Our first night in Versailles, we had a fabulous dinner @Gaberem
From the moment we walked in the door, we knew it was going to be AMAZING!
The owner who happen to also be our waitress made us feel at home and took extra care helping us translate the menu!
The menu was so unique and each dish was made with fresh seasonal ingredients!
We shared 3 of the starters-
Crab, Avocado and Mango
Chilled Pea and Mint Soup
Beef Carpaccio with an eggplant tart and pepper sorbet. The Pepper sorbet was like nothing I've ever eaten! It definitely inspired me to get an ice cream maker to create a savory sorbet!
For our entree, we split the
Truffle Conchiglie
Veal with a peppercorn sauce
Pork belly in a tangy sweet sauce. The pork was so tender, we didn't even need a knife.
