was able to complete the job in 1 day. Nilton the owner also was onsite and stayed for a longtime to ensure the work was being done correctly. He delivered exactly what he promised. Not only did he deliver, but the cost was better than his competitors. His competitors were over charging and wasn't doing all of what Nilton offered. Talking to Nilton was like talking to a family member, he listened to your concerns and was able to address them. We already have another project and they will be the company we will use. He is very busy, so be patient. It's worth the wait. read more
