It was denied by my insurance company because they didn't send in the photos. I called the office and they kept transferring me to the person that takes photos so I could schedule photos but I already had photos done because they weren't listening to what I was saying. I finally got to the right person and they said they did send the photos so I asked them to just please send them again because they don't have them. Apparently they sent everything in as a new claim and it was denied because I already had an open claim. They also only submitted the claim for only one eye!! I ended up going somewhere else and was successful. Fast-forward to now, I went there for a certain issue. When I made the appointment I explained what was going on and got the appointment within two weeks. So I went there and they started doing their usual checking my vision, dilation, and when it comes to the actual eye test I was having a lot of trouble because I was there because I was having an issue whether I was wearing glasses or not. The technician got annoyed with me and kept saying I was being inconsistent and that she couldn't finish this exam because I was just being too inconsistent and I finally said well I'm not here for this anyway. I'm here because I'm having an actual issue. Apparently nobody told them why I was there. They thought I was there for a check up and some glasses. After almost 3 hours I finally got to see the doctor who started talking about glasses. Again I told him I am not there for glasses and told him what I was there for. He got a little flustered started throwing his arms up in the air he's like I just don't know and said a few other things and just left. Huh? He did order a test for my optic nerve which looked fine. He rescheduled me for two appointments. So I went in today for the first one and you know what it was for? Glasses! I asked even before I paid the co-pay what I was there for just to be safe and that's what I was told. They said sometimes prescriptions can change. And I said well it happens when I'm not wearing my glasses too so I'm gonna bet and say it's not the glasses. They still tried to get me to get the exam for new glasses! They do not listen to their patients. At all.

I was told that I needed eye surgery and he can do one eye today and I can come back in 2 weeks for the other eye. I was shocked that I could have "surgery" just like that. So I wanted to know what was going on with the vision loss and right before the surgery I asked him if this will help with what's going on and he seemed mildly annoyed that I was asking. He tells me that he needs to do this because behind my eyes the fluid isn't draining as it should and this is a preventative measure to take and once it's done he can have a better idea of what's going on. I had it done that day, waited 15 mins and I was checked to make sure I was good. This entire appointment took 3 hours. I have been to eye Drs as a child and I know you're there for a while. I was pretty happy with everything and I have my appointment for my other eye in 2 days and I randomly checked the CVS app to see if I had a refill on a prescription I am taking and I see a prescription for eye drops. NO ONE told me about eye drops. No one mentioned anything about after care, NOTHING! I am shocked. I should have been taking the drops this entire time. I saw the yelp reviews before going but I also checked google and they're wildly different and this place was SLAMMMMMED with people in 2 waiting rooms. I'm just not sure how to feel about everything with no one saying anything to me about a prescription. That's what upsets me. Otherwise I wouldn't have given 4 stars.

I've been seeing Dr Rabady now for a few years. I have had two cataract surgeries (with another doc…read morethere) and one vitrectomy, to remove floaters, as well as a retinal year repair. All the surgeries went very well and my vision is great! I continue to go regularly for retinal check ups for the vitreous detachment and retinal tear. I have high confidence in Dr Rabady's skill and, he's a personable guy. The biggest improvement over the years has been that the in-office wait time has gone down dramatically. When you know you will be having a life-long relationship with a provider, it is comforting to have this level of confidence in them. Also, the office staff are very pleasant, which is a rarity these days.

After several experiences over the course of the week were staff violated my HIPPA rights - notably when one receptionist grabbed the phone from another, stated my name and said she was ending the call (direct HIPPA violation) and hung up on me, I'm now tasked with tedious ethical obligations. It's important to note I deal with two large Doctors offices weekly - for many years, including getting prior authorizations - for a serious internal injury. The staff openly talk about patients. Dr. Roth engaged in office gossip, then based off that decided to call and attempt to degrade and threaten me. They're all rather stupid not to realize everyone has the ability to record things, and as a communication professional, I was so disturbed after my first contact I knew to protect myself. The slander he slung hurt him grossly as it is all contradicted by the conversation I had earlier in the day with Casey (who is highly manipulative and exhibits deep psychosis/lack of empathy comparable to seri@l k!llrs). He didn't even take the time to collect information before the call, not aware his threat meant nothing and me answering was giving him the shovel. He talks real loud.

After many months of "watching" my problem, I was told by the first doctor that I should seek another physician. On to Capital Region Retina where I found Dr. Wang. She has been compassionate and has cared for my eye problem. I would recommend CRR to other patients with eye problems. Office staff are efficient and personable. It's not an entire day production while they do eye scans, etc. Then you see the doctor and you're on your way. Faster, efficient and recommendable.
