Hello, I wanted to reach out regarding the bouquet I ordered and sent to a friend for her birthday. While I understand substitutions may occur, the arrangement delivered looks quite different from the one pictured online the colors are darker, the bouquet is much smaller/less full, and it's missing the lighter filler flowers that gave the original design its look. Additionally, one of the yellow roses arrived with visible brown spots (photo attached), which was disappointing given that this was meant to be a special gift. I would NEVER order from them. They never delivered the flowers (in Los Gatos) and when I asked them (they didn't pick up the calls first and no voicemail set up either) - the lady mentioned they got the order late! I have email confirmation that they got it on time. And there's zero excuse for this. She said she would deliver 2 days later! I told her to pls cancel and refund the amount. The good: I got a bouquet of white flowers from here (the remembrance sympathy flowers) that were gorgeous. I liked that some of the lilies were still young buds so that the bouquet lasted longer and continued to smell nice. The roses were also fresh looking and not wilted. The arrangement was classy and tasteful. I used the flowers to commemorate my dad with an at-home altar. Parts of the bouquet lasted over one week. The prices are fair and comparable to other floral shops. The bad: They're closed Sundays. The interesting: They don't deliver to zip code 95033. As we walked in there were not many flowers available, but the lovely lady offered us to take two of the already prepared bouquets to go. Can't there be a 1/2 star option? I'm so annoyed right now typing this. I've used FTD Flowers numerous times over the years and have only experienced maybe one or two disappointments. This one was just beyond ridiculous. Is it because the florist FTD contracted out to is in Los Gatos? Seriously? I usually scour Yelp of course to find a great florist and order directly. Unfortunately, I was under a time crunch and decided to trust in FTD. HUGE mistake. Now, I'm writing this review for Gaeta's because they were the outsourced Florist for FTD. When she asked if they could bring them back, they said she would need to call their office. After calling FTD 3 times then Greta's Flowers did I find out they had left the flowers in our apartment office. Secondly, I understand the flowers listed on FTD are not always what is available. Purchased two dozen red roses today as a walk-in and received an incredibly good, fresh bundle with just the right amount of green foliage accent, arranged pretty close to perfect. None of the roses had broken or dead petals, and the overall result was amazing. The owners and their daughter were friendly, helpful, and very pleasant. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to get, but we figured it out together. They also did their best to make sure I was comfortable while waiting. The only drawback is that the store isn't really set up for browsing; there aren't a lot of finished arrangements or plants set out to just buy. I suspect this is because most of their business is set up around fulfilling online orders or specific/custom orders. But that worked out just fine for me since I had a good idea of what I wanted, so as long as you're not looking for that I definitely recommend this place. read more

My fiancé ordered an arrangement and had it delivered to my work the Friday before Mother's Day. The business indicated delivery would take place between 9am & 12 pm. I needed some flowers for a casual get-together, so I called in the middle of the week to see if they could help me. I said I did not want to spend a lot of money, but I wanted bright splashy colors to make a pretty setting. The woman kept saying she didn't know what kind of flowers I wanted and how much.....yada yada yada. I just wanted a ballpark figure. She said for me to come in and she would put together a mixed bouquet of flowers of my choice based on my budget. I emphasized again that I wanted bright colors and for cheap. She said she had lots of colors so I should come in and look around. She said her bouquets start at $10. My husband and I went in over the weekend. After talking a bit, she steered us toward daisies and carnations for our budget. This was fine, except that she didn't have much color choice. For daisies, she had white, light pink, and yellow. She had more colors in carnations, but nothing real vibrant. I know I had said cheap and "bright colors" on the phone, so I was expecting to see bright colors and saw none. I felt like she had wasted our time by telling us to come in when she didn't have much of a selection. She suggested that I buy 5 bouquets to fill the containers I talked to her about. That would be $50....not the amount I wanted to spend for colors I didn't wanted. We ended up buying two bouquets when we should have just thanked her and walked away. Later that day, we went to Costco and saw that they had a great selection of flowers. We bought two more HUGE bouquets of vibrant daisies. I didn't realize how small Gaeta's bouquets were until I saw Costco's ginormous bunches....and they were cheaper too! I had called a florist to begin with because I thought they would have a greater selection of flowers than a supermarket. Apparently, this is not always the case as I learned today. BTW, we put all the flowers in water overnight for the party the next day. The next morning, I woke up and found that Gaeta's daisies had all wilted. The Costco daisies were still good, so I'm not sure why her flowers wilted, but we were not happy about that. read more
